The Barrel Toroid Magnet is: part of the Magnet System of the ATLAS Detector for the LHC. It provides the magnetic field required by the muon spectrometer. It consists of eight flat superconducting coils and will extend over a length of 26 meters with an inner bore of 9 meters and an outer diameter of 20 meters. The general design (pancakes, coil casing, tie rods, circular cryostats and warm voussoirs) has been presented in MT15. The present paper concentrates on the technological developments for the B0 model roil and for the BT coils : industrial production of conductor, welding technique for the coil casing, prestress of the coil with bladders, cold to warm supports, construction and assembly of the cryostat

Study of a CICC Copper Jacket Junction for MADMAX

International audienceFor the Magnetized Disc and Mirror Axion eXperiment (MADMAX) project (Caldwell et al. 2017), we need some junctions between the coil double pancakes and with the current leads. MADMAX coils are skateboard double pancakes (Caldwell et al. 2017) placed in a static superfluid helium bath. For the first mock-up coil, called MAdmax Coil for Quench Understanding (MACQU), the current lead junctions were based on the W7X box design, but we got some limitation in these boxes at 80% of the critical current due to bad current distribution. To avoid this issue, for the MADMAX junctions design, we tried the simplest solution for a copper jacket cable in conduit conductor that consists to directly solder both jackets together. We made some resistance measurements on the MACQU mock-up conductor, and we defined semi-analytic formulae to extrapolate the result to the MADMAX conductor

Enterprise terminologies are now getting close to a panel of semantic representations coming from various disciplines and practices, and that share the relationship between lexical and conceptual levels within data structures. As long as these representations are built up from texts that reflect usage, their role goes far beyond drawing a simple inventory of terms and definitions. From now on, these structures are indicators of either convergences or misfunctions (where), of vocabularies as well as professional competences (who) or even temporal evolutions (when). By doing so, document based semantic representations are detectors useful to improve the company communication and knowledge management. To better measure these challenges, it is worth underlying the impact of corpora selection the exact nature of data structures and the kind of available techniques and software for their design from texts
