    Penelitian ini didasarkan pada fenomena secara empiris bahwa naik turunnya harga saham sektor pertambangan tahun 2016 – 2018 menandakan adanya persaingan dalam kegiatan bisnis, perusahaan dituntut dapat mengelola sumber daya manusia yang dimilikinya agar teciptanya daya saing dan hasil kerja yang baik, sehingga perusahaan akan memiliki penilaian yang baik. Oleh karenanya, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Intellectual Capital terhadap Kinerja Keuangan serta Implikasinya terhadap Nilai Perusahaan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dan verifikatif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah perusahaan sektor pertambangan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia selama periode tahun 2016-2018 sebanyak 46 perusahaan. Metode pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode purposive sampling dan diperoleh 34 perusahaan yang sesuai dengan kriteria. Data sekunder diperoleh dari laporan tahunan dan laporan keungan selama periode 2016-2018 dari website Bursa Efek Indonesia (idx.co.id). Pengujian hipotesis pada penelitian ini menggunakan path analysis dengan bantuan software WarpPLS 5.0. Hasil penelitian ini membuktikan hipotesis bahwa (1) intellectual capital berpengaruh terhadap kinerja keuangan; (2) intellectual capital tidak berpengaruh terhadap nilai perusahaan; (3) kinerja keuangan berpengaruh terhadap nilai perusahaan; (4) kinerja keuangan mampu memediasi intellectual capital terhadap nilai perusahaan.----------This research based on empirically phenomenom that the fluctuative stock in mining industry on 2016 – 2018 indicating there is a competition in bussiness activity, corporate will be compelled to managing the resources so the potencies and the result will be good, and will increase the value of a corporate. Because of that, this research aims to know the influence of intellectual capital on financial performance and its implication on firm value. Methods used on this research was descriptive and verification with quantitative approachs. The population on this research is mining sector that listed on Indonesian Stock Exchange in 2016 – 2018 is about 46 corporate. Sampling method using purposive sampling and resulting 34 corporate which is matched the criteria. Secondary data obtained from annual report and financial statement on 2016 – 2018 from Indonesian Stock Exchange Hypothesis testing using path analysis with WarpPLS 5.0. Research finding are (1) intellectual capital affecting financial performance, (2) intellectual capital did not affecting firm value, (3) financial performance affecting firm value, (4) financial performance could moderating intellectual capital toward firm value

    Penerapan Pembelajaran SETS (Science, Environment, Technology and Society) untuk meningkatkan Pemahaman Kebencanaan Tsunami Peserta didik pada materi Gelombang Mekanik

    Seeing the high potential that Indonesia has in dealing with the tsunami, an effort is needed to understand and prepare in order to anticipate and reduce the impact of the disaster. To understand a disaster, it is necessary to study the concepts and basics related to disaster which includes the physical process that can be caused by the disaster. The aims of this research are (1) to analyze the implementation of Science, Environment, Technology and Society learning to improve understanding of disaster and (2) to analyze the learning outcomes of Science, Environment, Technology and Society towards disaster understanding. This type of research is quantitative research using experimental research methods. This study used a one-group design, namely a one-group pretest-posttest design. This research was conducted at SMA Kartika Wijaya in class XI MIPA with 35 students. The results show that the teacher can implent SETS model learning well for the two observers, which is 71.87% to 76.56% for the first observer and 85.90% to 87.50% for the second observer. SETS Model learning on mechanical wave material can improve understanding of disaster. This is evidenced by the N-gain value obtained at 0.73 which is categorized as high. The findings of this study can be used as a starting point for research to examine the SETS Model learning by taking into account the positive impact of learning. Suggestions for future researchers are to use other learning models to improve understanding of disasters and to use examples of natural disasters other than tsunamis Keywords: SETS Model Learning, Understanding Disaster, Tsunami, Mechanical WavesMelihat tingginya potensi yang dimiliki Indonesia dalam menghadapi tsunami maka diperlukannya sebuah upaya dalam memahami dan menyiapkan agar dapat mengantisipasi serta mengurangi dampak yang ditimbulkan dari bencana tersebut. Untuk memahami sebuah kebencanaan maka perlu dipelajari konsep dan dasar terkait kebencanaan yang meliputi proses secara Fisika hingga dapat yang ditimbulkan oleh bencana tersebut.  Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah (1) Menganalisis keterlaksanaan pembelajaran SETS Model untuk meningkatkan pemahaman terhadap kebencanaan dan (2) Menganalisis hasil pembelajaran SETS Model terhadap Pemahaman kebencanaan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitaf dengan menggunakan metode penelitian eksperimen. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain satu kelompok yaitu one-group pretest-posttest design. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMA Kartika Wijaya pada kelas XI MIPA dengan jumlah peserta didik sebanyak 35 orang. Hasil menunjukan guru dapat melaksanakan pembelajaran SETS model dengan baik pada kedua pengamat yakni sebesar 71,87% menjadi 76,56% pada pengamat pertama dan 85.90% menjadi 87.50% pada pengamat kedua. Pembelajaran SETS Model pada materi gelombang mekanik dapat meningkatkan pemahaman kebencanaan. Hal tersebut dibuktikan dengan  nilai N-gain yang didapatkan sebesar 0,73 yang dikategorikan  tinggi. Temuan dari penelitian ini dapat digunakan sebagai awal dari penelitian untuk meneliti terkait pembelajaran SETS Model dengan memperhatikan dampak positif dari pembelajaran.     Acquisition and Data Logging Inertial Navigation System (INS) on Combat Submarine Using Arduino-SD Card

