The goal of this diploma work is to introduce the life and the work of Jiří Langer - one of the most interesting Czech Jewish authors. Langer did not use only Czech to express his ideas, but also Hebrew and the German language. I introduced him as a Czech author because I am convinced that it was mostly the Prague environment that formed him. The second important influence was his experience of Hasidism. Jiří Langer entered the world of literature thanks to the study Die Erotik der Kabbala and other Judaic works - in this period under the influence of Freud. He published in Czech his master work Devět bran (Nine Gates) in 1937 - an interesting collection of Hasidic legends, which is not comparable to any other works. In 1938 he succeeded to publish Talmud. Ukázky dějiny. (The Talmud. Excerpts and History) - a Judaic publication destined for Czech clerks in Galicia. He proved his translation and poetic abilities by publishing the anthology of Hebrew poetry from the 10th to the 19th century called Zpěvy zavržených (Songs of the Rejected) in 1938. The last two books, he managed to publish, was the Hebrew poetry. The first Piyutim veShirei Yedidut appeared in Prague in 1929, the second Me'at Tzori was published after his death in Palestine in 1943. Among his friends were Franz Kafka, Max Brod and Dov Sadan....Tato práce má za úkol představit život a dílo jednoho z nejpozoruhodnějších autorů, českého židovského spisovatele Jiřího Langera (1894 Praha - 1943 Tel Aviv). Jiří Langer vstoupil do literatury knihou Erotika kabbaly (1923) a dalšími odbornými judaistickými statěmi, v prvním období ovlivněn Freudem. Vrcholné dílo, které publikoval česky roku 1937, bylo Devět bran - pozoruhodná sbírka chasidských legend, která dodnes nemá v literárním světě obdoby. Roku 1938 ještě stihnul vydat odbornou publikaci Talmud. Ukázky a dějiny. První publikoval ještě v Praze pod jménem Pijutim ve sire jedidut (1929) - Básně a písně přátelství a druhou v Palestině, Meat cori (1943) - Troška balšámu. V okruhu jeho přátel byli: Franz Kafka, Max Brod či Dov Sadan. Avšak byl to bratr František,...Katedra českého jazyka a katedra české literaturyFaculty of EducationPedagogická fakult

We report a case of lamellar ichthyosis and sight-threatening complications of cicatricial ectropion in an adult male patient which was surgically managed with tectonic penetrating keratoplasty. We present a case of autosomal-recessive lamellar ichthyosis in a 47-year-old man who was referred to our outpatient eye clinic for treatment of primary keratouveitis of the right eye with keratolysis and exudation in the anterior chamber. A diagnosis of cicatricial ectropion with serious lagophthalmos was established on examination. The patient underwent tectonic penetrating keratoplasty, cataract extraction, and intra-ocular lens placement with no perioperative complications. The patient was subsequently treated with oral fluconazole 200 mg once daily for 12 days due to a positive fungal culture for Candida albicans and systemic oral acyclovir 250 mg 3 times per day for 12 days as prophylaxis for a labial herpetic infection. Post-operative complications included corneal rejection and nonhealing neurotropic epithelial defect of the graft. Long-term treatment with topical cyclosporine (Ikervis®) and dexamethasone led to resolution of the corneal rejection. Lubrication with artificial tears containing hyaluronic acid, perfluorohexyl octane (Evotears®), and vitamin A ointment led to symptomatic relief of dry eye disease. The patient was referred to a dermatologist and was started on systemic retinoid acitretin at a dose of 0.5 mg/kg per day. Ten months after surgery, the patient’s visual acuity was 0.1 based on the Snellen chart and the corneal graft was stable. Infection in the cornea can rapidly progress to corneal melting in patients with severe cicatricial ectropion. A good patient outcome depends on the interdisciplinary approach to patient management by the ophthalmologist, dermatologist, and plastic surgeon

Six dairy products were tested. Bifidobacteria were enumerated and isolated using TPY agar modified by the addition of mupirocin (100 mg l-1). Isolates were identified to the genus level by the detection of fructose-6-phosphate phosphoketolase (F6PPK) and by the FISH method. Bifidobacteria were characterised using API 50 CHL and API ID 32 A Rapid tests. In addition, grow at 46 °C was tested. Subsequently, all strains were identified to the species level using computer program Bacter. The identification was also carried out by PCR method using genus- and species-specific primers.Testirali smo šest mlečnih izdelkov. Štetje bifidobakterij in izolacijo smo izvedli na TPY agarju, ki smo mu dodali muriprocin (100 mg l-1). Izolate smo identificirali na ravni rodu z detekcijo fruktoza-6-fosfat fosfoketolaze (F6PPK) in z metodo FISH. Bifidobakterije smo opisali s hitrima testoma API 50CHL in API ID 32. Preverili smo tudi rast pri 46 °C. Nato smo vse isolate identificirali na ravni vrst z računalniškim programom Bacter. Dodatno smo izvedli identifikacijo z metodo PCR ob uporabi za posamezen rod, oziroma vrsto specifičnih začetnih oligonukleotidov
