The best sextic approximation of hyperbola with order twelve
In this article, the best uniform approximation for the hyperbola of degree 6 that has approximation order 12 is found. The associated error function vanishes 12 times and equioscillates 13 times. For an arc of the hyperbola, the error is bounded by 2:4 x 10-4. We explain the details of the derivation and show how to apply the method. The method is simple and this encourages and motivates people working in CG and CAD to apply it in their works
Rules and Ethics of Hospitality in Islam
Hospitality is one of the good values and ethics of Islam. This study identifies the definition of hospitality ,its values ,rules, ethics of the host and the guest as well as its impact on the Muslim community . In addition, this research addresses some verses from the holy Quran, traditions and sayings  pertaining to hospitality of the Sunnah of the prophet (PUH).It also discusses the importance of hospitality to present society This research consists of an introduction, four sections and a conclusion Hospitality, honoring the guest, Ethics,  Islamic La
Hydroponics Removal of Wastewater’s Contaminants for the Generation of Commercially Valuable Plants and Environmentally Sound Effluent for The Dead Sea Communities
The purpose of this article is to investigate the applications of hydroponic wastewater management systems (HWMS) as wastewater treatment facilities for the Dead Sea vicinity. In addition, it aims at managing the wastewater through generating commercially valuable plants using a proposed HWMS. A commercial hydroponic system was adapted for studying the potential heavy metals removal from primary treated municipal sewage effluent. The system consisted of five plastic gullies, 3 meters long by 100 mm wide. Primary treated effluent was used to irrigate lettuce in one series, and a commercial nutrient solution was used to irrigate the same type of lettuce in another series as a control, both by Nutrient Film Technique (NFT). Lettuces accumulated heavy metals in leaf tissues at concentrations higher than the maximum recommended levels (As = 6.5, Cd = 3.8, Pb = 20 mg kg-1). The hypothetical hydroponic systems may be suitable for the Dead Sea specific conditions where the plentiful salt tolerant plant species may be utilized to manage effluent that would not be safely applied for crop irrigation
Conformable chebyshev differential Equation of first kind
In this paper, the Chebyshev-I conformable differential equation is considered. A proper power series is examined; there are two solutions, the even solution and the odd solution. The Rodrigues’ type formula is also allocated for the conformable Chebyshev-I polynomials
The Translation of Al-Haramain (the Two Holy Mosques) Fridays’ Sermons Is Unplanned Language Planning (Management)
This research has studied the project of translating Al -Haramain Al Shareefain (the Two Holy Mosques) Fridays’ sermons (Jomaa Khutbahs) from Arabic into English from language planning perspectives with its relation to translation, which has been launched by the General Presidency of the Two Holy Mosques and Al- Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University represented by the College of Languages and Translation in May 2013. This study has investigated these sermons from the language planning perspectives with its relation to translation. It has identified that the translation of Fridays’ sermons has resulted in an unplanned (indeliberate) language planning process by reviving the archaic and obsolete Arabic words. Translating Fridays’ sermons has led to reusing and disseminating these obsolete words that have not been used for along time
An investigation into the strategic competence of Arab learners of English at Jordanian universities
PhD ThesisThis thesis is a qualitative study of the strategic competence of Arab English majors
at Yarmouk University in Jordan. Its aim is to fill the gap found in communication
strategy (CS) research, which has at present little relevance to the Jordanian situation.
Its main aim is to determine which communication strategies (CSs) are used by
English majors while communicating in Ll Arabic and L2 English. Furthermore,
since meaning is very important in language teaching, it aims to examine whether the
messages transmitted by the learners are successful and comprehensible or not. This
will increase our knowledge of how and by means of which strategies Arab English
majors overcome their communication problems, and which strategies they use in
communicating in their native language. The subjects of the study are 30 English
majors at Yarmouk University, a typical Jordanian university, put into three
proficiency levels according to an adapted TOEFL test. The sample represents a full
range of English majors' ability at the English Department of the same university.
Their ages range from 19-23. ... The main finding of the research is that English majors make wide use of CSs. These
strategies are mostly L2- English based strategies. Another finding is that in spite of
their limited linguistic knowledge, English majors manage to communicate their
intended meaning by making use of CSs. It is also found that the learners' use of CSs
is related to their proficiency level, in that Ll-Arabic based strategies decrease as
proficiency improves. One of the most interesting additional findings is the effect of
the mother tongue/Arabic which increases the variety of strategy use. For example,
literal translation and word coinage are widely influenced by mother tongue
interference. It is found that Arabic speakers use many communication strategies
when compared with speakers of other languages in CS research. The subjects' use of
CSs is also related to the type of task they are performing. Finally, Arab learners use
CSs in their native language, but when compared to the CSs used in their target
language, these are fewer in terms of frequency and vary in terms of type.
Pedagogical implications and recommendations for further research are presented in
light of the findings
Sources of Social Cognitive Support and the Prevention of Drugs among Adolescent Students
This study aimed to investigate the sources of social cognitive support and the prevention of drugs among a sample of (20) male and female students at the secondary schools in Jordan. To achieve the aim of this study the researcher adopted the qualitative approach through organized interviews with the sample. The findings showed that students have the knowledge about drugs, its types and negative affects on both individual and community. Moreover, there are (9) sources for social cognitive support arranged descending as follows: parents, teacher, media and social media, peers, school media, curriculum, psychological counselor, seminars, conferences and reading. The findings showed that (80%) of the sample confirmed that there is no drugs phenomenon in their schools. Finally, the study presented several suggestions to students for the prevention from substances and drugs related to self, family, school, media and organizations in the community
The best quintic Chebyshev approximation of circular arcs of order ten
Mathematically, circles are represented by trigonometric parametric equations and implicit equations. Both forms are not proper for computer applications and CAD systems. In this paper, a quintic polynomial approximation for a circular arc is presented. This approximation is set so that the error function is of degree rather than ; the Chebyshev error function equioscillates times rather than ; the approximation order is rather than . The method approximates more than the full circle with Chebyshev  uniform error of . The examples show the competence and simplicity of the proposed approximation, and that it can not be improved
