media, the media cultures and the forms of popular expression in the contemporary companies. The consideration of these and other central questions in the study of the communication and the culture constitutes a line of investigation to consolidate as horizon of strategic knowledge
in the comprehension of the media, the contents and the processes of public communication that transform the referring and cultural bosses. In this article, the scientific principles of this new perspective of analysis they are outlined, the terms and present tendencies of the academic debate, as well as the intellectual challenges of the investigation in communication in the framework of the cultural transformations initiated with the process of construction of it called global company of the information
Los conflictos de la comunicación en la sociedad de la información
In this text the autor explores the main conflicts and trends in the Information Society by developing a critical diagnosis and proposals for what can be considered civilizing challenges in the new global culture. The hypothesis of the article is that the proposals for informative democratization should first be deconstructed on the basis of integrated thought in the globalized culture and, as something complementary, should also go through the political and cultural design for the Information Society using radical methods for active participation according to the principles of what has been called the “McBride spirit”. Such conditions need to be accompanied by a different culture and style of research that the critical theory still hasn´t taken on consistently in an ecosystem marked by its complexity, and by an accelerated social change

desinterés de la academia por esta realidad, en el último lustro han tenido
lugar en Iberoamérica diferentes experiencias que apuntan la posibilidad
de recuperación del pensamiento crítico emancipador. La Economía Política
de la Comunicación o del Conocimiento debe ser capaz de imaginar otra
comunicación posible.Information-communication activities are an essential part in the economic basis
on which late-capitalism model, also called Cognitive Capitalism, is based.
Exceeding the usual lack of interest of academia in this fact, different recent
