    The Political Dimension in Arab Contemporary Art through the Marcuse Aesthetic Theory: A Descriptive Analytical Study

    This paper discusses the political dimension in Arab contemporary art based on the Marcuse aesthetic theory. The researchers believe there is a high correlation between Arab contemporary art and Marcuse aesthetic theory when the three main axes of this theory are tested and reflected on contemporary Arab artworks (study sample). This study attempts to describe and analyze the artworks (study sample) and link this analysis to Marcuse theory. The study sample contains three Arab contemporary artworks from 2010-2015 to clarify the political dimension in Arab contemporary art in accordance with the Marcuse aesthetic theory. The findings prove strong correlations between Arab contemporary art and Marcuse aesthetic theory

    This paper discusses the influence of the political situations on changing the idea in the material used in contemporary installation art in the Arab region. There was a change in the idea of the Arabic artworks which used the same material as in other global artworks but with a different idea. The study compared artworks (study sample) and global artworks that used the same material. The study sample contained two Arabic contemporary installation artworks from 2010 -2015 to confirm if political situations were the reason for this change in idea. The findings proved the influence of these political situations on changing the idea in Arabic contemporary installation art

    This paper is aiming to study the current situation of the existing virtual space in the market in order to find out the demands of virtual spaces in our society based on the comparison between the advantages and disadvantages of virtual spaces. Besides, the authors will also observe the needs, demands and rationales of developing virtual spaces according to its functions and contributions in different fields, especially in art education and tourism. The targeted articles are selected based on the mutual discussions regarding the advantages and disadvantages of the existing virtual platforms by Alawad et al. (2015), Burton (2010) and Eardley et al .(2016)
