One of the main conditions for the formation of professional and pedagogical competence of the future teacher of geography is industrial practice, which is the most important component of the pedagogical process in higher education as a holistic, open, self-organized. Pedagogical practice is a system-forming element of the basic training of future teachers of geography, which provides the transformation of theoretical knowledge into practice and implements the main professional function of the teacher ‒ «essential ability to create another

Features of the geological and geomorphological structure of the accumulative formations of the North Pryazovia

    Get PDF
The modern geomorphological appearance of the northern coast of the Sea of Azov was formed during the last 2 thousand years under the conditions of modern neotectonics, intensive hydrodynamic regime, and abrasion and accumulative processes. At the same time, most of the accumulative forms of the Northern Pryazovia region – sea spits – were formed. In geomorphological terms, the spits of the northern coast of the Sea of Azov are lowlands, in the form of sandy and shell peninsulas, which wedge deeply into the water area of the Sea of Azov at an angle of about 45° to the conventional coastline. These spits are oriented in the northeastern and southwestern directions. The generalization of the results obtained in the course of the research made it possible to establish the main features of the geological and geomorphological structure of the accumulative forms of the North Pryazovia, in connection with the geological structure and marine hydrometeorological conditions; to develop a generalized scheme of morphogenetic dissection of "Azov type" spits

Innovative Approaches to Ensuring the Quality of Education, Scientific Research and Technological Processes. 3.6.14 The use of modern innovative educational technologies in the school course of geography

Geographical education of the school is aimed at forming in students a spatial idea of the earth’s surface and the development of skills to consciously navigate the socio-economic, socio-political and environmental events taking place in the state and the world. Informatization of the educational process significantly affects the content, organizational forms and methods of teaching and management of educational and cognitive activities, and causes significant changes in the activities of students. Thanks to the use of multimedia, interactive technologies, the Internet, the possibilities of a modern lesson are significantly expande

Limited natural resources are now becoming one of the most acute environmental problems. Solving environmental management tasks requires not only knowledge of the functioning of ecological systems, but also a certain moral education and awareness of the need to restructure social production and consumption. Environmental monitoring allows you to quantify all of the negative processes in nature that cause human activity. It also allows you to see the positive results of environmental measures

Environmental Consequences of the Explosion of the Kahovsky Hydroelectric Plant on Biodiversity

The purpose of this article is to determine the ecological consequences of the explosion of the Kakhovka hydroelectric plant (southern Ukraine) on the biological diversity of the region. The main research methods were: theoretical generalization and system-functional approach, analysis, synthesis, expedition method. Results. The ecological consequences of the destruction of a hydroelectric dam are divided into two types: drainage and flooding. As a result of the flooding, 48 objects of the nature reserve fund, with a total area of 120 thousand hectares, were affected. Aquatic biotopes and biotopes characteristic of overmoistened areas were the most affected by drainage. 38 rare types of biotopes, which are under the protection of the Bern Convention, were affected by the ecological disaster; wetlands of international importance (so-called Ramsar) with an area of 33,000 hectares in the Dnipro delta and seven objects of the Emerald network. Perspectives. Prospects for further research are related to the study of biotope restoration after an ecological disaster

Contemporary Issues of Digital Economy and Society. Higher education in an information society environment

    Get PDF
The main characteristic of the information society is that the majority of the population is involved in the production of knowledge. The educational level of the person plays a significant role, as the information society places high demands on both the educational level of each individual and the institute of education as a whole. Higher education is a necessary prerequisite for raising the social status and obtaining the personality of the desired place in the modern society. Thus, the center of social organization, the main social institution is the higher school as a center of production, processing and accumulation of knowledge. It should be noted that in the information society, when information becomes of higher value, and the information culture of a person – the determining factor of professional activity, requirements to the higher education system change, there is a significant increase in its status

Comparison of bicoherence on the ensemble of realizations and a selective evaluation of the bispectrum of the dynamics of dangerous parameters of the gas medium during fire

The object of the study is the bico-herence of the bispectrum assessment of the dynamics of dangerous parame-ters of the gas environment during the ignition of materials. The subject is a measure of bicoherence of the bispec-trum estimation from the ensemble of realizations and selective bispectrum estimation for the dynamics of haz-ardous parameters of the gas environ-ment. The practical importance of the research is the use of the measure of bicoherence of the bispectrum for the early detection of fires. The measure of bicoherence of the dynamics of haz-ardous parameters of the gas environ-ment is substantiated, which allows them to be numerically compared for the studied bispectrum estimates. As such measure, it is proposed to use the integral value of bicoherence for a given frequency interval, which makes it possible to numerically compare the bicoherence of bispectrum estimates for arbitrary time intervals of the dynamics of hazardous parameters of the gas environment. On the basis of the proposed measure for the frequen-cy range of 0.2–2Hz, a comparison of the integral bicoherence of the bispec-trum estimates was made. The numer-ical value of the measure was deter-mined for three fixed time intervals of the dynamics of hazardous parame-ters of the environment, corresponding to the absence of ignition, the occur-rence of ignition, and the subsequent burning of test materials in the lab-oratory chamber. According to the results of the comparison of such val-ues, it was established that the bico-herence of the bispectrum estimation from the ensemble of realizations is the most appropriate for detecting fires. When ignited, the numerical value of the measure for all test materials is about90°. This means that the nature of the dynamics of hazardous envi-ronmental parameters in the event of fires becomes random. In this regard, the proposed measure is recommend-ed to be used as a test for early detec-tion of fire

The potential of educational practices in the formation of professional competencies of future teachers of geography

The purpose of higher geographical education is the professional formation of a socially mobile and responsible graduate, able to successfully work in the field of geographical knowledge and practices, ready to continue education and engage in innovative activities based on the acquisition of universal and professional competencies. Competence should be understood as an integral quality of personality, the ability to solve problems based on knowledge, experience, motivation and values. Competence approach allows to develop criteria for assessing the quality of education in general, as well as to assess the success of the student's development of various educational task

Management and administration in the field of services: selected examples. 3.4. System and management mechanism of quality of education in a higher educational institution

It is impossible to manage the quality of education in a higher educational institution on a purely administrative basis. It requires the broad participation of all participants in the educational process. And for this it is necessary that the goals of this management and the positive result for each participant in the process of functioning of the higher educational institution are clear. Management of the quality of education is not an additional burden, but the organization of work corresponding to the quality, its technology. Quality management of education should facilitate the operation of the higher education institution, not complicate it. This is the main difficulty of the education quality management system and the essence of its design and formation
