Verbs d'actitud

En aquest article es defineix la classe dels verbs d'actitud, tant intensionalment, a partir de criteris sintàctics i semàntics, com extensionalment. Quant a la sintaxi, s'observa que els verbs que pertanyen a aquest grup presenten almenys una estructura distintiva compartida; pel que fa a la semàntica, a més d'identificar-hi els mateixos components de significat, s'ha observat que presenten també el mateix tipus general d'estructura esdevenimental. La hipòtesi de treball és la de Levin -els verbs que tenen el mateix significat comparteixen el mateix comportament sintàctic-, encara que amb alguns matisos. El punt de partida és també la classificació d'aquesta autora, sobre la qual es proposa una reagrupació en funció dels criteris esmentats.In this article we propose a new semantic class that we have named: the attitude predicates. We define this class both intensionally, using syntactic as well as semantic criteria, and extensionally. Regarding syntax, it is noticed that the verbs that belong to this group share at least one dintinctive structure. As far as the semantic analysis of the predicates is concerned, we define a set of common meaning components to all of them as well as presenting the same type of event structure. The hipothesis upon which this work is based is that of Levin -verbs that have the same meaning also present an identical syntactic behavior-, even though there are several differences between our approach and hers. Transnational Dissemination of Discourses on Non-normative Sexualities through Netflix: the Sex Education Case (2019-2020)

This paper analyzes the series Sex Education’s role in the transnational dissemination of discourses on non-normative sexualities, equality and LGBTIQ+ diversity. From a LGBTIQ+ Studies perspective, a mixed design with non-experimental ex-post-facto methodology has been applied through transmedia measurement instruments and the ILGA World and Global Attitudes reports. Netflix –through Sex Education– is confirmed to transnationally spread values of diversity and LGBTIQ+ equality in countries without full social and legal protection for such diversity, promoting the construction of alternative subjectivities

Testing mixed-signal cores: a practical oscillation-based test in an analog macrocell

A formal set of design decisions can aid in using oscillation-based test (OBT) for analog subsystems in SoCs. The goal is to offer designers testing options that do not have significant area overhead, performance degradation, or test time. This work shows that OBT is a potential candidate for IP providers to use in combination with functional test techniques. We have shown how to modify the basic concept of OBT to come up with a practical method. Using our approach, designers can use OBT to pave the way for future developments in SoC testing, and it is simple to extend this idea to BIST.European Union 2635

After revising the literature, we analyze several human resources policies that influence on the workers` intention of sharing their knowledge with the others. To that purpose, we carried out an inquiry to the human resources managers of 242 high technology manufacturer companies. Abundancia de juveniles de camarones peneidos comerciales en la zona norte de Laguna Madre, México

Monthly samplings were carried out during August, 2005 to November, 2006 to analizing the changes of the abundance of commercial juvenile penaeid shrimps in the North part of Laguna Madre, Tamaulipas. In every nine points a night trawl were carried out using a seine net of mesh size of 1.25 cm and 6 m length of bottom rope. Three commercial penaeid shrimp species were found and each one presented high abundance values for different periods of the year. Brown shrimp, Farfantepenaeus aztecus, in April-May period; pink shrimp, Farfantepenaeus dourarum, in DecemberJanuary, and the white shrimp, Litopenaeus setiferus in July and September. These results showed that different species presented a differential temporal use in Laguna Madre.Se tomaron muestras mensuales de agosto del 2005 a noviembre del 2006, para analizar los cambios de abundancia de juveniles de camarones peneidos comerciales en la parte norte de Laguna Madre, Tamaulipas. En cada una de las nueve estaciones de muestreo se realizó un arrastre nocturno, utilizando una red tipo chinchorro, de tamaño de malla de 1.25 cm y seis metros de longitud de relinga inferior. Se observaron tres especies de peneidos comerciales y cada una de ellas tuvo sus valores más altos de abundancia en diferentes periodos del año. El camarón café, Farfantepenaeus aztecus fue más abundante de abril-mayo; el camarón rosado, Farfantepenaeus dourarum en diciembreenero y el camarón blanco, Litopenaeus setiferus en julio y septiembre. The Role of Popular Culture for Queer Teen Identities’ Formation in Netflix’s Sex Education

