    Konsep Dasar Embriologi: Tinjauan Teoretis

    Embryology is part of a study of developmental biology. In embryology widely used terms that will clarify a process, and the state or the name of a body part, such as teratology, is part of a study of embryology and cause birth defects. Fetuses and embryos as another name for the developing fetus. Individual development process involves five kinds of processes, namely the growth, differentiation, cellular interactions, movement and metabolism. The fifth process will always be found in every stage of human development (day after day and week after week). Embryology process closely related to the presence and action of genes in the body.     TREN PENELITIAN PENDIDIKAN BIOLOGI 2012-2017: ANALISIS KONTEN PAPER DI JURNAL TERSELEKSI DARI INDEKS PUBLIKASI INDONESIA AbstrakArtikel ini telah menjelaskan kajian tentang tren penelitian di bidang penelitian pendidikan biologi di Indonesia sepanjang tahun 2012-2017. Studi ini telah menganalisis artikel-artikel yang telah dipublikasikan di jurnal ilmiah yang telah diindeks di Indonesia Publication Index. Pada bagian pendahuluan penelitian, kami telah menemukan hanya empat jurnal yang memiliki skop secara spesifik di bidang pembelajaran biologi. Keempat jurnal tersebut adalah Journal of Biology Education, Bioedu, Bioedukasi dan Didaktika Biologi. Dalam keempat jurnal ini kami juga telah menemukan 547 artikel yang telah dipublikasikan sejak tahun 2012-2017. Semua artikel ini telah diunduh dan dilakukan analisis konten. Analisis konten dilakukan mengacu kepada tujuh aspek yaitu topik biologi, subjek penelitian, metode/desain penelitian, elemen penelitian, alat pengumpul  data, jenis dan ukuran sampel dan teknik analisis data. Data yang telah diperoleh, telah dianalisis dengan statistik deskriptif dan telah ditampilkan dalam bentuk tabel dan grafik. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah tren penelitian di bidang penelitian pendidikan biologi di Indonesia sepanjang tahun 2012-2017 dibedakan menjadi tujuh kategori yaitu topik biologi adalah bentuk dan fungsi hewan, subjek penelitian adalah pengajaran dan pembelajaran, metode/desain penelitian adalah eksperimen, elemen penelitian adalah kognitif, alat pengumpul  data adalah tes prestasi belajar, jenis sampel adalah siswa-siswa sekolah menengah atas dan ukuran sampel adalah 31-100 dan teknik analisis data adalah teknik kuantitatif..AbstractThis article was to describe research trends in Biology Education Research (BER) in Indonesia across year 2012-2017. This study was conducted by descriptive quantitative, with a content analysis the article that has been published in scientific journals that indexed in the Indonesia publication index. The content analysis were refer to sevent subjects were biology topics, teaching and learning, research design/methods, research element, data collection tools, samples and sample sizes and technique of the data analysis. The data obtained were analyzed with descriptive statistics and displayed in tables and graphs. We founded that only four journals have been scope specifically in the biology learning. The four journals were Journal of Biology Education, Bioedu, Bioedukasi and Didaktika Biologi. In theses journals, we also found 547 articles published from 2012-2017. All of these articles were downloaded and all of theses articles were subjected to content analysis. The result of the study showed that research trends BER in Indonesia across the year 2012-2017 were devide on seven categorizes such as; biology topics was animal form and function, teaching and learning was subject matter, research design/methods was quantitative experimental design, research element was cognitive, data collection tools was achievement test, samples was the students at Senior High School (SMA) and the size of samples was between 31-100 and technique of the data analysis was quantitative method. The implication of this study has implicated that to be an information for the researcher being conduct their researchs. The result of this study also will be contributed for the teachers and educator in teaching and learning of research of methodology in biology education.

