Efforts to Increase the Cognitive and Physical Abilities of Kindergarten Students
Physical education in general is part of education. Through physical education is hoped that individual development is not only beneficial for improving psychomotor abilities, but also for cognitive and affective development, so that physical education contributes significantly to the development of all children. One form of formal education is through physical education at kindergarten. Which is part of overall education, aiming to develop aspects of physical fitness, movement skills, critical thinking skills, social skills, reasoning, emotional stability, moral action, aspects of a healthy lifestyle, and the introduction of a clean environment. The purpose of this study was to improve the cognitive and physical abilities of kindergarten students through rotating ring games at PKK Wates Bumiratu Nuban Kindergarten, Central Lampung and to improve children's learning outcomes, teachers must be skilled in teaching and also master the subject matter. The learning process requires good teaching skills because physical education learning needs movement skills and an approach model in its implementation. This type of research is classroom action research with three cycles and each cycle has different activities. The sample used in this study was a group of 32 TK PKK Wates Bumiratu Nuban Group B. Data collection in each cycle used an instrument for assessing the cognitive and physical abilities of kindergarten children. Data analysis technique using tabulation and proportion. The results of this study indicate that there is an increase in each cycle, namely: the first cycle of 25%, the second cycle of 31.25%, and the third cycle of 43.75%. Based on the analysis and discussion of the research results, it can be concluded as follows: Learning by using rotating ring games can improve the cognitive and physical abilities of the children of Group B PKK Wates Bumiratu Nuban Lampung. Learning with rotating ring games is very effective as a model of an educational approach to learning and playing for children's cognitive and physical abilities
Dribbling skills training model in football games for elementary school age
The goal achieved from this research and development is to produce a model of soccer dribbling training models for the elementary school age group. This research and development is carried out to be able to obtain information about the development and application of the football dribbling training model for the elementary school level age group. and to find out the effectiveness of the model produced. This research uses Research & Development (R & D) method from Borg and Gall. The subjects in this study were students of SD Negeri 1 Metro Barat from 30 children. The stages in this study are: needs analysis, expert evaluation (initial product evaluation), small group trials, and large group trials (testing fields). Test the effectiveness of the model. With the success of the research proven by questionnaires submitted by experts at 80%, the dribbling training model deserves to be developed in accordance with the research study of the development model of Borg and Gall. Based on the results of the development it can be concluded that: (1) With the soccer dribbling training model for elementary school level children can be developed and applied in dribbling exercises on extracurricular and learning (2) With the soccer dribbling training model for elementary school level that has been developed, there is evidence of an increase of which there are significant differences between before and after getting the model treatment
SISTEM ADMINISTRASI SQUID PROXY MENGGUNAKAN WEB
Dalam karya tulis ini dibuat sebuah tool atau alat bantu konfigurasi squid
proxy berbasis web. Pokok permasalahan yang mendasari dibuatnya tool tersebut
yaitu untuk memudahkan dan meminimalisasi kesalahan saat mengkonfigurasi
squid proxy yang berbasis text, yang notabene saat mengedit file konfigurasi
hanya menggunakan editor file secara manual.
Tool ini didukung oleh perangkat keras (Hardware) dan perangkat lunak
(Software). Untuk sistem operasi, penyusun menggunakan Fedora Core 3.0 dan
Squid sebagai objek yang diteliti. Bahasa pemrograman yang digunakan yaitu
PHP.
Langkah pertama yang harus diambil adalah menganalisa file squid.conf
dari hasil instalasi squid yang merupakan pemegang kendali konfigurasi squid.
