However, the reported cDNA (AF411117) is a chimera with bases 1-127 derived from chromosome 1 and bases 155-1368 derived from chromosome 4. When corrected, QRFPR (also referred to as SP9155 or AQ27) encodes a 431 amino acid protein that shares sequence similarities in the transmembrane spanning regions with other peptide receptors. These include neuropeptide FF2 (38%), neuropeptide Y2 (37%) and galanin Gal1 (35%) receptors

However, Gq- and Gi/o-mediated signaling was also reported [11, 25]. Two naturally occurring mutations in the human QRFP receptor lead to distinct and opposite 26RFa-evoked signaling bias [20]

    Reconceptualizing Profit-Orientation in Management: A Karmic View on "Return on Investment" Calculations

    From the perspective of the present day, Puritan-inspired capitalism seems to have succeeded globally, including in India. Connected to this, short-term profit-orientation in management seems to constrain the scope of different management approaches in a tight ideological corset. This article discusses the possibility of replacing this Puritan doctrine with the crucial elements of Indian philosophy: Karma and samsara. In doing so, the possibility of revising the guiding principles in capitalist management becomes conceivable, namely the monetary focus of profit-orientation and its short-term orientation. This perspective allows a detachment of the concept of profit from the realm of money, as the seemingly only objectifiable measure of profit. Furthermore it allows a removal of the expectation that every "investment" has to directly "pay off". A karmic view offers management a possible facility for being more caring about the needs and fates of other stakeholders, as profit-orientation would no longer be attached as a factual constraint to merely accumulate money.     Public service is the engine of effective governance delivery in the world economy; governments across the world cannot function well without the enabling structures of public administration to deliver on their mandate as set out mostly in (political) manifestos, while also making sure the core mandate for meeting citizens’ basic welfare needs are made available through an efficient market system. The operation of such a market system must enable entities or agents to act in the best interest of delivering high services, which would have already been set as dictated through regulation of the legal system – this should also facilitate the presence of information symmetry for agents to operate (Jackson and Jabbie, 2019; Winston, 2006; Weiner and Vining, 2004)

    A question of fit:cultural and individual differences in interpersonal justice perceptions

    This study examined the link between employees’ adult attachment orientations and perceptions of line managers’ interpersonal justice behaviors, and the moderating effect of national culture (collectivism). Participants from countries categorized as low collectivistic (N = 205) and high collectivistic (N = 136) completed an online survey. Attachment anxiety and avoidance were negatively related to interpersonal justice perceptions. Cultural differences did not moderate the effects of avoidance. However, the relationship between attachment anxiety and interpersonal justice was non-significant in the Southern Asia (more collectivistic) cultural cluster. Our findings indicate the importance of ‘fit’ between cultural relational values and individual attachment orientations in shaping interpersonal justice perceptions, and highlight the need for more non-western organizational justice research
