Discussing the Impact of Emergency on the Justification and Justification of Suicide

It does not seem unlikely the permissibility of suicide in cases of mutual trouble -that has the more important criteria- and also where one is distressed and is suffering from a terminal disease, since the verses and traditions indicating the illegality of suicide are either unrelated to these cases and/or the subject of the reasons for emergency and the emergency rule includes these cases contrary to the majority opinion and the reason and traditions of the learned do not denounce the suicide.   Keywords Suicide; Emergency; intrude; metho

This is an open access article distributed under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY), https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/Critical issues with current detection systems are their susceptibility to adverse weather conditions and constraint on the vertical field view of the radars limiting the ability of such systems to accurately detect the height of the targets. In this paper, a novel multi-range radar (MRR) arrangement (i.e. triple: long-range, medium-range, and short-range radars) based on the sensor fusion technique is investigated that can detect objects of different sizes in a level 2 advanced driver-assistance system. To improve the accuracy of the detection system, the resilience of the MRR approach is investigated using the Monte Carlo (MC) method for the first time. By adopting MC framework, this study shows that only a handful of fine-scaled computations are required to accurately predict statistics of the radar detection failure, compared to many expensive trials. The results presented huge computational gains for such a complex problem. The MRR approach improved the detection reliability with an increased mean detection distance (4.9% over medium range and 13% over long range radar) and reduced standard deviation over existing methods (30% over medium range and 15% over long-range radar). This will help establishing a new path toward faster and cheaper development of modern vehicle detection systems.Peer reviewe

For more information, see https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/Energy harvesting (EH), as an enabling technology of energy derivation from ambient sources, has attracted much research attention in wireless sensor network (WSN) context. The magnetic energy harvester (MEH) introduces ambient energy harvesters' most promising technological development. This paper presents a review and analysis of MEH applications in WSN like vehicular systems and technologies. The successful approaches are introduced and classified based on technical characteristics and working principles. The fundamentals of their operation are discussed in detail, and the power points of each method are reviewed. To select the optimal energy harvester, in this work a case study is provided for feeding navigational sensors mounted on a rotating wheel of vehicles. Finally, the performance of the developed MEH model is evaluated and discussed for harvesting energy at the rotating wheels of a ground vehicle. To offer electromagnetic field analysis of the studied MEH, the simulations are performed in Ansys Maxwell software for further harvested power evaluation.Peer reviewe

Catalytic performance in 4-nitrophenol reduction by Ag nanoparticles stabilized on biodegradable amphiphilic copolymers

    No full text
Biodegradable copolymers have received much more attention in the last decades due their potential applications in the fields related to environmental protection, medicine, agriculture, and the chemical processes. Silver nanoparticles (Ag NPs) were prepared via reduction of silver nitrate (AgNO3) using biodegradable amphiphilic copolymers in aqueous solution. The micelles were constructed from the amphiphilic copolymer composed of poly(2-ethyl-2-oxazoline) and poly(ε-caprolactone). The Ag NPs with a diameter of 10–15 nm were found to show a comparable high catalytic activity toward the reduction of 4-nitrophenol (4-NP) in the presence of an excess amount of NaBH4. The synthesized Ag NPs-loaded copolymer exhibits high catalytic activity for the reduction of 4-NP to 4-aminophenol

Reinforced Lattice Kalman Filters: A Robust Nonlinear Estimation Strategy

    No full text
This article introduces the Sliding Innovation Lattice Filter (SILF), a robust extension of the Lattice Kalman Filter (LKF) that leverages sliding mode theory. SILF incorporates a sliding boundary layer in the measurement update formulation, enabling the filter innovation to slide within predefined upper and lower bounds. This enhances the robustness of SILF, making it resilient to model uncertainties and noise. Additionally, a derivative-free formulation of SILF is developed using statistical linear regression, eliminating the need for Jacobian calculations. To further improve accuracy, robustness, and convergence behavior in the presence of abrupt changes in system model/parameters, SILF is reinforced with the Iterated Sigma Point Filtering and Strong Tracking Filtering strategies, resulting in the Reinforced Lattice Kalman Filter (RLKF). The experimental findings for the estimation of distorted power waveforms illustrate the superior performance of SILF and RLKF over competing methods, especially when operating in scenarios characterized by model uncertainties and noisy environments

Core‐shell nanofibers for developing self‐healing materials: Recent progress and future directions

    No full text
The knowledge of self‐healing was developed to ensure more durable and reliable engineering materials. Healing agent encapsulation has shown to be one of the most promising approaches in self‐healing technology. The healing agents were encapsulated within micro/nanocapsules, micro/nanofibers, and vascular‐based networks. Among the methods, using core‐shell nanofibers showed a compromising potential for the development of self‐healing nanofibers with the minimum drawbacks and limitations. The aim of the present paper is to report the recent contributions on the recent progress of self‐healing materials using core‐shell nanofibers to provide insights for the further development of self‐healing polymeric materials both in academic research and scalable fabrication of polymeric parts in the industries
