    Spontaneous Lung Herniation Leading to Extensive Subcutaneous Emphysema, Pneumothorax, Pneumomediastinum, and Pneumopericardium.

    Spontaneous lung herniation is a rare phenomenon in which the lung parenchyma along with the pleural membranes protrudes outside their usual boundaries and can lead to a wide variety of complications. We are reporting a case of a middle-aged male who presented with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) exacerbation with severe bouts of cough. Initial computed tomography (CT) chest was unrevealing, but two days later, he developed spontaneous lung herniation, which was initially managed conservatively, but later it progressed to pneumothorax, pneumomediastinum, with striking CT scan images showing extensive subcutaneous emphysema. Blowhole incisions were done on the anterior chest wall which led to ultimate recovery

    Juxtaposition of micro and macro dynamics of dividend policy on stock price volatility in financial sector of Pakistan : (comparative analysis through common, fixed, random and GMM effect)

    The purpose of this study is to analyze the dividend policy dynamics in context to firm specific and macroeconomic variables with stock price volatility in the financial sector of Pakistan. Panel data is used for the period 2006-2014 to identify the common, fixed, random and GMM effect. It is concluded that dividend payout ratio, market value, interest volatility and inflation volatility have positive significant correlation with price volatility. Common effect model shows that dividend payout and interest volatility has a significant positive impact on the share prices. Whereas fixed effect model is more appropriate and good fit than random effect model and model indicate that dividend payout ratio has significant positive impact and market volatility has significant negative impact on stock prices. GMM results also support the fixed and random effect outcomes with more robustness. This study significantly contributes in dividend policy decisions and elaborates the dynamic roll of micro and macro variables on stock price volatility in financial sector of Pakistan.peer-reviewe

    Posterior reversible encephalopathy syndrome (PRES) after bevacizumab therapy for metastatic colorectal cancer.

    Posterior reversible encephalopathy syndrome (PRES) is an increasingly recognizable neuro-clinical syndrome. Clinical and neurological manifestations of PRES include hypertension, headache, encephalopathy, seizures, and symmetrical white matter changes on brain MRI. Most common precipitants of PRES are acute medical illness, hypertensive crisis, eclampsia, immunosuppressive therapy, and chemotherapy. Bevacizumab is a monoclonal antibody that halts angiogenesis by inhibiting vascular endothelial growth factor. It has gained widespread popularity in oncology world especially for metastatic and recurrent cancers due to its inherent ability to stop angiogenesis; a vital step for tumor growth. Bevacizumab has also been implicated as the cause of PRES due to dysregulation of the blood-brain barrier. We are reporting a case of PRES induced by Bevacizumab in a patient of colorectal cancer

    ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjawab pertanyaan strategi apa yang dilakukan oleh PDIP di desa Kota Raja dalam memobilisasi pemilih pada saat Pemilu 2019 sehingga dapat meraih suara yang sangat signifikan. Dari Data Pemilih Tetap (DPT) desa Kota Raja berjumlah 1.534 jiwa pilih, sementara pemilih yang mengunakan hak pilih berjumlah 1406 dan tidak menggunakan hak pilih berjumlah 128. PDIP memperoleh suara di tingkat kabupaten  57,25% atau sekitar 805 suara dan sisanya 42,74 % atau 601 suara di miliki oleh partai lain. Strategi mobilisasi PDIP pada pemilu 2019 di desa Kota Raja meliputi pemberian bantuan pada saat kampanye, jaringan tim kerja meliputi tokoh-tokoh masyarakat dan skema tema kampanye melalui isu kandidat dan program pembayaran pajak PBB.  Kata Kunci : Strategi, Mobilisasi, PDIP, Pemilu  ABSTRACTThis study aims to answer the question of the strategy carried out by PDIP in Kota Raja village in mobilizing voters during the 2019 Elections so as to gain a very significant vote. From Kota Kota's Permanent Voter Data (DPT), there were 1,534 voters, while voters who used their voting rights numbered 1406 and did not use voting rights totaling 128. PDIP obtained votes at the district level 57.25% or around 805 votes and the remaining 42.74 % or 601 of the votes are owned by other parties.     ABSTRAKPersyarikatan Muhammadiyah sebagai Ormas Islam melakukan Gerakan Islam, Da’wah Amar Ma’ruf Nahi Munkar dan Tajdid, bersumber pada Al-Qur’an dan As-Sunnah. Dalam gerakan dakwahnya ini, Muhammadiyah fokus pada bidang pendidikan, kesehatan dan ekonomi, dengan Amal Usaha dan Amal Murninya. Dalam rangka melaksanakan kegiatan dakwahnya, Muhammadiyah memerlukan bidang-bidang tanah untuk tempat mendirikan sarana prasarana organisasi dan amal usahanya tersebut.Hak Milik atas tanah dapat dipunyai oleh perorangan dan badan-badan hukum tertentu, yaitu bank Negara, koperasi pertanian, badan keagamaan, dan badan sosial. Persyarikatan Muhammadiyah sebagai badan hukum keagamaan dan sosial diakui pemerintah sebagai badan hukum yang dapat mempunyai Hak Milik atas tanah, dengan penyebutan pemilik adalah Persyarikatan Muhammadiyah yang berkedudukan di Yogyakarta. Pengelolaan tanah Hak Milik Persyarikatan Muhammadiyah ini dilakukan oleh Majelis Wakaf dan Kehartabendaan tingkat Pusat, Wilayah dan Daerah. Sementara itu pemanfaatannya dapat dipergunakan untuk keperluan Persyarikatan Muhammadiyah sendiri, dan pihak lain di luar Persyarikatan Muhammadiyah dengan perjanjian tertulis dan dengan syarat-syarat tertentu. Kata Kunci: Hak Milik atas tanah, badan hukum, Persyarikatan Muhammadiyah

