The Interactive Data Corporative (IDC) conjectures that by 2025 the worldwide data circle will develop to 163ZB (that is a trillion gigabytes) which is ten times the 16.1ZB of information produced in 2016. The Internet of Things is one of the hot topics of this living century and researchers are heading for mass adoption 2019 driven by better than-expected business results. This information will open one of a kind of user experience and another universe of business opening. The huge information produced by the Internet of Things (IoT) are considered of high business esteem, and information mining calculations can be connected to IoT to extract hidden data from information. This paper concisely discusses the work done in sequential manner of time in different fields of IOT along with its outcome and research gap. This paper also discusses the various aspects of data mining functionalities with IOT. The recommendation for the Challenges in IOT that can be adopted for betterment is given. Finally, this paper presents the vision for how IOT will have impact on changing the distant futur

A Comparative Study on Routing schemes for Wireless Network

    Get PDF
Ubiquitous smart devices with embedded sensors are paving the way for mobile ad hoc networks (ad-hoc network) that enable users to communicate directly, thereby playing a key role in Smart City and Internet of Things applications. In such smart environments, people with smart devices (nodes) can freely self-organize and form self-configuring ad-hoc network to send and forward data packets to a destination over multiple hops via intermediate nodes. Wireless Networks includes a larger advantage in today’s communication application like environmental, traffic, military, and health observation. To realize these applications it's necessary to possess a reliable routing protocol. The main motivation of this paper is to review various routing schemes in ad-hoc network that have recently been proposed to enhance throughput when transmitting and receiving packets during active communication. The review covers various state-of-the-art protocols for each category and highlights their operation concepts, design challenges and key features. In addition, the performance evaluation metrics are also discussed

A Study of image compression based transmission algorithm Using SPIHT for low bit rate application

    Get PDF
Image compression is internationally recognized up to the minute tools for decrease the communication bandwidth and save the transmitting power. It should reproduce a good quality image after compression at low bit rates. Set partitioning in hierarchical trees (SPIHT) is wavelet based computationally very fast and among the best image compression based transmission algorithm that offers good compression ratios, fast execution time and good image quality. Precise Rate Control (PRC) is the distinct characteristic of SPIHT. Image compression-based on Precise Rate Control and fast coding time are principally analyzed in this paper. Experimental result shows that, in the case of low bit-rate, the modified algorithm with fast Coding Time and Precise Rate Control can reduce the execution time and improves the quality of reconstructed image in both PSNR and perceptual when compare to at the same low bit rate

A Study on Hybrid DC Micro-Grid System

    Get PDF
With the growing demand of electricity, deployment of microgrid is becoming an attractive option to meet the energy demands. At present, large-scale wind/solar hybrid system is of great potential for development. The large-scale wind/solar hybrid system is of higher reliability compared with wind power generation alone and solar power generation alone However, a grid connected microgrid suffers a crucial stability issues during a fault in utility grid. For stable operation of microgrid during fault in grid. In this paper transient stability of the microgrid is studied during fault in utility grid. This research work presents the design and implementation of a hybrid renewable energy system that allows a cost-efficient and sustainable energy supply of the loads. The integration of the solar system with the network is rather complex and expensive. With this construction proposal, however, it is not only possible to create an economical and simple hybrid system, but also a reliable, efficient and economical system

Light Load Path Selection Techniques for Control Congestion in MANET (ENBA)

    Get PDF
The nodes have limited bandwidth and processing capability. The routing protocols cannot handle the congestion due to heavy load in mobile ad hoc networks. Several routes are established in the network, and some intermediate nodes are common. The dynamic behaviour of the network creates problems for strong link establishment. The routing protocol establishes the connection between the sender and receiver. The efficient routing approach uses the concept of load balancing to reduce packet loss in a network. The heavy load on the network affects the node’s buffer capacity and link capacity. The research proposed the Effective Network Behavior Analyze (ENBA) for route sections to control congestion in MANET. This paper’s effort is driven by the idea of considering several aspects of the routing design of Mobile Ad hoc Networks (MANETs) in a unified manner. ENBA is a routing strategy that uses the shortest path for routing and balances the load by managing incoming and outgoing packets on links and nodes. In this routing scheme, the shortest path measures the buffer capacity of the nodes with higher TTL values selected for sending the data packets in the network. The link capacity is based on the flow of packets in the network. Queue optimisation is a continuous optimisation in which we count the number of packets incoming and decide the link reliability in a dynamic network. The performance of ENBA is compared with the Ad hoc On-demand Multipath Distance Vector -Modified (AOMDV-M) routing protocol. The ENDA strategy outperforms the competition in terms of performance over a shorter period. In the proposed technique, performance matrices like PDR, overhead, and delay provide better results than the previous AOMDV-M routing approach

Bioremediation of Chlorpyrifos Contaminated Soil by Microorganism

India is agricultural based country where 70% of the population survives on it. In order to increase the production of field various pesticides are used. Chlorpyrifos (O,O-diethyl O-3,5,6-trichloro-2-pyridyl phosphorothioate) is an organophosphate pesticide which is widely used as insecticide for crop protection. But due to its persistent nature into the environment, it is leading to various hazards including neurotoxic effects, cardiovascular diseases and respiratory diseases. Bioremediation is a technology to eliminate chlorpyrifos efficiently from the environment. In bioremediation of chlorpyrifos the potential degradative microorganisms possess opd (organophosphate degrading) gene which hydrolyses the chlorpyrifos and utilizes it as a sole carbon source. Thus the present review discusses about how through bioremediation the pesticide chlorpyrifos can be degraded using potential soil microorganisms
