The present study was carried out to compare social skills among Iranian students. The primary purpose of this study was to examine the effect of social skills training on communication ability of deprived students. 864 high school students in Mahallat city were randomly selected by clustering method and were evaluated by using social skills training inventory (Indrebitzen and Foster, 1992). According to scores of social skills Inventory, students divided into two groups including 31 students with social skills training and 31 students without social skills training as control group. Group members were evaluated before and after 10 training sessions. ANCOVA was used for group comparisons in pretest and post -test. In general, results showed that social skills training method increased positive social skills and decreased negative social skills in experimental group. However, scores of negative and positive social skills in control group had no difference in pretest and posttest. On the other hand, training sessions was effective in increasing social adaptive, personal efficacy and prevention of traumas

Viral Outbreaks of SARS-CoV1, SARS-CoV2, MERS-CoV, Influenza H1N1, and Ebola in 21st Century; A Comparative Review of the Pathogenesis and Clinical Characteristics

Throughout the past twenty years, humankind had its fair share of challenges with viral epidemics. In late December 2019, a zoonotic member of the coronaviruses was responsible for the COVID-19 outbreak of viral pneumonia in Wuhan, China. As a worldwide crisis, meanwhile, conclusive prevention or therapy has yet to be discovered, the death toll of COVID-19 has exceeded 278000 by May 11th, 2020. Alike other members of Coronavirus family such as MERS and SARS-CoV-1, SARS-CoV-2 provokes influenza-like syndrome which might further progress to the severe state of acute respiratory disease in some patients. Comparably, in 2009 the H1N1 influenza outbreak affected countless people by manifestations of respiratory system involvement. Additionally, Ebolavirus, as a member of the Filoviridae family, had also made a global catastrophe by causing hemorrhagic diseases in the past twenty years.  The unknown intrinsic nature of SARS-CoV-2, as a great missing piece of this pandemic puzzle, has had physicians to empirically test the possibly efficacious agents of the former viral epidemics on the COVID-19 cases. Here, the current knowledge in SARS-CoV-2 clinical features, transmissibility, and pathogenicity are all summed up as against the other emerging viruses in the last two decades, and the data crucially required for a better management of the illness has been spotlighted

In today's competitive world, applying new techniques to business development has a great impact. The restaurant industry is no exception. Therefore, in this research, using new methods of knowledge discovery and data mining, customer data of chain restaurant is investigated. The purpose of this study was to explore customer behavior patterns using data mining methods. In this study, one million and five hundred thousand customer records were reviewed in five branches of a chain restaurant and two stages of clustering modeling using RFM method and then classification modeling were performed on the data and the behavior rules chain restaurant customers were extracted. The results of this study have helped to identify the loyal and profitable customers of the chain restaurant which has led to the improvement of the profitability of the chain restaurant. One of the innovations of this research has been the communication between clustering and classification results

Introduction and objective: The role of spirometry in the diagnosis of restrictive lung diseases is unclear. This study investigated the sensitivity and specificity of the forced expiratory flow 25–75 (FEF25–75)/forced vital capacity (FVC) parameter in diagnosing restrictive lung disease. Methods: In this study, the records of all restrictive patients who were referred to the pulmonary centre of Imam Khomeini Hospital, Tehran, Iran, from March 2021–March 2022 have been reviewed, and the indexes in the body box and spirometry have been recorded. Results: A total of 527 people were included in the study. Among them, 134 people (25.4%) had restrictive lung disease. The average area under the graph of the FEF25–75/FVC index is 0.648±0.028. It can be said that the area under the graph for the FEF25–75/FVC index is between 0.594–0.703. The FEF25–75/FVC index at values above 79.90 has a sensitivity of 70.9% and a false positive rate (1- specificity) of 53.2%. Conclusions: According to the result of this study, the ratio of FEF25–75/FVC index in spirometry at above 79.90 has a sensitivity of 70.9% and a false positive rate (1- specificity) of 53.2%. Therefore, it can be used as a screening test for restrictive lung diseases

Abstract Background: Sperm vitrification is a technique of ice and cryoprotectant free cryopreservation by direct plunging of sperm suspension into liquid nitrogen (LN2). The aim of this study was to investigate the influence of cryoprotectant free-vitrification on human sperm fine structure by MSOME technology and the fertility potential by zona binding assay (ZBA). Methods: 20 normo-ejaculates were prepared by swim up technique, and supernatants were divided into two parts of fresh and vitrified groups. For vitrification, sperm was dropped into LN2. Sperm motility, morphology, viability and MSOME were evaluated for each sample. In MSOM morphologically normal sperm (class 1), ≤2 small vacuoles (class 2), and one large vacuole or >2 small vacuoles (class 3) were evaluated. Also, fertility potential was evaluated by zona binding assay. Data was analyzed using paired t-test or Willcoxon's test and p-value <0.05 was considered significant. Results: Vitrification significantly reduced both progressive motility, viability and morphology. Also, normal morphology of spermatozoa decreased significantly after vitrification. In MSOME evaluation, normal motile spermatozoa (Class 1) decreased from 23.00±12.44 to 16.00.56±10.79 after vitrification (p=0.008). Although spermatozoa classes 2 and 3 were increased, the difference was not significant. Moreover, fertility potential of motile spermatozoa was reduced after vitrification (9.0±13.87 vs. 13.40±22.73; p=0.07). Conclusion: Vitrification increased the rate of vacuolization in motile sperm head. Therefore, MSOME technology is recommended for assessment of sperm fine morphology in ICSI program used cryopreserved spermatozoa