Selanjutnya merancang form dan membuat tool berbasis web berdasarkan analisa
dengan menggunakan PHP. Untuk mengimplementasikan tool tersebut, harus
mengaktifkan service web server Apache include PHP dan Squid Proxy tentunya
Pembuatan tool ini bertujuan untuk mengedit file konfigurasi squid, yang
dalam hal ini file squid.conf dengan mudah dan lebih familiar berbasis Web
sehingga memudahkan memanajemen squid proxy disamping untuk menghindari
kesalahan dalam mengkonfigurasi squid. Selain mempermudah mengkonfigurasi,
dengan memanfaatkan service http yang digunakan web browser, memungkinkan
untuk mengakses jarak jauh “RemoteAccess” menkonfigurasi dan
mengimplementasikan Squid Proxy
PENERAPAN MODEL NUMBERED HEADS TOGETHER UNTUK MENINGKATKAN AKTIVITAS DAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA
The research were based on the low activity and the study result of the students. The aims of research were to increase activity and study result of the students through numbered heads together learning model. The method of research was Classroom Action Research that consist of  planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The instrument of data collection used observation sheet and test. Qualitative and quantitative technique were used to analyze data. The results of the research showed that the implementation of numbered heads together learning model can improve the activity and study result.Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa melalui model pembelajaran numbered heads together. Metode penelitian adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dengan tahapan setiap siklus, yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Alat pengumpul data penelitian adalah lembar observasi dan soal tes. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis kualitatif dan analisis kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran numbered heads together dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa.Kata kunci:  aktivitas siswa, hasil belajar, model pembelajaran numbered heads together
THE EFFECT OF AUDIO VISUAL ON THE STUDENTS’ LISTENING COMPREHENSION OF SMP T. P DAYA CIPTA MEDAN
Abstract
This research was aimed to find the effect of audio visual on the students’ listening comprehension of SMP Daya Cipta Medan. This research was conducted by using experimental research design. There were two groups in this research, namely experimental and control group. The data obtained from the score of the experimental class and the control class were analyzed by applying t-test formula and it was found that the students’ score taught by applying audio visual media was higher than the students’ achievement without applying audio visual. It means that the application of audio visual affects students’ listening comprehension. The result of computation of by using t-test is called t-observed. In this study, the result of computation by using t-test is 4,291 and the calculation by using t-test for degree of freedom ( df ) 34 ( Na=Nb-2=19-19-2) at the level of significant 0,05 that critical value is 1,308. The result of computation by using t-test showed observed (t-obs) is higher than t-tabel. It can be seen as follows. T – Obs > t-tabel (t=0.05) with df 19 and 4,291 > 1,308 (t=0,05) with df 19. It means that alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted
METODE ROLE PLAYING UNTUK MENINGKATKAN AKTIVITAS DAN HASIL BELAJAR
The aims of research were to increase activity and learning result by implementing role playing method. The method of research was classroom action research that consist of plans, actions, observation, and reflection. The technique of data collection used non test and test. The technique of data analysis used qualitative and quantitative analysis. The results of research showed that implementation of role playing method for thematics learning can improve activity and learning result of student.Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar dengan menerapkan metode role playing. Metode penelitian adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan tahapan setiap siklusnya, yaitu rencana, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan non tes dan tes. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode role playing dalam pembelajaran tematik dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa.Kata kunci: aktivitas, hasil belajar, role playing
Pengaruh Latihan Aerob dengan Diet Rendah Karbohidrat Terhadap Penurunan Indeks Masa Tubuh (IMT)
Indeks massa tubuh merupakan salah satu bentuk pengukuran atau metode skrining yang digunakan untuk mengukur komposisi tubuh yang diukur dengan menggunakan berat badan dan tinggi badan yang kemudian diukur dengan rumus IMT. IMT adalah nilai yang diambil dari perhitungan antara berat badan (BB) dan tinggi badan (TB) seseorang. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini yaitu, untuk mengetahui pengaruh latihan aerob dengan diet rendah karbohidrat terhadap penurunan indeks masa tubuh. Metode yang akan digunakan di dalam proposal penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan eksperimen. Hasil yang diharapkan dari penelitian ini yaitu dapat menjadi sebuah referensi bagi masyarakat luas, institusi, maupun akademisi yang bergerak dibidang keolahragaan. Dari data didapatkan Nilai rata-rata Intensitas tinggi sebesar 25,42 dan standard deviation sebesar 2,935 kemudianintensitas medium mendapatkannilai rata-rata sebesar26,40 dan standard deviation sebesar 3,554 kemudian intenitas rendah mendapatkan nilai rata-rata sebesar 26,65 dan standard deviation sebesar 532,3. Maka peneliti menyimpulkan bahwa latihan aerob dengan intensitas tinggi lebih baik dalam menurunkan indeks massa tubuh dibandingkan dengan latihan aerob intensitas medium dan latihan aerob dengan intensitas renda
Pengaruh Model Quantum Teaching terhadap Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis Peserta Didik pada Pembelajaran Matematika Kelas V SDN
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh dan perbedaan yang signifikan pada penerapan model quantum teaching terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu. Desain penelitian yang digunakan non- equivalent control grup design. Populasi penelitian berjumlah 52 orang peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik sampel jenuh. Instrumen yang digunakan soal tes uraian. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji regresi sederhana dan uji statistik t-test sparated varians. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan pada penerapan model quantum teaching terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik dengan Fhitung>Ftabel dan thitung > ttabel serta terdapat peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik dengan kategori “Sedangâ€
