Tourism planning serves as a strategic approach to mitigate and address the damage incurred by tourist attractions, such as the Tangkolak Bahari Center (TMC) mangrove ecosystem, which has experienced a loss of 2 hectares. The primary objective of this research is to formulate a zone-based tourism plan utilizing PlanetScope Dove-R sensor satellite imagery to provide spatial information specific to its application in December 2022. The methodology encompasses various techniques, including observation, structured interviews with tourists, focus group discussions involving tourism managers and local government representatives, digitization, and delineation. The result of research is Zones within the TMC tourist attractions, comprising Main and Supporting Space Plans, Primary and Secondary Circulation Plans, Avicennia, Rhizopora stylosa, and Sonneratia Conservation Vegetation Plans, as well as Plans for Nature, Conservation, Culinary Activities and Facilities, and Green Planning. Notably, the TMC tourist attraction remains viable, covering an area of 2.73 hectares in the West TMC and 1.79 hectares in the East TMC. It is imperative to underscore the importance of considering the sustainability of the mangrove ecosystem in utilizing these areas

This paper was based on primary data from Lombok squid fishermen communities. The presence of fishermanmigrants in fishing activities at salura island is very important for their livelihood. The purpose of this study wasdetermined the catch in different season influenced by the duration time of migration and fishing assets. Fishing assetsdescribed of number of fishing gear, number of boat, and number of engine. Duration time described are length of stayat located of migration and frequency of migration. Data were analyzed by regression statistic analysis. The results is thatfishing assets of fishing gear have influenced to cacth both on east monsoon and west monsoon season. Then lengthof stay at the destination of migration affect the catch too, when the squid are abundant in the east monsoon season

In order, to maintain the balance of squid resources it is necessary to evaluate the level of utilization with the ability to be used as a basic for security in sustainable resource management of squid. The purpose of this study has to determine the optimal level of resource utilization of squid on the basic of bio-economic considerations. The research was conducted at Nizam Zachman Ocean Fishing Port of Jakarta (PPSJ) and Muara Angke Port. The main focus of the research the fishermen aboard the squid nets and squid fishing line that catch the squid in FMA 718 and landed the catch in DKI Jakarta Province. Method used is the quantitative research method and case study. The management of squid resource use based on the condition of MEY has seen to provide better solution in resource management in terms of environment or community resource and economy. The utilization rate of squid fishery resources in FMA 718 since 2006 until 2015 has not been over than Total Actualy Catch (TAC), meaning the utilization of squid resources has not been overfished and can still be developed

Coastal Typology of Landform in Pelabuhan Ratu Bay, Sukabumi Regency, Jawa Barat Province

    No full text
Sukabumi Regency has potential tourism sector which encourage the use of beach attractions in Pelabuhan Ratu Bay. The main tourist attraction is the hilly and plain panorama beach. This study is aimed to analyze landform and coastal typology to support coastal tourism development. This research provides overlay method of height and slope map, field observation, and verification. Identification of coastal typology was based on coastal materials (rock types and structures), relief (slopes and altitudes), and genesis. Comparative and descriptive spatial analysis were used as method of analysis. The result showed that the coastal typology of landform of Pelabuhan Ratu Bay consisted of volcanic, marine deposition, and organic coast. The beaches such as Cibareno, Cibangban, Karang Naya, Kadaka, and Loji have volcanic coast landform with flat, wavy, sandy, rocky beach typologies. The beaches in Pelabuhan Ratu sub-district, such as Citepus, Gado Bangkong, and Karang Pamulang, have landform of marine deposition with flat and sandy beach typology. Karang Haji and Karang Hawu beaches are coral reef organic beaches. Meanwhile, estuaries were found in Cikakak estuary and Cimaja beaches. The existence of beach tourism in Pelabuhan Ratu Bay is dominated by rocky sandy beaches and flat reliefs strongly support the development of coastal ecotourism
