Psycho-historical rivalry of complexes in mentality of the Russian autocracy

Статья посвящена оригинальной психоаналитической интерпретации становления российской государственности и самодержавия, которая ранее не проводилась в материале русского Средневековья. Автор впервые обращается к психоисторической концепции генезиса самодержавия: от формирования Московского централизованного государства до наших дней. Этот подход опирается на зарубежные психоисторические исследования, начатые Л. Де Мозом, и представляет новую и актуальную стратегию социокультурных исследований. Результаты. История страны предстает как хронология бессознательной конкуренции ведущих психических комплексов российской ментальности. Во-первых, это «новгородский комплекс неполноценности московской аристократии» - итог активного противостояния Москвы и Новгорода, вплоть до падения вечевой республики. Вторым сценарием, вытесняющим «новгородский комплекс», стал «западный комплекс превосходства». Он воспроизводил колониальное отношение империи к своей территории. Третья грань психоистории самодержавия связана с многовековым противостоянием татаро-монгольскому нашествию. Социально-политический уклад татар и других степняков очень сильно повлиял на отечественную культуру, язык и политическую традицию. Он проявился в абсолютно бессознательном комплексе «завистнического сравнения», открытом Т. Вебленом. Московская аристократия без централизованного государства вынуждена сублимировать психоисторический конфликт в форме рационализированной, православно- адаптированной идеологии. В ней была сублимирована и кочевая модель управления геополитическими пространствами, принудительно наложенная на традиционный земледельческий общинно- родовой уклад Древней и Средневековой Руси. Hydrogen production by chemical-looping reforming in a circulating fluidized bed reactor using Ni-based oxygen carriers

7 pages, 11 figures,.- Available online November 18, 2008.This work presents the experimental results obtained during auto-thermal chemical-looping reforming (CLR) in a 900 Wth circulating fluidized bed reactor under continuous operation using methane as fuel. Two oxygen carriers based on NiO and supported on γ-Al2O3 and α-Al2O3 were used during more than 50 h of operation with each oxygen carrier. During operation the effect of different operating variables, like fuel reactor temperature, H2O/CH4 molar ratio and solid circulation rate, on CH4 conversion and gas product distribution was analyzed. It was found that in all operating conditions CH4 conversion was very high (>98%) and the most important variable affecting to the gas product distribution was the solid circulation rate, that is, NiO/CH4 molar ratio. Similar gas product distribution was obtained working with both oxygen carriers although at different NiO/CH4 molar ratios. The oxygen carrier of NiO on α-Al2O3 needed lower NiO/CH4 molar ratio to reach the same gas product composition than the oxygen carrier of NiO on γ-Al2O3. Working at optimal operating conditions, 2.5 moles of H2 per mol of CH4 could be obtained in this process. During operation the oxygen carrier particles maintained their physical and chemical properties. These results suggest that these oxygen carriers could have a high durability, being suitable oxygen carriers for a CLR system. © 2008 Elsevier B.V. International Student Mobility: An Identity Development Task?

Based on the review of literature on internationalization of education and on identity formation pro cesses in young adults, this cross - sectional study aims to investigate to which extent self - perceived dimensions of identity are associated to the main moti vations to study abroad. The participants in this study were 429 international university students of different nationalities. Findings revealed that the motivation to study abroa d for personal growth is strongly associated to the commitment and in - depth e xploration identity processes, whereas the motivation to study abroad with the aim of changing life style and enlarging job opportunities is positively associated with reconsideration of commitment and in - depth exploration. Furthermore, identity achieved s tudents showed the highest motivation to s tudy abroad for personal growth, while the motivation to study abroad to positively change life - styles and work conditions is strongly associated with the positive facet of identity crisis, which is otherwise calle d searching - moratorium status. Объектом исследования в работе является: оценка персонала, как инструмент управления персоналом ООО «Газпром межрегионгаз Новосибирск» филиал в г. Томск. Цель работы – исследование системы оценки персонала и разработка мероприятий по ее совершенствованию для оценки персонала ООО «Газпром межрегионгаз Новосибирск». В процессе исследования проводились: анализ методов оценки персонала в ООО «Газпром межрегионгаз Новосибирск» филиал в г. Томске. В результате исследования: предложены направления совершенствования существующей системы оценки персонала компании, основанной на сочетании KPI и компетенций в компании, которая будет являться более эффективной, достоверной и гибкой, чем балльная система оценки персонала или аттестация персонала с экономической и финансовой точки зрения. Степень внедрения: запланировано внести дополнения и уточнения в существующую систему оценки персонала ООО «Газпром межрегионгаз Новосибирск» филиал в г. Томск. The antiapoptotic gene survivin is highly expressed in human chondrosarcoma and promotes drug resistance in chondrosarcoma cells in vitro

Background Chondrosarcoma is virtually resistant to chemotherapy and radiation therapy. Survivin, the smallest member of the inhibitor of apoptosis protein family, is a critical factor for tumor progression and resistance to conventional therapeutic approaches in a wide range of malignancies. However, the role of survivin in chondrosarcoma has not been well studied. We examined the importance of survivin gene expression in chondrosarcoma and analysed its influences on proliferation, apoptosis and resistance to chemotherapy in vitro. Methods Resected chondrosarcoma specimens from which paraffin-embedded tissues could be extracted were available from 12 patients. In vitro experiments were performed in human chondrosarcoma cell lines SW1353 and Hs819.T. Immunohistochemistry, immunoblot, quantitative PCR, RNA interference, gene-overexpression and analyses of cell proliferation and apoptosis were performed. Results Expression of survivin protein was detected in all chondrosarcoma specimens analyzed, while undetectable in adult human cartilage. RNA interference targeting survivin resulted in a G2/M-arrest of the cell cycle and led to increased rates of apoptosis in chondrosarcoma cells in vitro. Overexpression of survivin resulted in pronounced resistance to doxorubicin treatment. Conclusions These findings indicate that survivin plays a role in the pathogenesis and pronounced chemoresistance of high grade chondrosarcoma. Survivin antagonizing therapeutic strategies may lead to new treatment options in unresectable and metastasized chondrosarcoma
