Maeda-Dadhich Solutions as Real Black Holes

A four-dimensional static Schwarzschild-like solution obtained in [3]-[6] in the frames of the Einstein-Gauss-Bonnet gravity at the Kaluza-Klein split is analyzed. The matter in these solutions is created by auxiliary dimensions. The main goal of our work is to study physically sensible characteristics, which could be observable. Study of the perturbed equations demonstrates their stability under linear perturbations. The specific combinations of the parameters, permitting to construct black hole-like objects with one or two horizons or naked singularities are determined. Stable orbits of test particles around these black holes are presented. We show the exotic thermodynamical properties of the solution, when the Hawking evaporation law has the behavior opposite to usual one in General Relativity

Лінгвокультурні особливості організації номінативних полів бінарних концептів ЩЕДРІСТЬ – СКУПІСТЬ у британській, німецькій, українській і російській лінгвокультурах (Linguistic and cultural peculiarities OF the organisation nominative fields of binary concepts Generosity - avarice in the British, German, Russian and UKRAINIAN Linguistic cultures)

У пропонованій статті встановлено лінгвокультурні особливості організації номінативних полів бінар- них концептів ЩЕДРІСТЬ – СКУПІСТЬ у британській, німецькій, українській і російській лінгвокультурах на основі їхньої фразеологічної об’єктивації в англійській, німецькій, українській і російській мовах крізь призму нового зіставно-лінгвокультурологічного підходу. Проаналізовано лінгвокультурні особливості організації номінативних полів даних бінарних концептів у британській, німецькій, українській і російській лінгвокультурах. На основі проведеного дефініційного аналізу виявлено прямі номінації досліджуваних концептів: брит. GENEROSITY – STINGINESS; нім. FREIGEBIGKEIT – GEIZ; укр. ЩЕДРІСТЬ – СКУПІСТЬ; рос. ЩЕДРОСТЬ – СКУПОСТЬ. (The linguocultural peculiarities of the organization of the nominal fields of the binary concepts GENEROSITY – STINGINESS in the British, German, Ukrainian and Russian linguocultures are elucidated in the article, which is done at the bases of their phraseological objectivation in English, German, Ukrainian and Russian via the methods of the new comparative-linguoculturological approach. The direct nominations of the concepts Brit. GENEROSITY – STINGINESS; Germ. FREIGEBIGKEIT – GEIZ; Ukr. ЩЕДРІСТЬ – СКУПІСТЬ; Rus. ЩЕДРОСТЬ – СКУПОСТЬ are revealed at the basis of their definition analysis.

Semileptonic B→D∗∗B \to D^{**} decays in Lattice QCD : a feasibility study and first results

We compute the decays ${B\to D^\ast_0}$ and ${B\to D^\ast_2}$ with finite masses for the $b$ and $c$ quarks. We first discuss the spectral properties of both the $B$ meson as a function of its momentum and of the $D^\ast_0$ and $D^\ast_2$ at rest. We compute the theoretical formulae leading to the decay amplitudes from the three-point and two-point correlators. We then compute the amplitudes at zero recoil of ${B\to D^\ast_0}$ which turns out not to be vanishing contrary to what happens in the heavy quark limit. This opens a possibility to get a better agreement with experiment. To improve the continuum limit we have added a set of data with smaller lattice spacing. The ${B\to D^\ast_2}$ vanishes at zero recoil and we show a convincing signal but only slightly more than 1 sigma from 0. In order to reach quantitatively significant results, we plan to fully exploit smaller lattice spacings as well as another lattice regularization.Comment: 31 pages with 15 figures ; sections 5 and 6 revised and update
