    Pengenalan Ekspresi Wajah Berbasis Filter Gabor Dan Backpropagation Neural Network

    Sebuah algoritma berbasis filter Gabor dan Backpropagation (BPP) Neural Network diusulkan untuk pengenalan ekspresi wajah. Pertama, ciri emosi ekspresi wajah dinyatakan dengan filter Gabor. Kemudian ciri digunakan untuk melatih jaringan neural dengan algoritma pelatihan Backpropagation. Terakhir, ekspresi wajah diklasifikasi dengan jaringan neural. Menggunakan algoritma tersebut, diperoleh hasil pengenalan yang tinggi.Kata Kunci—Pengenalan ekspresi wajah, filter Gabor, Jaringan Backpropagation

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh variabel kualitas pembelajaran dan kualitas pelayanan dalam hubungannya dengan kepuasan dan loyalitas mahasiswa Universitas Muria Kudus. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa Universitas Muria Kudus yang masih terdaftar dan aktif sampai dengan tahun akademik 2010/2011 berjumlah 5974 mahasiswa. Dengan menerapkan rumus Slovin maka diperoleh sampel sejumlah 375 mahasiswa yang diambil dengan metode purposive sampling. Data diperoleh melalui kuesioner dan dianalisis dengan menggunakan Structural Equation Modelling (SEM). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa loyalitas mahasiswa dapat dibangun dari variabel pembelajaran melalui kepuasan mahasiswa, dan loyalitas mahasiswa juga dapat dibangun dari variabel kualitas pelayanan melalui kepuasan mahasiswa

    Sistem layanan informasi dan pemesanan nomor antrian terpusat melalui media handphone dapat dijadikan sebagai  salah satu solusi untuk mempermudah masyarakat dalam melakukan antrian sehingga aktivitas mereka bisa berjalan dengan baik dan waktu mereka tidak terbuang terlalu lama. Dengan menggunakan sistem ini, nasabah dapat dengan mudah melihat kondisi antrian saat ini dan memesan nomor antrian, yaitu dengan mengirimkan SMS berupa kata “daftar” untuk memesan nomor antrian dan kata “info” untuk mengetahui kondisi antrian ke handphone server. Personal komputer digunakan sebagai pusat pengendalian yang berfungsi untuk mengirim dan menerima data dari hanphone dan dari mikrokontroler pada unit slave. Komunikasi data antara komputer sentral dengan mikrokontroler berjalan dengan menggunakan komunikasi serial asinkron multipoint  dengan baudrate 57600 bps. Komunikasi serial antara komputer sentral dengan handphone berjalan dengan baudrate 19200 bps. Dari hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sistem layanan informasi dan pemesanan nomor antrian dapat bekerja dengan baik. Informasi yang diberikan saat nasabah mendaftar nomor antrian  melalui handphone berupa nomor antrian dan password. Informasi yang diberikan komputer sentral saat nasabah meminta informasi kondisi antrian berupa berupa jumlah nasabah yang terdaftar pada sistem antrian saat ini, nomor antrian yang sedang dilayani pada masing-masing loket, waktu tutup antrian

    Cost Effectiveness of First-Line Treatment with Doxorubicin/Ifosfamide Compared to Trabectedin Monotherapy in the Management of Advanced Soft Tissue Sarcoma in Italy, Spain, and Sweden

    BACKGROUND: Doxorubicin/ifosfamide is a first-line systemic chemotherapy for the majority of advanced soft tissue sarcoma (ASTS) subtypes. Trabectedin is indicated for the treatment of ASTS after failure of anthracyclines and/or ifosfamide; however it is being increasingly used off-label as a first-line treatment. This study estimated the cost effectiveness of these two treatments in the first-line management of ASTS in Italy, Spain, and Sweden. METHODS: A Markov model was constructed to estimate the cost effectiveness of doxorubicin/ifosfamide compared to trabectedin monotherapy, defined as the cost per QALY gained, in each country. RESULTS: First-line treatment with doxorubicin/ifosfamide resulted in lower two-year healthcare costs and more QALYs than first-line treatment with trabectedin monotherapy in all three countries. Probabilistic sensitivity analysis showed that at a cost per QALY threshold of €35,000, >90% of a cohort would be cost effectively treated with doxorubicin/ifosfamide compared to trabectedin monotherapy in all three countries. CONCLUSION: Within the model’s limitations, first-line treatment of patients with ASTS with doxorubicin/ifosfamide instead of trabectedin monotherapy affords a cost-effective use of publicly funded healthcare resources in Italy, Spain, and Sweden and is therefore the preferred treatment in all three countries. These findings support the recommendation that trabectedin should remain a second-line treatment

