Tech for good, a stimulator of social innovation: The Moroccan case

This article explores how the emerging concept of Tech for Good, using technology to solve social and environmental problems, can catalyze social innovation and generate large-scale positive impact. Based on a recent literature review on social innovation and Tech for Good, the study highlights the importance of a genuine "Tech for Good" inspired by capability theory, offering development opportunities based on the talents expressed by individuals, while considering their potential capabilities. The article also explores the interconnection between technology and social innovation, highlighting the impact of Tech for Good on social transformation. Concrete initiatives, such as DabaDoc in Morocco, testify to the commitment of local players to using technology for social solutions.
