    Developing the overall marketing strategy for Small Portuguese Hotels in the Spanish market

    This study’s purpose was to develop a successful marketing strategy for Small Portuguese Hotels (SPH) in the Spanish market and provide the start-up with recommendations on both tactical and operational level. Various theoretical models have been applied that when used all together, substantiated by an extensive literature framework, fulfil the process of developing a marketing strategy in a successful way which is needed to succeed as a company nowadays. The concluded marketing strategy for SPH has been based on all data gathered throughout the entire study, consisting of both desk and field research. In terms of field research, an online survey was conducted among Spaniards as part of the customer analysis. Besides, an interview has been held with Mrs. Rita Alves Machado as part of the internal analysis and several SPH employees have participated in several questionnaires needed to design the most relevant framework for SPH when qualifying different strategic options to eventually find the best fitting marketing strategy: ‘Before targeting the promising Spanish market, SPH should achieve its short-term goals and improve day-to-day business. Besides, before moving to the Spanish market, SPH needs a complete and clear marketing, sales and social media plan that can straight be implemented and will strongly position SPH in the Spanish market to expand its existing Portuguese customer base.’ The complete and clear marketing, sales and social media plan comprise the recommendations on both tactical and operational level.Este estudo focou-se no desenvolvimento de uma estratégia de marketing sustentável para a Small Portuguese Hotels (SPH) no mercado espanhol e direcionar a start-up tanto a nível estratégico como operacional. Foram aplicados vários modelos teóricos que, utilizados em conjunto, e fundamentados por uma extensa revisão de literatura, completam o desenvolvimento de uma estratégia de marketing bem-sucedida, necessária para o sucesso de qualquer empresa atualmente. A estratégia resultante foi fundamentada pelos dados recolhidos ao longo de todo o estudo, consistindo em pesquisa documental e trabalho de campo. Em termos da pesquisa realizada em trabalho de campo, foi realizado um questionário online a pessoas de nacionalidade espanhola como análise do cliente. Adicionalmente, foi realizada uma entrevista com a Rita Alves Machado no âmbito da análise interna e com todos os colaboradores da SPH, que participaram em vários questionários, necessários para delinear o quadro mais relevante para a empresa no apuramento de diferentes opções estratégicas e, eventualmente, encontrar a melhor estratégia de marketing pretendida: "Antes de se focar no promissor mercado espanhol, a SPH deve alcançar os seus objetivos de curto prazo e de gestão do dia-a-dia. Adicionalmente, antes de entrar no mercado espanhol, a SPH necessita de um plano completo e claro de marketing, vendas e redes sociais que possa ser implementado eficazmente, que posicionará fortemente a SPH no mercado espanhol para expandir a sua base de clientes portugueses existente." Globalisasi hukum akan mempengaruhi pendekatan negara maju serta pengaturan investasi, perdagangan, jasa dan sektor ekonomi lainnya di negara berkembang. Globalisasi hukum ada juga yang menyebutnya sebagai reformasi hukum lintas batas komersial, namun perlu untuk dicatat bahwa apa pun istilah yang dilekatkan pada globalisasi hukum itu, ia pada intinya hendak menegaskan bahwa disamping hukum nasional suatu negara bangsa berkembang suatu hukum-hukum yang melampaui batas-batas kedaulatan negara bangsa.Dunia pada saat ini telah memasuki globalisasi yang amat pesat. Kultur budaya dari berbagai negara lain dengan mudah masuk ke dalam suatu negara. Keadaan demikian menimbulkan adanya culture shock yang mempengaruhi sosial suatu negara. Hal ini terjadi menggelobal di seluruh belahan dunia manapun dan dinegara manapun seperti tanpa batas berkembangnya dan terampaikannya berbagai informasi dikarenakan pengaruh globalisasi informasi ini. Perkembangan dunia teknologi yang semakin pesat mengakibatkan hubungan hukum di tengah-tengah masyarakat yang menimbulkan berbagai kejahatan dan kegiatan hukum lainnya yang belum ada pengaturannya dikarenakan modus yang digunakan adalah modus-modus baru kejahatan dalam dunia hukum. atas hubungan hukum tersebut dunia teknologi atau cybermaya sangat rentan terhadap penyalahgunaan hukum dengan lahirnya kejahatan-kejahatan baru maka diperlukan juga pengaturan baru yang mengaturnya.     Understanding phoneme segmentation performance by analyzing abilities and word properties

    Several studies have demonstrated the relationship between phoneme segmentation ability and early reading performance, but so far it is unclear which abilities are involved, and which word properties contribute to the difficulty level of a segmentation task. Using a sample of 596 Dutch children, we investigated the abilities involved in segmenting the phonemes of 45 pseudowords that differed with respect to several properties. First, we found that a combination of short-term memory and speech perception explained variation in segmentation performance. Second, we found that a limited number of word property effects explained the difficulty level of pseudowords rather well. Finally, we constructed a high-reliability scale for measuring segmentation ability. </jats:p

    Need for Prioritizing Health: An Old War-Cry Reiterated By COVID-19

    The poor state of health care in Nepal will be burdened further following the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic. The government failed in timely stockpiling of medical supplies and equipment, development of health infrastructure, including laboratories and quarantine centres, restriction and screening of international travel and information dissemination to the general public. While efforts have now been made to increase the capacity for diagnostic test for SARS-CoV-2, the government still needs to further increase the availability and accessibility throughout the country. This would be the first step in fighting the pandemic. However, it is also important to prepare for the worst case. Similarly, advocacy programs should be developed to inform the general public and alleviate their fears about the disease. These measures would not only help Nepal’s capability to respond to the COVID-19 outbreak but could lay the foundations to improve the health of the citizens in general, even after this epidemic is controlled and could go a long way in developing trust of the government in the populace