    This final report titled the design of purchase and sales information system based of Visual Basic 6.0 at UKM Sentosa Jaya, located on Ki Anwar Mangku Street Lr. Sriraya II No. 08. The writer found that UKM Sentosa Jaya is still using recording purchase and sales system manually. The purpose of this study is to determine the use of information systems manage the purchase and sales of the purchase and sales transaction data by using Visual Basic 6.0. Data were collected through interview with the owner of UKM Sentosa Jaya. The writer used the programming languages application Visual Basic 6.0 to design a system of purchase and sales information system. The result from the test of the purchase and sales information system which has been designed by Visual Basic 6.0 shows that the documentation and processing of sales data were better and the output of the system is a report which is better and more accurate than the manual system. Based on the finding, the writer suggests that UKM Sentosa Jaya should use the purchase and sales information system which has been designed with visual basic 6.0 so result of record and data processing purchases and sales reports will in better qualit

    Kegiatan Lesson Study memegang peran sentral dalam upaya pengembangan profesionalisme guru serta peningkatan mutu pendidikan secara keseluruhan. Dalam era yang terus berkembang dengan tuntutan yang semakin kompleks di bidang pendidikan, guru tidak hanya diharapkan untuk menjadi pemimpin dalam kelas tetapi juga agen perubahan yang berkontribusi pada peningkatan sistemik dalam pembelajaran, Melalui pelatihan Lesson Study guru tidak hanya dapat memperbaiki proses pembelajaran tetapi juga membangun komunitas belajar, mendapatkan data hasil perbaikan proses pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan dalam menghasilkan artikel ilmiah. Kegiatan pelatihan Lesson Study ini dilakukan dari bulan Mei hingga Agustus 2023. Pelatihan dilakukan di SMP Negeri 2 Tinambung yang diikuti oleh guru dari berbagai mata pelajaran sejumlah 32 orang. Pelaksanakan kegiatan pengabdian dilakukan dengan beberapa tahapan dimulai dari tahapan persiapan yang terdiri dari koordinasi dengan mitra terkait permasalahan serta solusi yang ditawarkan, kemudian tahapan perencanaan kegiatan, tahapan persiapan kegiatan pelatihan, tahapan pelaksanaan pelatihan, tahapan monitoring dan pandampingan, dan tahapan evaluasi kegiatan.     Clinical Outcomes and Cost- effectiveness of Continuous Positive Airway Pressure to Manage Obstructive Sleep Apnea in Patients With Type 2Diabetes in the U. K.

    OBJECTIVE To assess clinical outcomes and cost-effectiveness of using continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) to manage obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) in patients with type 2 diabetes (T2D) from the perspective of the U.K.’s National Health Service (NHS). RESEARCH DESIGN AND METHODS Using a case-control design, 150 CPAP-treated patients with OSA and T2D were randomly selected from The Health Improvement Network (THIN) database (a nationally representative database of patients registered with general practitioners in the U.K.) and matched with 150 OSA and T2D patients from the same database who were not treated with CPAP. The total NHS cost and outcomes of patient management in both groups over 5 years and the cost-effectiveness of CPAP compared with no CPAP treatment were estimated. RESULTS Using CPAP was associated with significantly lower blood pressure at 5 years and increasingly lower HbA1c levels over 5 consecutive years compared with untreated OSA patients. At 5 years, the HbA1c level in the CPAP-treated group was 8.2% (66.0 mmol/mol) vs. 12.1% (108.4 mmol/mol) in the control group (P < 0.03). Use of CPAP significantly increased patients’ health status by 0.27 quality-adjusted life years (QALYs) per patient over 5 years (P < 0.001) and NHS management costs by £4,141 per patient over 5 years; the cost per QALY gained with CPAP was £15,337. CONCLUSIONS Initiating treatment with CPAP in OSA patients with T2D leads to significantly lower blood pressure and better controlled diabetes and affords a cost-effective use of NHS resources. These observations have the potential for treatment modification if confirmed in a prospective study

    The Implementation of Feedforward Backpropagation Algorithm for Digit Handwritten Recognition in a Xilinx Spartan-3

    This research is aimed to implement feedforward backpropagation algorithm for digit handwritten recognition in an FPGA, Xilinx Spartan 3. This research is expected to give a contribution such as the feedforward algorithm design in VLSI technology based on FPGA, the practice module of Xilinx Spartan-3 development board and further research in artificial neural network and FPGA field in Electronics Laboratory.The feedforward backpropagation algorithm is used to recognize 10 objects. The feedforward backpropagation network consists of two layers, 36 input unit which is the feature vector of object, 10 hidden neurons, and 10 output unit. The first layer activation function is tansig and second layer activation function is purelin.The multipliers use 18 bits.
