Analysis of the Effect of Chinese Printing Communication on the Belt and Road Culture

    Get PDF
The spread and development of Chinese printing has experienced three stages of spreading around China, Central Asia, West Asia and Europe, which has played an important role in promoting the development of the land and Maritime Silk Road. In fact, the spread of Chinese typography not only promoted the cultural prosperity of the Chinese cultural circle, but also made the Central Asian and Western Asian cultural circles become the hub of cultural exchange between China and the West, and promoted the development of Western modern history represented by the Renaissance. It provides important technical support for the formation of the “Belt and Road” cultural circle

Modeling and Controller Design for the Air-to-Air Missile Uncertain System

    Get PDF
The guidance and control problem of the air-to-air missile system is studied. A nonlinear, coupling dynamic model of the air-to-air missile with six degrees of freedom is investigated, and a uncertain control system is proposed according to some assumptions and simplifications. Then, based on Lyapunov stability theory, a Lyapunov function is employed, and a controller is designed for the air-to-air missile. Numerical simulations show that the control system proves the correctness and has preferably tracking performance and illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed controller

Adaptive Vibration Control for Cable-Bridge Coupled Uncertain Nonlinear System

    Get PDF
Considering buffeting loading on the structure, technique of adaptive vibration control for long-span cable-bridge structure is developed. Model of vibration control for uncertain nonlinear systems of long-span cable-bridge structure is established; buffeting loading systems of long-span bridge structure is created by weighted amplitude wave superposition method. In order to depress buffeting loading influence of the wind-induce vibration for the structure and improve the robust performance of the vibration control, based on the semi-active vibration control devices and using adaptive control approach, an adaptive vibration controller and adaptive control laws for the uncertain parameters are designed. Numerical simulation results illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed technique

A stochastic proximal alternating method for non-smooth non-convex optimization

    Get PDF
We introduce SPRING, a novel stochastic proximal alternating linearized minimization algorithm for solving a class of non-smooth and non-convex optimization problems. Large-scale imaging problems are becoming increasingly prevalent due to advances in data acquisition and computational capabilities. Motivated by the success of stochastic optimization methods, we propose a stochastic variant of proximal alternating linearized minimization (PALM) algorithm \cite{bolte2014proximal}. We provide global convergence guarantees, demonstrating that our proposed method with variance-reduced stochastic gradient estimators, such as SAGA \cite{SAGA} and SARAH \cite{sarah}, achieves state-of-the-art oracle complexities. We also demonstrate the efficacy of our algorithm via several numerical examples including sparse non-negative matrix factorization, sparse principal component analysis, and blind image deconvolution.Comment: 28 pages, 11 page appendi

State-of-the-art of Fly Ash Engineering Property I

    Get PDF
Crucial properties of Fly ash such as Classification criteria, Grain size distribution, Specific gravity, Compaction behavior, Permeability, Consolidation test, and Direct Shear Tests are discussed in this paper. More details and features about fly ash in Unconfined Compression, Self-hardening, Unconsolidated Undrained Triaxial Compression Test, Drained triaxial tests, and CIU triaxial tests, will be presented in the next paper. Large amount of data shows that geotechnical properties of fly ash are correlated with chemical composition. Most fly ash can be classified as sandy silt to silty sand or fine sand, and the specific gravity of fly ash depends on fineness, loss on ignition (LOI), mineralogy, and iron content. Moreover, the residual carbon content controls the compaction characteristics, even though other factors like gradation, iron content, morphology, etc. are also important. Class C fly ash is less permeable but shows a higher consolidation pressure resistance than class F fly ash

Model Predictive Control for Connected Hybrid Electric Vehicles

    Get PDF
This paper presents a new model predictive control system for connected hybrid electric vehicles to improve fuel economy. The new features of this study are as follows. First, the battery charge and discharge profile and the driving velocity profile are simultaneously optimized. One is energy management for HEV for Pbatt; the other is for the energy consumption minimizing problem of acc control of two vehicles. Second, a system for connected hybrid electric vehicles has been developed considering varying drag coefficients and the road gradients. Third, the fuel model of a typical hybrid electric vehicle is developed using the maps of the engine efficiency characteristics. Fourth, simulations and analysis (under different parameters, i.e., road conditions, vehicle state of charge, etc.) are conducted to verify the effectiveness of the method to achieve higher fuel efficiency. The model predictive control problem is solved using numerical computation method: continuation and generalized minimum residual method. Computer simulation results reveal improvements in fuel economy using the proposed control method

Minimizing the Deployment Cost of UAVs for Delay-Sensitive Data Collection in IoT Networks

    Get PDF
In this paper, we study the deployment of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) to collect data from IoT devices, by finding a data collection tour for each UAV. To ensure the \u27freshness\u27 of the collected data, the total time spent in the tour of each UAV that consists of the UAV flying time and data collection time must be no greater than a given delay B, e.g., 20 minutes. In this paper, we consider a problem of deploying the minimum number of UAVs and finding their data collection tours, subject to the constraint that the total time spent in each tour of any UAV is no greater than B. Specifically, we study two variants of the problem: one is that a UAV needs to fly to the location of each IoT device to collect its data; the other is that a UAV is able to collect the data of an IoT device if the Euclidean distance between them is no greater than the wireless transmission range of the IoT device. For the first variant of the problem, we propose a novel 4-approximation algorithm, which improves the best approximation ratio 4 4/7 for it so far. For the second variant, we devise the very first constant factor approximation algorithm. We also evaluate the performance of the proposed algorithms via extensive experiment simulations. Experimental results show that the numbers of UAVs deployed by the proposed algorithms are from 11% to 19% less than those by existing algorithms on average

Blocking interaction between SHP2 and PD‐1 denotes a novel opportunity for developing PD‐1 inhibitors

    Get PDF
Small molecular PD‐1 inhibitors are lacking in current immuno‐oncology clinic. PD‐1/PD‐L1 antibody inhibitors currently approved for clinical usage block interaction between PD‐L1 and PD‐1 to enhance cytotoxicity of CD8+ cytotoxic T lymphocyte (CTL). Whether other steps along the PD‐1 signaling pathway can be targeted remains to be determined. Here, we report that methylene blue (MB), an FDA‐approved chemical for treating methemoglobinemia, potently inhibits PD‐1 signaling. MB enhances the cytotoxicity, activation, cell proliferation, and cytokine‐secreting activity of CTL inhibited by PD‐1. Mechanistically, MB blocks interaction between Y248‐phosphorylated immunoreceptor tyrosine‐based switch motif (ITSM) of human PD‐1 and SHP2. MB enables activated CTL to shrink PD‐L1 expressing tumor allografts and autochthonous lung cancers in a transgenic mouse model. MB also effectively counteracts the PD‐1 signaling on human T cells isolated from peripheral blood of healthy donors. Thus, we identify an FDA‐approved chemical capable of potently inhibiting the function of PD‐1. Equally important, our work sheds light on a novel strategy to develop inhibitors targeting PD‐1 signaling axis