    In a combat submarine operating system, navigation device acts as a location information provider on  inside or at sea level. Such information is position data provided by GPS (Global Positioning System) and data transmitted by IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit) sensor. Combining these two device is called INS (Inertial Navigation System). This inertial sensor interacts using serial communication data, however records are needed to collect, store and store incoming data in order to be processed easily. Data logging process is feasible as a recorder and data storage using SD Card. Enhancements, such as SD cards are needed because in general system is equipped with a small memory capacity. Arduino is a microcontroller that can assist in process because data obtained from sensor is processed using serial communication lines (RX and TX). Results obtained from calculation and logging data are calculation Roll, Pitch, Heading, Latitude, Longitude, Microseconds, Gyroscope on X axis, Y, Z, Accelerometer on X axis, Y, Z, Magnetometer on X, Y, Z, Velocity North, East, Down. This proves that system acceleration and data logging using Arduino and SD Card can assist in obtaining information and KTBA situation

    Anterior Interhemispheric Approach for Olfactory Groove Meningioma

    Objective: To evaluate the surgical technique with bifrontal interhemispheric approach for total removal of tumor in olfactory groove meningioma (OGM). Methods: This study described a case of a 38-year-old woman with bilateral blindness, anosmia, and behaviour changes. Imaging studies show a tumor mass in midfrontal base. Surgery using a bifrontal interhemispheric approach was performed and total removal was achieved and postoperative computed tomography (CT) scan was performed to confirm the result. Histopathological findings established a diagnosis of meningioma.Results: A coronal skin incision behind the hairline was utilized. The scalp was elevated, taking care to reserve the vascularized pericranium medial to the linea temporalis of each side, and preserving the 2 supraorbital nerves. Eight burr holes were used, with the two initial holes made on each side of the orbitotemporal region, and the other four holes at the midline. A bifrontal craniotomy was performed. The tumor was first detached from its attachment with bipolar cautery and debulked. During this step, the main tumor feeder arteries from the anterior and posterior ethmoidal artery were interrupted, and the tumor devascularized. Total tumor removal through surgical intervention was achieved and confirmed by head CT-scan postoperatively.Conclusions: This case report supports the suitability of the bifrontal interhemispheric approach for OGM resection with additional radiation therapy.Keywords: Anterior interhemispheric approach, olfactory groove meningioma DOI: 10.15850/ijihs.v4n2.83

    Perbaikan Instalasi Listrik dan Sistem Penerangan Untuk Menunjang Desa Wisata Pulau Mubud Darat

    One of the tourist attractions in the city of Batam is the tourist village of Pulau Mubud Darat. Mubud Darat Island is separated from Batam Island. On the island of Mubud Darat has a beautiful beach with white sand on the shoreline. However, on the island of Mubud Darat, there is no PLN electricity. The electricity that flows on Mubud Darat Island is still sourced from generators with diesel fuel. Electrical installations on the island of Mubud Darat are also not safe for visitors. This requires large costs for tourism operations both for operations and installation repairs. In addition, to increase the interest of visitors on Mubud Darat island, a good photo spot icon is needed which will later become an icon for Mubud Darat Island. Therefore, lighting is needed from solar panels, as well as repairs to electrical installations on Mubud Darat island. In addition, to create a tourist icon on Mubud Darat Island, a photo spot for the sky door is given which is added with LED strip lights.Salah satu objek wisata di kota Batam adalah desa wisata Pulau Mubud Darat. Pulau Mubud Darat terpisah dari pulau Batam. Di pulau Mubud Darat memiliki pantai yang indah dengan pasir putih di bibir pantainya. Namun di pulau Mubud Darat belum memiliki listrik PLN. Listrik yang mengalir di Pulau Mubud Darat masih bersumber pada Genset dengan bahan bakar solar. Instalasi listrik di pulau Mubud Darat juga tidak savety bagi pengunjung. Hal ini membutuhkan biaya yang besar untuk operasi wisata baik untuk operasional maupun perbaikan intalasi. Selain itu, untuk meningkatkan minat pengunjung di pulau Mubud Darat, dibutuhkan sebuat icon spot foto yang bagus yang nantinya menjadi icon bagi Pulau Mubud Darat. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan lampu penerangan yang bersumber dari panel surya, sekaligus perbaikan instalasi listrik di pulau Mubud Darat. Selain itu, untuk menciptakan icon wisata di Pulau Mubud Darat, diberikan spot foto pintu langit yang ditambahkan dengan lampu LED stri
