The aim this Bachelor thesis is to summarize the contemporary states of internal combustion engines in tractors and requirements on them. The overview of internal combustion engines was made and it also constains a brief characteristics and descriptions of these engines. At the end of this work there is a description of historical development and there are olso mentioned trends for the future.

Functional Verification of Processor Execution Units

Práce se zaobírá začleněním procesu funkční verifikace do vývojového cyklu návrhu funkčních jednotek v prostředí pro souběžný návrh hardwaru a softwaru systému Codasip. Cílem bylo navrhnout a implementovat verifikační prostředí v jazyku SystemVerilog pro verifikaci automaticky generované hardwarové reprezentace těchto jednotek. Na začátku jsou rozebrány přínosy a obvyklé postupy při funkční verifikaci a vlastnosti systému Codasip.  Dále je v práci popsán návrh, implementace, analýza průběhu a výsledků testů verifikace simulačního modelu aritmeticko-logické jednotky. Závěrem jsou zhodnoceny dosažené výsledky práce a navrhnuta zlepšení pro možný další rozvoj verifikačního prostředí.The thesis deals with integration of functional verification into the design cycle of execution units in  a hardware-software co-design environment of the Codasip system. The aim of the thesis is to design and implement a verification environment in SystemVerilog in order to verify automatically generated hardware representation of the execution units. In the introduction, advantages and basic methods of functional verification and principles of the Codasip system are discussed. Next chapters describe the process of design and implementation of the verification environment of arithmetic-logic unit as well as the analysis of the results of verification. In the end, a review of accomplished goals and the suggestions for future development of the verification environment are made.

EVALUATION METRICS APPLIED TO ACCIDENT TOLERANT FUEL CLADDING CONCEPTS FOR VVER REACTORS

Enhancing the accident tolerance of LWRs became a topic of high interest in many countries after the accidents at Fukushima-Daiichi. Fuel systems that can tolerate a severe accident for a longer time period are referred as Accident Tolerant Fuels (ATF). Development of a new ATF fuel system requires evaluation, characterization and prioritization since many concepts have been investigated during the first development phase. For that reason, evaluation metrics have to be defined, constraints and attributes of each ATF concept have to be studied and finally rating of concepts presented. This paper summarizes evaluation metrics for ATF cladding with a focus on VVER reactor types. Fundamental attributes and evaluation baseline was defined together with illustrative scenarios of severe accidents for modeling purposes and differences between PWR design and VVER design

Interdisciplinarity in vocational guidance: an action theory perspective

In addressing the issue of interdisciplinary research in vocational guidance, twelve propositions important for understanding the vocational guidance process as joint, goal-directed action are presented. They address the encounter between client and counsellor leading to relational ethics, the relevance of everyday action theory and methods for the analysis of goal-directed processes as joint actions, projects, and careers.
