Improving Performance through Third-Party Logistics (3PL) Providers: An Empirical Investigation of Jordanian Trading Companies
Relating to the accelerated development in the world of business, third-party logistics (3PL) providers have globally become a prevalent practice among many organizations, particularly among small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). According to extant studies, the most common four logistics services usually provided through 3PLs (outsourced) are: delivery service, supplying, warehousing, and transportation services. LOGISTIC ORGANIZATION PERSONNEL - GENERAL ISSUES
The article contains a presentation of the results of analyses of studies relating to investing in the personnel of modern organizations. Conclusions from these analyses were related to the need to improve competences by the personnel of logistics companies. The conditions of their functioning and the resulting need to improve or acquire new knowledge and qualifications by employees were emphasized. In the realities of modern battlefield, training of soldiers is crucial, therefore it is so important to develop an optimal concept of moving troops by rail transport, for exercises and training in peacetime. Using the simulation of the implementation of rail and road transport, it is possible to analyse and meet the needs of the selected relationship of individual stages of the process studied. Simulation model allows to state that it serves as an illustrative, training element and an element showing some results with changeable situations, therefore it can be a solution for training and making critical decisions for competent commanders

Crisis communication is an important element in the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic. It allows for efficient exchange of information between the government and society. The crisis situation caused by Sars-CoV-2 has a negative impact on human life and health as well as on the information environment. Managing the Intellectual Capital of an Organization
The article - based on the research - emphasizes the importance of employees in a modern organization that functions in an extremely volatile and at the same time demanding environment. Variability, combined with the processes of internationalization of a number of phenomena and requirements resulting from the Industrial Revolution 4.0, directly forces the need for continuous improvement of competences by the company's staff. On the other hand, managers should rationally use their intellectual potential in order to strengthen their position on the market and dominate the competition. It is essential to take actions aimed at encouraging employees to invest in themselves. Then there will be a mutual benefit: for a specific person and company for which he works. Creating a climate for acquiring knowledge will make an organization a learning and successful business organization. In such a company, intellectual capital management will become a process where any employee will be treated subjectively, and will be a co-creator of the success of his/her organization
Supports Used in Makeshift Reconstruction of Railway Bridges
The topic of the article concerns supports (abutments and pillars) used in makeshift reconstruction of railway bridges. The causes determining difficulties in the construction of supports for makeshift bridges are listed. The following supports are discussed in terms of construction and assembly technology: wooden supports (from the so-called cages, piles, frame and frame-pile, flat and flat and frame as well as wooden splines), steel (pile, frame), as well as concrete and reinforced concrete. Attention was drawn to the necessity of making attempts to use the remaining supports, or fragments of permanent supports to the greatest possible extent
Conceptual Analysis in the Field of Management
In the literature on the subject, the terms steering, management and control are often used interchangeably. However, in the course of the terminological analysis, the author indicated the dependencies between these concepts and defined the area of their application. The conducted research allowed for the identification of the concept of command and the area of its influence. The system of command, as a special (specific) form of management, allowed for the presentation of the entirety of the commander's purposeful activity as part of the command system. As a result of the terminological analysis, the author drew attention to the diversity of the analysed concepts, which will allow for their purposeful and proper use in research in the field of social sciences in the disciplines of safety science as well as management and quality science

Ukraine is an aviation state that has a full cycle of development and serial production of aircraft, commercial operation of civil aviation, training and retraining of professionals for the industry. The level of development of air transport determines not only the country's image, but also the sustainable development of its national economy. The article presents a structural analysis of the trends in the development of world aviation transport, as well as the economic development of aviation transport in Ukraine and its infrastructure.