Queer teenagers are avid readers of popular culture; as numerous audience studies prove, television plays a significant role in identity-formation for LGBTIQ+ youth, providing them with the information about sexuality, gender roles or non-normative relationships usually unavailable in their educational and home environments. In this article we analyze how some of the protagonists of Netflix’s TV show Sex Education (2019-present) utilize popular culture as a tool to explore their desires, forbidden fantasies, and gender expressions, becoming instrumental in the formation of their queer identities in a way that metatextually reflects the role LGBTIQ+ shows play for their audiences. Such is the case of Adam, a bisexual teenager that masturbates to the image of a fictional actor featured in a 1980s action film poster; Lily, whose sexual fantasies of role playing with alien creatures are strongly influenced by spatial sci-fi; and Ola, whose onyric universe is influenced by David Bowie’s genderbending aesthetics. Dentistry as a branch of Medical Sciences is influenced by a great deal of scientific information written in English, compelling the dental professionals to be updated in English language for a better science understanding. One of the means and methods to fulfill such goal is through English terms glossaries in which in a very simple way provide the meaning of the most frequent and important words of a certain area of knowledge. This Glossary focused on Endodontics has been conceived mainly as a working and reference tool for dental students and post- graduated professionals. Some terms have been left out of the Glossary because of their similarity to the Spanish equivalent. However, others were included because of their special translation. It is not an attempt to give all the words and phrases related to Endodontics; the aim is only to offer a quick and an updated reference on the most common and indispensable terms in this field.La estomatología como rama de las ciencias médicas no escapa al impacto del desarrollo de la ciencia y la técnica donde se crean grandes volúmenes de información científica que en la mayor parte de los casos su divulgación y/o comunicación provienen de países de habla inglesa o se generan en ese idioma, siendo muy necesario para el profesional al permitirle comprender y comunicar mejor la ciencia. Os efeitos do tema socioambiental nas habilidades de pensamento crítico dos futuros professores do ensino fundamental

This article investigates the effects of the socio-environmental theme in the development of critical thinking skills in the future primary school teachers, through the STSE approach. A quasi-experimental pretest / postest design and two types of instruments, were used: a didactic intervention instrument, consisting of some teaching-learning sequences, and the second instrument, an adaptation of the Halpern test, was used to assess critical thinking skills for socio-environmental situations. The pretest showed a low level of critical thinking skills. After the intervention, the statistical analysis showed very favorable significant changes in two of the skills evaluated, the argument analysis and decision-making and problem solving. In addition, the intervention allowed students to make a critical reflection on the positive and negative aspects of science and technology, the relationships between them and with society and the environmentEste artículo de investigación indaga por los efectos de la temática socioambiental en el desarrollo habilidades de pensamiento crítico en el futuro profesorado de primaria, a través del enfoque CTSA. Con un diseño cuasiexperimental pretest/postest, se utilizaron dos tipos de instrumentos: un instrumento de intervención didáctica que consistió en secuencias de enseñanza-aprendizaje; y el segundo instrumento se utilizó para la evaluación de habilidades del pensamiento crítico, este estuvo basado en el test de Diane Halpern y fue adaptado para situaciones socioambientales. El pretest mostró un bajo nivel de habilidades de pensamiento crítico. Después de la intervención didáctica, el análisis estadístico mostró cambios significativos muy favorables en dos de las habilidades evaluadas, a saber, el análisis de argumentos y la toma de decisiones y resolución de problemas. Además, con la intervención se logró que los estudiantes hicieran una reflexión crítica respecto a los aspectos positivos y negativos de la ciencia y la tecnología, las relaciones entre ellas y con la sociedad y el medio ambiente.Este artigo investiga os efeitos do tema socioambiental no desenvolvimento de habilidades de pensamento crítico em futuros professores do ensino fundamental, por meio da abordagem CTSA. Foram utilizados um desenho quase-experimental pré-teste / pós-teste e dois tipos de instrumentos: um instrumento de intervenção educacional composto por sequências de ensino-aprendizagem e o segundo instrumento foi utilizado para a avaliação de habilidades de pensamento crítico, este foi baseado no teste de Diane Halpern e foi adaptado para situações socioambientais. O pré-teste mostrou um baixo nível de habilidades de pensamento crítico. Após a intervenção, a análise estatística mostrou mudanças significativas muito favoráveis em duas das habilidades avaliadas, análise de argumentos e tomada de decisão e resolução de problemas. Além disso, a intervenção permitiu aos alunos fazer uma reflexão crítica sobre os aspectos positivos e negativos da ciência e da tecnologia, as relações entre eles e com a sociedade e o meio ambiente

Nuevo registro de Rhachoepalpus Olivaceus Townsend, 1908 (diptera: tachinidae) para Puebla, México

This is the first record of Rhachoepalpus olivaceus Townsned, 1908 for the state of Puebla, Mexico. The record is based on several specimens found in northern Puebla, municipality of Capuluaque, specifically in Tetela de Ocampo. The specimens were determined with taxonomic keys and deposited in the Insect Collection of Colegio de Postgraduados, Montecillo, Mexico (CEAM).Este es el primer registro de Rhachoepalpus olivaceus Townsned, 1908 para el estado de Puebla, México. El registro está basado en varios especímenes encontrados al norte de Puebla, municipio de Capuluaque, específicamente en Tetela de Ocampo. Los especímenes fueron determinados con claves taxonómicas y depositados en la Colección de Insectos del Colegio de Postgraduados, Montecillo, Mexico (CEAM)
