    Aktivitas Anti Fungi Ekstrak Etanol Daun Sembukan (Paederia Foetida L) Terhadap Candida Albicans

    Sembukan (Paederia foetida L) contain flavonoid and terpenoid which property as antifungal. The aim of this research was to prove the activity of antifungal against Candida albicans and its Thin Layer Cromatography profile. In this research the extraction was done by maseration method with 96% ethanol solvent.The ethanol extract was diluted using 10% Dimethylsulfoxide (DMSO) solvent until 1%, 10% and 100% concentrations. Antifungal activity test was done by diffusion method and Thin Layer Cromatography (TLC) method was done to identify the flavonoid,and terpenoid compounds. The result of antifungal activity test exhibited that the ethanol extract of sembukan leaves have no antifungal activity toward Candida albicans. The result of TLC showed that the ethanol extract of sembukan leafs contain of flavonoid and terpenoid compounds.     A research on antibacterial activity of ginger extract gel was done to know antibacterial activity of gel of ginger extract against Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Bacillus subtilis. In this research extraction was done by maseration method with 70% ethanol as solvent. Antibacterial activity test used diffusion method. Gel was tested pHysical properties for organoleptic, pH, and viscosity. Volatile oil and flavonoid compound were identified by TLC method. The viscosity data was analyzed by two way anava test with 95% significance level continued by LSD. The diameter of clear zone was analyzed by one anava with 95% significance level continued by LSD. Ginger extract is stable organolepticcally and pH for 28 days storage, but viscosity of gels decreases by time. The result showes that ginger extract gel has antibacterial activity against P. aeruginosa, but does not have antibacterial activity against B. subtilis.     One is the use of traditional medicine in treating sleep, plants are often used empirically by the public and efficacious as a sedative is spinach (Ipomoea aquatic Forsk) the genus Ipomoea containing an derivative compounds Lisergic acid known efficacious as halusinergik. Sweet potato (Ipomoea batatas L) is a genus of plants with kale, so this study examined the effects of sedation of sweet potato leaves. This study had aims to prove the sedation effect of ethanol extract of leaves of sweet potato in DDY. Type of research method was experimental study with posttest only control group design and data analysis,the methode used is the one way ANOVA. In this study made 6 positive controls phenobarbital treatment are 54.6 mg/kgBW, negative control 1% Na CMC, the treatment of ethanol extract of sweet potato leaves 95.5 mg/kgBW: 191 mg/kgBW; 382 mg/kgBW and 573 mg/kgBW rotarod method and observing traction changes in pupil diameter and reflexes behind the body. From the test results sedation are known that the largest sedation effect is obtained at a dose of 573 mg/kgBW. The test results are analyzed with ANOVA sedation in one direction with a 95% confidence level and followed by BNT using Tukey HSD test. The test results show ANOVA there are significant differences between treatment of each dosage with a positive control. Smallest Real Differences test results are known that sedative effects of ethanol extract of sweet potato leaves at dosage of 382 mg/kgBW and the dose of 573 mg/kgBW have no significant difference with the positive control, while the dose of ethanol extract of sweet potato leaves 95.5 mg/kgBW and 191 mg/kgBW show a significant difference with positive control. It is shown that the potential of ethanol extract of sweet potato leaves at dosage of 382 mg/kgBW and the dosage of 573 mg/kgBW is equivalent to a positive control. Ethanol extract of leaves of sweet potato (Ipomoea batatas L) gives sedation effect in mice at doses of 382 mg/kgBW and 573 mg/kgBW as the positive control phenobarbital dose of dose 54.6 mg/kgBB.     Has done research on the level of consumer satisfaction in the district of Banjarnegara pharmacies. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of consumer satisfaction in pharmacies Banjarnegara district. This research is descriptive analytical model with the observational approach. Sampling for this study using random sampling method with sample areas totaling 400 people of consumers. Methods of data collection is done by using a questionnaire and analyzed by the method of customer satisfaction index (CSI). The analysis showed the value of customer satisfaction index (CSI) on the dimensions of 0.8324 Responsiveness including categories very satisfied, on the assurance dimension of 0.8242 including the category of very satisfied, on the dimensions of reliability of 0.7189, including categories of content, on tangible dimension of 0 , 7704 including the categories of satisfaction and the dimensions of empathy for 0.6194 categorized quite satisfied. CSI overall value of 0.695 is in the range of values from 0.66 to 0.80 are categorized as satisfied. Levels of consumer satisfaction pharmacy Banjarnegara District is satisfied.     Efek Hair Tonic Buah Mengkudu (Morinda Citrifolia L) Dan Uji Fitokimianya