    Designing and Developing a New Model of Education Surau and Madrasah Minangkabau Indonesia

    The purpose of this research was to design and develop a new model of education surau and madrasah Minangkabau (SMM) Indonesia. The method used is educational design research with phase: preliminary research, prototyping phase, and assessment phase. The participants of this research are 120 social religious activists as practitioners and 3 experts. The instrument used is validation and observation sheets. Means and standard deviation are calculated for finding the level of validity and observation of the implementation of the prototype. The result shows that the characteristics of the prototype are an organization, Minangkabau knowledge, pedagogical competencies, and social awareness. A process of design, a new model education SMM develops based on reality and good practical education. At the construction of the model, a new model education SMM is constructed by a specific program. At modernization of the education system, a new model education SMM must consist of Islamic and indigenes Minangkabau value. At flexible pedagogies and intervention, a new model education SMM requires new pedagogical ideas or themes and a special intervention from Islamic universities and stakeholders. In conclusion, design and develop a new model SMM Indonesia have the relevancy and internal consistency to stop the "stationary phase or run slowly" of surau and madrasah

    Sistem Informasi Administrasi Kesiswaan merupakan suatu sistem yang dibangun untuk mengelola data-data kesiswaan sehingga memberikan kemudahan dalam melakukan kegiatan administrasi sekolah. Dalam hal ini, SMA Negeri 21 Palembang penulis jadikan sebagai tempat penelitian, karena sistem informasi kesiswaan yang ada di sekolah tersebut belum terkelola dengan baik akibatnya seling mengalami kesulitan dalam pelaksanaan aktivitas-aktivitas kesiswaan yang ada, seperti proses pengelolaan data osis, prestasi, ekskul, piagam, data gerakan anti rokok, alcohol, narkoba dan pornografi, penerapan evaluasi tata tertib, data razia, pelanggaran siswa, bimbingan konseling, penerimaan siswa baru dan daftar alumni. Tujuan dilaksanakannya skripsi ini adalah untuk merancang sistem infromasi administrasi kesiswaan pada SMA Negeri 21 Palembang. Dalam pembuatannya penulis menggunakan metodologi iterasi dimana setiap tahapan atau fase dapat dilaksanakan secara berulang-ulang sampai mendapatkan hasil yang diinginkan dengan tahapan yaitu investigasi, analisis, desig ,dan implementasi Untuk membuat aplikasi ini penulis menggunakan Microsoft Visual Basic 2008 dan Microsoft SQL Server 2008.     Monte Carlo is a simulation method that using random numbers obtained from Linear Congruential Generator (multiplicative generator) as an approximation in estimating the number of visitors using previous time visitor data. The number of visitors who come to use internet services on internet cafes is often difficult to predict. Apart from some indicators that affect or may be experienced by the cafe owner with the activities of the internet service, it will predicted the number of visitors using visitor data from 60 days ago with linear method congruential generator as scrambler and monte carlo method as estimator. The results obtained is the estimated number of visitor in uniform distribution [0,1] for the next 60 days that can be used as information for cafe owner

    Prospective Biology Teachers’ View towards Theory of Evolution: A Case Study at Islamic University in Indonesia

    This study was to investigate prospective biology teachers' views towards the theory of evolution at Islamic university. This study was concerned to investigate the quality of the instruments, the profile of literacy, attitudes, and religiosity of PBTs-IU, and the relationship between literacy and attitude towards the theory of evolution with religiosity. An explanatory mixed method was conducted by using a quantitative survey and in-depth interviews. A total of 153 (16 males and 137 females) from 185 prospective biology teachers at Islamic University (PBTs-IU) participated in filling out the questionnaire. Confirmatory factor analysis and Cronbach's alpha tests have been conducted to examine the quality of the instrument. PBTs-IU profiles were analyzed by descriptive statistical test, and a correlation test was used to determine the relationship between variables. Furthermore, triangulation was chosen to analyze the results of the interviews. The results of this study showed that the instruments used are valid and reliable, the profile of literacy, attitudes, and religiosity of PBTs-IU was high level, and there was a positive and significant relationship at the 0.01 and 0.05 levels between literacy and religiosity and attitudes and religiosity. These findings concluded that PBTs-IU have good knowledge of the theory of evolution, and PBTs-IU also have strong religious beliefs
