Democracy and technological politic in the risk society

New technologies generate risks, for the evaluation of which various mechanisms have been developed; the most frequent of these mechanisms consists of advice from committees of experts to the bodies whose role is to decide whether a new technology should be implemented or not. Such committees try to measure the magnitude of the threats that accompany the introduction of a new technology in order that the policy-makers may take their decisions in the light of the reports of the experts. The legitimacy of such reports is not only found in the technical capacity of its authors, but also in the impartiality of their recommendations. On numerous occasions, nevertheless, the effective presence of this evaluation finds itself today under suspicion. There are various methods that can be employed to try to resolve this problem. Firstly by reinforcing the mechanisms on which the technocratic evaluation of the risk are based; for example, through transparency in the selection of the experts. Secondly, by means of the incorporation of democratic mechanisms in the scientific-technological policy. The exposure of the internal conditions to the dynamics of the technological change that make possible the institutionalised involvement of society in the control of risk, as well as of the mechanisms to realise it are the principal subjects of this work

Proyecto de mejora del curso virtual de la asignatura Teoría del Derecho

os profesores de esta red de innovación docente hemos tratado de determinar los más importantes obstáculos al aprendizaje en el ámbito de la enseñanza a distancia para intentar contrarrestarlos en nuestra asignatura. Advertir las tendencias que amenazan el éxito de este tipo de enseñanza puede permitir a los docentes tratar de evitarlas a través de los distintos materiales educativos y recursos de todo tipo incluidos en los cursos virtuales. Una de las funciones más importantes que tienen que cumplir los cursos virtuales consiste en generar un ámbito comunitario de aprendizaje que evite la sensación de soledad que asalta en numerosas ocasiones a los estudiantes a distancia que no pueden acudir a las tutorías en los Centros Asociados. La oferta de materiales y recursos para la formación debe hacerse teniendo en cuenta además las diferentes maneras de aprender de los individuos. Esto significa que es preciso proporcionar a los estudiantes más de una vía para llegar al conocimiento de la asignatura, así como distintas formas de autoevaluación. Los estudiantes pueden mejorar su dinámica de aprendizaje si conocen los elementos que condicionan esa dinámica en cada caso particular.The teachers of this teaching innovation network have tried to determine the most important obstacles to learning in the field of distance education in order to try counteract them in our subject. It is useful to note the difficulties that threaten the success of this type of education in order for the teaching team try to avoid them through the different educational materials and resources of all kinds including virtual courses. One of the most important functions which have to comply with the virtual courses is to build a community of learning that avoid the feeling of loneliness that assails many times students who can not go to the tutoring in the associated centres. The supply of materials and resources for education should be done taking into account also the different ways to learn from individuals. This means that we need to provide students more than one way to arrive at the knowledge of the subject, as well as distinct forms of self-assessment. Tercer proyecto de mejora del curso virtual de la asignatura Teoría del Derecho

Los profesores que hemos trabajado en esta red de innovación docente hemos pretendido reconocer los condicionantes más importantes para el éxito de la enseñanza universitaria en general así como de la semipresencial con el fin de determinar después las actividades más eficaces para que los estudiantes adquieran, a través del curso virtual, los conocimientos y actitudes requeridos en el Espacio Europeo de Educación Superior. El curso virtual puede llegar a los estudiantes en cualquier rincón del mundo y puede integrar toda clase de instrumentos y actividades. Ofrece también la posibilidad de facilitar recursos para la evaluación de los procesos de aprendizaje, entendida la auto-evaluación como un hecho trasversal a todas las actividades formativas. El curso virtual puede alcanzar una gran versatilidad y puede ser la vía más efectiva para responder a las particulares necesidades de cada estudiante así como para ayudar al alumnado a vencer los obstáculos que le dificultan alcanzar sus objetivos de formación en el ámbito de enseñanza universitaria semipresencial. Con este fin se facilita a los estudiantes la posibilidad de crear, a través de los foros, distintos grupos en los que se potencia el aprendizaje participativo. Junto a materiales más o menos tradicionales como videoclases, resúmenes, esquemas, glosarios, los cursos virtuales pueden incluir también materiales que acercan a la materia, en nuestro caso la Teoría del Derecho, a través del juego.Teachers who have worked on this network of educational innovation have pretended to recognize most important factors for the success of university education as well as the high blended education in order to determine the most effective activities in order to students can acquire, through the virtual course, knowledge, and attitudes that are required in the European Space of Higher Education. The virtual course can reach students anywhere in the world and can integrate all kinds of instruments and activities. It also offers the possibility of providing resources for the evaluation of learning processes, understood the self-assessment as a transversal to all training activities. The virtual course can reach great versatility and can be the most effective way to respond to the specific needs of each student as well as to help students overcome the obstacles that hinder them to achieve their educational goals in the field of high blended education. To this end, it provides students the ability to create, through the forums, different groups in which enhances the participatory learning. Una teoría de la justicia: Nietzsche contra la dignidad humana como fundamento de la comunidad política

La moderna sociedad burguesa contiene para Nietzsche elementos que amenzan con provocar una reordenación total de la política y la sociedad en sentido igualitario. Con el objetivo de contribuir a frustrar el desarrollo de la cultura alemana en esa dirección -y basándose en su reconstrucción personal de la metafísica de Schopenhauer- expone la necesidad de someter políticamente a la mayoría de los seres humanos en favor de unos pocos liberados de la lucha por la existencia, así como de configurar el Estado de manera militarista. El fin de esta utopía consiste en llegar a hacer posible, entre algunos escogidos, una forma de vida en la cual no impere ya la racionalidad instrumental.