    The aim of this study is to prove whether ethanolic extract of Morinda can increase rabbit hair growth. The secondary metabolites of Morinda which stimulate rabbit hair growth are probably alkaloid, saponin and flavonoid. The extract was made by soxhletation of Morinda used ethanol 96 % as solvent, then it was thickened by water bath. The rabbit back was shaved into 2 cm square box. The first area treated ethanol 96 % as negative control, the second area treated with 12,5 % ethanol extract of Morinda, the third area treated with 25 % ethanol extract of Morinda, the fourth area treated with kina hair tonic as positive control. The measurement of hair growth was done every 3 days for 18 days. The daily average of hair growth was analyzed with anova and continued with Tukey test at 95 % significancy level.     Dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF) which is transmitted through the bite of mosquito Aedes aegypti and Aedes albopictus females still becomes a health problem, especially in Indonesia. Repellant is used to avoid interference or bite of the Aedes aegypti mosquito. The purposes of this research are to determine the repellency of the ethanolic extract of betel leaf lotion with lanolin variation as a basis toward Aedes aegypti, to determine whether the ethanolic extract of piper betel leaves lotion with lanolin variation as a basis irritate the test animals or not, and to compare the influence of lanolin concentration toward physical characteristic of lotion. Piper betel leaves extracted with 96% ethanol, using reflux. The ethanolic extract of piper betel leaves used in the formula lotion is 5%. This lotion was made into 3 formula with lanolin concentration difference 3%, 4% and 5%. Lotion ethanolic extract of piper betel leaves had been made then evaluated physically, repellency and irritation. Dispersive and viscosity of the lotion will determine the convenience of the use by human. Differences of lanolin concentration in each formula lotion, greatly affect the viscosity, dispersive, adhesion and repellency each formula. Repellency lotion ethanolic extract of piper betel leaves is 88% in 11 minutes. The primary irritation index lotion ethanolic extract of piper betel leaves is 0,33. Concentration of lanolin is proportional to the lotion repellant the ethanolic extract of piper betel leaves. The primary irritation index lotion ethanolic extract of piper betel leaves is 0,33 or few stimulating. Concentration of lanolin inversely to the value of dispersive, but it is directly proportional to the value of adhesion and viscosity lotion.     The research aims to study the provision of plant growth regulator (PGR) from banana weevil and shoots on the growth of oil palm seeds (Elaeis guineensis Jacq) in the main-nursery. The experiment was conducted in a greenhouse of Faculty of Agriculture, University of Riau in October 2013 to January 2014. Testing in the form an experiment using Completely Randomize Design (CRD) that consists of 3 treatment (without PGR, PGR of the bananas weevil: 75 ml and PGR of the bamboo sprout : 75 ml), every treatment repeated 4 times. Parameter that observed are high quality seeds, the number of leaves and the diameter weevil. Results of the study showed that the original PGR of bamboo sprout and bananas weevil influential was real increase seeds, the number of foot and mouth diameter weevil that without PGR. The original PGR of bamboo sprout increase each parameter higher than PGR of the bananas weevil

    Aktivitas Antijamur Ekstrak Etanol Soxhletasi Dan Maserasi Daun Mimba (Azadirachta Indica) Terhadap Candida Albicans

    Research on antifungal activity of ethanolic extract of nimba leaves (Azadirachta indica) against Candida albicans were done using dilution method. Extracts were produced from two different extraction method i.e. soxhlet and maceration using ethanol 70% as solvent. Determination of compounds contained in extracts used Thin Layer Chromatography. The research resulted that soxhlet and maceration extract of nimba leaves showed antifungal activity against Candida albicans. Soxhlet extracts exhibited higher activity than maceration extract to inhibit Candida albicans. Thin Layer Chromatography revealed that maceration and soxhlet extracts contained flavonoid, tannin and saponin.
