Toward quantized Picard-Vessiot theory, Further observations on our previous example
It is quite natural to wonder whether there is a difference-differential
equations, the Galois group of which is a quantum group that is neither
commutative nor co-commutative. Believing that there was no such linear
equations, we explored non-linear equations and discovered a such equation. We
show that the example is related with a linear equation. We treat only one
charming example. It is not, however, an isolated example. We open a window
that allows us to have a look at a quantized Picard-Vessiot theory
Analysis of the Influence of Internet TV Station on Wikipedia Page Views
We aim to investigate the influence of television on the web; if the
influence is strong, a viral effect may be expected. In this paper, we focus on
the Internet TV station and on Wikipedia use as exploratory behavior on the
web. We analyzed the influence of Internet TV station on Wikipedia page views.
Our aim is to clarify the characteristics of page views as related to Internet
TV station in order to index outward impact and develop a prediction model. The
results indicate that there is a correlation between TV viewership and page
views. Moreover we find that the time lag between TV and web gradually reduce
as broadcasts begin after 9:00; after 23:00, page views tend to be maximized
during the broadcast itself. We also differentiate between page views on PC and
on mobile and find that PC pages tend to be accessed more during the daytime.
In addition, we consider the number of broadcasts per program, and observe that
viewership tends to stabilize as the number of broadcasts increases but that
page views tend to decrease.Comment: The 3rd International Workshop on Application of Big Data for

Hodge metrics and positivity of direct images
Building on Fujita-Griffiths method of computing metrics on Hodge bundles, we
show that the direct image of an adjoint semi-ample line bundle by a projective
submersion has a continuous metric with Griffiths semi-positive curvature. This
shows that for every holomorphic semi-ample vector bundle on a complex
manifold, and every positive integer , the vector bundle
has a continuous metric with Griffiths semi-positive curvature. If is ample
on a projective manifold, the metric can be made smooth and Griffiths positive.Comment: revised and expanded version of "A positivity property of ample

Elucidation of the Mechanism and Significance of the Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate from Clinical Laboratory Data
The erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR) is a widely used marker of inflammation, but the detailed mechanisms underlying the ESR remain unclear. We retrospectively collected laboratory data from our hospital’s laboratory information system, and performed multiple linear regression analysis and correlation analysis to determine relationships between the ESR and other laboratory test parameters. The alpha-2, beta-2, and gamma fractions from serum protein electrophoresis, serum immunoglobulin (Ig) G, IgA, IgM, and complement C3 levels, plasma fibrinogen levels, and platelet count showed positive effects on the ESR; however, the serum albumin level showed negative effects. Since erythrocytes are negatively charged, an increase in positively charged proteins and a decrease in negatively charged albumin were suggested to increase the ESR. Notably, C-reactive protein (CRP) showed the third-strongest correlation with the ESR despite having no significant effect on the ESR. We also reviewed cases with discordant ESR and CRP levels to compare the disease profiles of high ESR/low CRP patients and low ESR/high CRP patients. The patients with high ESR/low CRP had a completely different disease profile from those with low ESR/high CRP. Since the ESR and CRP have different roles, they should be used as markers in a context-dependent manner
