Identifikovanie, analyzovanie a monitorovanie podnikových rizík umožňuje manažmentu pôsobiť proti krízovému vývoju. Účelom bežne používaných metód hodnotenia ekonomickej kondície podniku je zvyčajne zvýšiť či ochrániť hodnotu pre vlastníka podniku, a nie sledovať podnikové riziká či symptómy podnikovej krízy. Predkladáme systém základných ukazovateľov pre posudzovanie ekonomickej bezpečnosti prevádzkovateľa verejnej autobusovej dopravy z oblastí výkonových, nákladových a výsledkových ukazovateľov. Je vytvorený metódou identifikácie podnikových rizík, Ishikawa diagram, pričom v sebe zahŕňa ukazovatele z výročných správ slovenských prevádzkovateľov hromadnej dopravy osôb.Enterprise is considered as economically secure if it maintains its stability in business processes which the enterprise performs daily. Enterprise crises are inevitable stages of business lifecycle because enterprises, just as any other systems, naturally incline to losing their stability. Therefore, it is crucial for any enterprise to identify, analyze, and monitor stability of its key elements, such as assets and business processes. Identified risks to the elements’ instability express the measure of the threat to economic security of the enterprise. Identifying, analyzing, and monitoring enterprise risks enables management to counteract crisis development. The purpose of commonly used methods to assess economic condition of an enterprise, is usually to increase or preserve shareholders’ value rather than monitoring enterprise risks or enterprise crisis symptoms. We present a system of the core indicators for assessment of economic security of a public bus transport provider from the areas of performance indicators, costs indicators, and financial ratios of enterprise. The system is constructed using a risk identification methodology, Ishikawa diagram, and it includes indicators from Slovak public bus transport providers’ annual reports
