The Five People You Meet in Heaven is a very unique and interesting novel written by a well-known author and script writer Mitch Albom. This novel tells the story about a journey of a man in his search for the purpose of his existence in the afterlife. The purpose of analysing this novel is to understand theme of the story, setting, and the development of the main character in the story. The result shows that in understanding the meaning of life, we must conceive the concrete importance of sacrifice. Albom is a very good writer in combining two dimension of time in the different world, so the reader can easily picture many places that has been described in the novel

Un proceso de jerarquía analítica difícil del desempeño de la cadena de suministro turístico: Perspectivas del cliente

Evaluation of end-to-end tourism supply chain performance from the end customer (tourist) perspective is missing from literature, which necessitates for investigation. As the end customers are involved throughout all stages of the tourism supply chain, and that the tourism product is merely that of tourist experience and satisfaction, the agenda is considered quintessential. Accordingly, this research aims to investigate tourism supply chain management (TSCM) performance attributes from the tourists’ point of view. This study takes its setting in the Nusa Tenggara Timur (NTT) Province of Indonesia, a flourishing prospectus of tourism sector in the country. A Fuzzy – Analytical Hierarchy Process (F-AHP) method was employed to examine the relative importance of the criteria and sub-criteria of TSCM. Results render the stages prior to travelling as the most essential phases in the tourism supply chain that influences satisfaction in the travelling experience. Moreover, the three most critical performance criteria are visa and/or other pre-travel document arrangements cycle time, accuracy of information about the destination, and accuracy of information in the booking process. Aside from practical insights, our findings also present a foundation for further investigation into other dimensions of TSCM performanceLa evaluación del desempeño de la cadena de suministro turístico de un extremo a otro desde la perspectiva del cliente final (turista) no se encuentra en la literatura, lo que requiere una investigación. Dado que los clientes finales están involucrados en todas las etapas de la cadena de suministro turístico y que el producto turístico es simplemente el de la experiencia y la satisfacción del turista, la agenda se considera esencial. En consecuencia, esta investigación tiene como objetivo investigar los atributos de desempeño de la gestión de la cadena de suministro turístico (TSCM) desde el punto de vista de los turistas. Este estudio se desarrolla en la provincia de Nusa Tenggara Timur (NTT) de Indonesia, un prospecto floreciente del sector turístico en el país. Se empleó un método de proceso de jerarquía analítica difusa (F-AHP) para examinar la importancia relativa de los criterios y subcriterios de TSCM. Los resultados hacen que las etapas previas al viaje sean las fases más esenciales en la cadena de suministro turístico que influye en la satisfacción en la experiencia del viaje. Además, los tres criterios de desempeño más críticos son la visa y / u otros arreglos de documentos previos al viaje, el tiempo del ciclo, la precisión de la información sobre el destino y la precisión de la información en el proceso de reserva.
