    Get PDF
Purpose: The study aimed to measure the closing price indicators for the Iraqi bank sector during the period (2010-2020) and using the PMG / ARDL index, which is an acronym for pooled mean group / Autoregressive distributed lag, i.e. self-regression to slow down. Distributed tablet data, to measure the relationship between the components of the economic crises of the dependent variable (closing price) of the Iraqi banks, the study sample, and the independent variables each of (gross domestic product, market value, global oil prices and economic crises).   Theoretical framework: The Iraqi economy is affected by economic crises along with the performance of investment portfolios in Iraqi banks.   Methodology of the study: To highlight the different conclusions taken by the banks that contribute In its success: Barony's co-integration test, according to the four formulas, shows that there is long-term integration between the dependent variable (closing price) and the independent variables (market value, gross domestic product, crude oil prices) during the quarterly period 2010-2020, which means that the PMG method can be applied. /ARDL.   Findings: This study showed that there is an adverse effect from the gross domestic product to the closing prices of the banking sector, and this can be justified by the increase in the gross domestic product associated with the increase in oil revenues. Because the oil sector contributes to 60% of GDP in Iraq.   Practical & Social implications: Study main necessary comes from paying attention to the development of investment portfolios in Iraq by following solid policies in implementing the necessary procedures for investing in portfolios, raising awareness of the culture of investment portfolios within investment communities or investment companies, and establishing the idea of establishing a fund to guarantee investment portfolios in a symbiotic manner that reduces the risks of fluctuations in oil revenues resulting from Crises.   Originality of study: Comes from that decision makers can reach solutions and treatments to mitigate their severity, and address the imbalance in the stock market in a way that achieves an improvement in the contribution formed by the rest sectors in the total GDP, and reduce the risks resulting from dependence on oil revenues

Semantic Labeling of High Resolution Images Using EfficientUNets and Transformers

Semantic segmentation necessitates approaches that learn high-level characteristics while dealing with enormous amounts of data. Convolutional neural networks (CNNs) can learn unique and adaptive features to achieve this aim. However, due to the large size and high spatial resolution of remote sensing images, these networks cannot analyze an entire scene efficiently. Recently, deep transformers have proven their capability to record global interactions between different objects in the image. In this paper, we propose a new segmentation model that combines convolutional neural networks with transformers, and show that this mixture of local and global feature extraction techniques provides significant advantages in remote sensing segmentation. In addition, the proposed model includes two fusion layers that are designed to represent multi-modal inputs and output of the network efficiently. The input fusion layer extracts feature maps summarizing the relationship between image content and elevation maps (DSM). The output fusion layer uses a novel multi-task segmentation strategy where class labels are identified using class-specific feature extraction layers and loss functions. Finally, a fast-marching method is used to convert all unidentified class labels to their closest known neighbors. Our results demonstrate that the proposed methodology improves segmentation accuracy compared to state-of-the-art techniques

The nesting success was 25% for the loggerhead turtle and 40% for the green turtle. A total of 106 dead marine turtles were observed, including 95 (92%) loggerhead turtles and 11 (8%) green turtles

Secured node detection technique based on artificial neural network for wireless sensor network

    Get PDF
The wireless sensor network is becoming the most popular network in the last recent years as it can measure the environmental conditions and send them to process purposes. Many vital challenges face the deployment of WSNs such as energy consumption and security issues. Various attacks could be subjects against WSNs and cause damage either in the stability of communication or in the destruction of the sensitive data. Thus, the demands of intrusion detection-based energy-efficient techniques rise dramatically as the network deployment becomes vast and complicated. Qualnet simulation is used to measure the performance of the networks. This paper aims to optimize the energy-based intrusion detection technique using the artificial neural network by using MATLAB Simulink. The results show how the optimized method based on the biological nervous systems improves intrusion detection in WSN. In addition to that, the unsecured nodes are affected the network performance negatively and trouble its behavior. The regress analysis for both methods detects the variations when all nodes are secured and when some are unsecured. Thus, Node detection based on packet delivery ratio and energy consumption could efficiently be implemented in an artificial neural network

Finite element analysis can be a useful tool in investigating the mechanical interaction between the residual limb and its prosthetic socket, and in computer-aided design and computer-aided manufacturing of prosthetic sockets. The intention of this paper was to analyze prosthetic socket of distinct materials and for different geometry for optimum design solution by finite element analysis. The finite element method (FEM) is a very powerful tool for analysing the behaviour of structures, especially when the geometry and mechanics are too complex to be modelled with analytical methods. A modified three dimensional finite element model of socket was developed in workbench of ANSYS 14.0 to find out the stress distribution and deformation pattern under functionally appropriate loading condition during normal gait cycle.  A variety of materials were used for the analysis of the socket like The optimization technique results showed that the best optimal design of the prosthetic above knee socket is in lay-up 4perlon 2fiber glass 4perlon design under temperature 20 . This study focuses on the analysis of patellar tendon bearing prosthetic sockets with integrated compliant features designed to relieve contact pressure between the residual limb and socket. In this study, the numerical results of stress distribution model of the prosthetic above knee socket showed that the values of maximum stress according to Von-Mises criterion results are increased with the increasing of temperatures. The best designs results of the prosthetic above knee socket are (94.64%) in lamination lay-up 4-2-4 under 20  where it took from pervious study. The procedure developed through this work can be used by future researchers and prosthetic designers in understanding how to better design transfemoral prosthesis.
