KETERAMPILAN MEMBUAT KIPAS DARI ANYAMAN BAMBU MELALUI METODE PROYEK BAGI ANAK TUNAGRAHITA RINGAN

Abstract There are several difficulties faced by mild-mental-retarded students in a skill class learning on the aspect of making plaited bamboo hand-fan. The project method was applied as a learning strategy in making plaited bamboo hand-fan using 70% success indicator.The research was aimed to (1) describe the students’ activities in a skill class learning on the aspect of making plaited bamboo hand-fan using the project method; (2) describe the increase of learning achievement among the mild-mental-retarded students in grade VII in Junior High Special School of Banyuwangi through the project method. The research method used was a class action research applying Kemnis model with include observation and test collection method.Based on of the research, the result on first cycle was less satisfied; The average value of students’ activities was 59, 3% achieved, and the average value of the students work result was 59.2% achieved. The second cycle result was the average value of students’ activities was 74% achieved, and the average value of the students work result was 80% achieved. It showed the average result of the students’ skill above the defined minimum completeness criteria, which was 70 and above, achieved. The conclusion was the project method increases the students’ learning achievement among the mild-mental-retarded students in grade VII in Junior High Special School of Banyuwangi.Keywords : skills, project metho

Efektifitas Rebusan Wortel (Daucus Carota. L) terhadap Penurunan kadar Kolesterol Darah pada Tikus Putih (Rattus Norvegicus)

Hypercholesterolemia is a disease of cholesterol metabolism disorder caused by high blood cholesterol. Chemical treatment is reported to have side effects in the long term. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of carrot stew to decrease cholesterol levels in hypercholesterolemic of rats.The design of this study used experimental randomized control-group pretest - post test design. The samples were divided into control and treatment groups, each group consisted 8 rats. The treatment used a carrot stew with 1.25cc dose and control with medication simvastatin 0144 cc dose was given every morning for 3 days. The measurement of the cholesterol levels used Touch Essey data analysis by Wilcoxon and Mann-Whitney. The study started on May 15th - July 22, 2015.The results of the study showed the cholesterol control group decreased 12.5% (P = 0.069> á = 0.05) in the treatment group and 50% (P = 0.716), On the statistical test showed no effect of carrot stew on blood cholesterol levels. While the results of the effect between treatment and control group (P = 0528> á = 0.05).Carrots with beta-carotene could lower cholesterol levels in the blood, and could prevent the oxidation of Low Dencity Lipoprotein (LDL). PENGARUH HARGA, KUALITAS PRODUK, DAN CELEBRITY ENDORSER TEHADAP MINAT BELI PRODUK SCARLETT WHITENING (STUDI KASUS PADA PEREMPUAN DI SURAKARTA)

Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ialah guna membuktikan bagaimana keterikatan antara harga, kualitas produk, dan celebrity endorser pada minat beli produk Scarlett Whitening di Surakarta. Data dalam riset dikumpulkan melalui pembagian kuisioner. Perempuan di Surakarta adalah populasi yang dipakai dalam riset ini. Pengambilan sampel purposive sampling ialah metode yang dipakai dalam pengambilan sampel. Melalui penggunaan rumus Rao Purba, maka diperoleh jumlah responden sebanyak 100 responden. Uji regresi linear berganda digunakan sebagai alat analisis data dalam penelitian yang sedang dilakukan ini. Diperoleh dari riset ini ialah variabel harga, kualitas produk, dan celebrity endorser  memberikan pengaruh secara signifikan terhadap minat beli produk Scarlett Whitening di Surakarta. Through the use of the Rao Purba formula, the number of respondents was obtained as many as 100 respondents. Multiple linear regression test is used as a data analysis tool in the research that is currently being conducted. Obtained from this research are the variables of price, product quality, and celebrity endorsers that have a significant influence on the purchase interest of Scarlett Whitening products in Surakarta.