    MENCEGAH SENGKETA TANAH

    Land disputes occur because they are related to the control of land rights. The control of land rights is carried out in accordance with the provisions of the legislation, so land disputes can be avoided, can be prevented. Minimization of conflict and optimization of order can be stated as the ultimate goal of using law as a regulator of people's lives. Due to the importance of this problem, on September 24, 1960, Law Number 5 of 1960 concerning Basic Regulations on Agrarian Principles was enacted, which is usually called the Basic Agrarian Law and abbreviated as UUPA. The UUPA is the embodiment of Article 33 paragraph (3) of the 1945 Constitution. The land issue is part of the agrarian problem. In connection with this, the approach in this paper is carried out in a normative juridical manner, namely the type of research that uses secondary data or library data as the main data. Based on the discussion carried out, it can be concluded that preventing land disputes can be done by: (1) administering land rights certificates. If the land is still in the form of land rights according to customary law or civil (western) law, then convert the rights and register the land, until a certificate of land rights is issued; (2) keep the land certificate carefully; (3) create clear and permanent land boundaries; (4) construct buildings and plant perennials; (5) make a nameplate of the owner on the land in question as a notification to the community; (6) the transfer of land rights must always be before the Land Deed Making Official (PPAT)/Notary.Sengketa tanah terjadi karena terkait dengan penguasaan hak-hak atas tanah. Penguasaan hak atas tanah dilakukan sesuai dengan ketentuan peraturan perundang-undangan, maka sengketa tanah dapat dihindari, dapat dicegah. Minimalisasi konflik dan optimalisasi ketertiban dapatlah dinyatakan sebagai tujuan akhir dari penggunaan hukum sebagai pengatur kehidupan masyarakat. Berhubung demikian pentingnya masalah tersebut, maka pada tanggal 24 September 1960 diberlakukanlah Undang-Undang Nomor 5 Tahun 1960 tentang Peraturan Dasar Pokok-pokok Agraria, yang biasa disebut Undang-Undang Pokok Agraria dan disingkat UUPA. UUPA merupakan pengejawantahan dari Pasal 33 ayat (3) Undang-Undang Dasar 1945. Masalah pertanahan menjadi bagian dari masalah keagrariaan. Sehubungan dengan hal tersebut, maka pendekatan dalam tulisan ini dilakukan secara yuridis normatif, yaitu jenis penelitian yang menggunakan data sekunder atau data kepustakaan sebagai data utamanya. Berdasarkan pembahasan yang dilakukan, maka dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa mencegah sengketa tanah itu dapat dilakukan dengan cara: (1) mengurus sertipikat hak atas tanah. Bila tanahnya masih berupa hak atas tanah menurut hukum adat atau hukum perdata (barat), maka lakukan konversi hak dan pendaftaran tanahnya, hingga terbit sertipikat hak atas tanah tersebut; (2) simpan baik-baik sertipikat tanahnya; (3) buat batas tanah yang jelas dan permanen; (4) dirikan bangunan dan tanam tanaman keras; (5) buat papan nama pemilik di atas lahan yang bersangkutan sebagai pemberitahuan kepada masyarakat; (6) melakukan peralihan hak atas tanah harus selalu dihadapan Pejabat Pembuat Akta Tanah (PPAT)/Notari
