Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah: (1) Menyelidiki pengaruh penggunaan Elektroliser Kawat Tembaga terhadap konsumsi bahan bakar pada sepeda motor Yamaha Mio 2010. (2) Menyelidiki pengaruh variasi larutan terhadap konsumsi bahan bakar pada sepeda motor Yamaha Mio 2010. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Bengkel Otomotif Pendidikan Teknik Mesin Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Sebelas Maret Surakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan sepeda motor Yamaha Mio tahun 2010 dengan nomor mesin 28D-2105099. Taknik analisa data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen dengan analisis data deskriptif. Data diperoleh dengan cara mengukur tingkat konsumsi bahan bakar sepeda motor. Dari hasil perhitungan tingkat konsumsi bahan bakar dibuat diagram batang untuk menganalisisnya. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa: (1) Tingkat konsumsi bahan bakar premium pada sepeda motor Yamaha Mio tahun 2010 yang tidak menggunakan elektroliser adalah sebesar 12,93 ml/menit. (2) Tingkat konsumsi bahan bakar premium pada sepeda motor Yamaha Mio tahun 2010 menggunakan elektroliser dengan variasi larutan NaHCO3 sebesar 12,46 ml/menit maka terjadi penurunan konsumsi bahan bakar premium 0,47 ml/menit dibandingkan pengujian konsumsi bahan bakar premium tanpa menggunakan elektroliser. (3) Tingkat konsumsi bahan bakar premium pada sepeda motor Yamaha Mio tahun 2010 menggunakan elektroliser dengan variasi larutan KOH sebesar 12,33 ml/menit maka terjadi penurunan konsumsi bahan bakar premium 0,6 ml/menit dibandingkan pengujian konsumsi bahan bakar premium tanpa menggunakan elektroliser. (4) Tingkat konsumsi bahan bakar premium pada sepeda motor Yamaha Mio tahun 2010 menggunakan elektroliser dengan variasi larutan NaOH sebesar 11,66 ml/menit maka terjadi penurunan konsumsi bahan bakar premium 1,27 ml/menit dibandingkan pengujian konsumsi bahan bakar premium tanpa menggunakan elektroliser. (5) Penggunaan Elektroliser pada sepeda motor mempengarui tinggkat konsumsi bahan bakar, dengan kata lain terjadi proses penghematan bahan bakar pada sepeda motor yang menggunakan elektroliser. The research uses Yamaha Mio 2010 motorcycle with engine serial number: 28D-2105099. Data analysis technique uses in this research is experiment method with descriptive data analysis. Data acquired by assessing fuel’s consumption level of motorcycle. From assessing results of fuel consumption level then presented in bar chart to analysis. Research results showing that: (1) Fuel consumption level of premium in Yamaha Mio 2010 motorcycle doesn’t use electrolyzer as 12,93 ml/minutes, (2) Fuel consumption level of premium in Yamaha Mio 2010 motorcycle using electrolyzer with NaHCO3 solution variation is 12,46 ml/minutes, there is a consumption level decreasing as 0,47 ml/minutes compared with premium fuel consumption level examining without electrolyzer, (3) Fuel consumption level of premium in Yamaha Mio 2010 motorcycle using electrolyzer with KOH solution variation is 12,33 ml/minutes, there is a consumption level decreasing as 0,6 ml/ minutes compared with premium fuel consumption level examining without electrolyzer, (4) Fuel consumption level of premium in Yamaha Mio 2010 motorcycle using electrolyzer with NaOH solution variation is 11,66 ml/minutes, there is a consumption level decreasing as 1,27 ml/minutes compared with premium fuel consumption level examining without electrolyzer, (5) using of electrolyzer in motorcycle influencing the level of fuel consumption, in the other words, it occurring the process of fuel saving in motorcycle using electrolyzer.
