Developing Curriculum and Tasks for Teaching Reading

This paper is aimed at proposing a curriculum and task design for teaching reading to students of an English teacher training. The curriculum discusses the needs and context analysis, goals, objectives, beliefs, content organization, task design, learning assessment and evaluation of the course. While being skill-oriented on one hand, the curriculum works towards a more process or discourse-oriented design. This is done to cater for the needs to build students' reading skills, understanding of text's construction and positive attitudes towards reading as not merely a means of acquiring a full command in the target language but also a tool to access knowledge and advancement

FTIR studies on the effect of concentration of polyethylene glycol on polimerization of Shellac

© Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd. In the present paper, it was reported the FTIR studies on the efect of polyethylene glycol on polimerization of shellac. The shellac was shellac waxfree, and the solvent was ethanol 96%. The shellac films were were prepared by solvent- evaporation method. The concentrations of polyethylene glycol having molecular weight of 400 were 10, 30, 60, and 90 w/w %. Three peak intensity bands of C= O stretching of ester at 1709 cm-1, O-H stretching of hydroxyl group at 3400 cm-1, and C-H stretching vibration at 2942 cm-1 were observed and related to polimerization of shellac. It was found that polymerization of shellac was slowed down by polyethyelene glycol, and the degree of polymerization of shellac decreased with increasing the concentration of polyethyelene glycol

This research aims to know and describe the process of implementation and the result of implementation individual taxpayer identification number registration service with e-registration that is done by pratama surabaya tax service office.The kind of research that was used a descriptive. The results of the research have been process of implementation individual taxpayer identification number registration service through e-registration by pratama surabaya tax service office has been good and match with SE-20/PJ/2013. It is proved with increasing the taxpayer and the user electronic registration service with e-registration each years with the contribution realization increase each years. Obstacles that arose from the implementation of this program are user's are depended to the system and connecting of internet, the number of human resources and the level of understanding about taxpayer while supporter factor come from surabaya government, the citizens awareness and time efficiency that is nedeed

Penuntutan Perkara Pidana Perikanan Menurut Undang-undang Nomor 45 Tahun 2009 Tentang Perubahan Undang-undang No. 31 Tahun 2004 Tentang Perikanan

Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana proses penuntutan perkara pidana perikanan menurut Undang-Undang Nomor 45 Tahun 2009 dan bagaimana praktek penuntutan perkara pidana perikanan pada pengadilan perikanan dan pengadilan negeri. Dengan menggunakan metode penelitian yuridis normative, maka dapat disimpulkan: 1. Proses pengadilan perkara pidana perikanan Undang-Undangmenghendaki penyelesaian perkara dengan cepat. Dimulai dari tingkat penyidikan yang dilakukan oleh PPNS Perikanan, Perwira TNI-AL dan Pejabat Polisi Negara. Di tingkat penuntutan perkara perikanan ditangani oleh penuntut umum yang khusus untuk perkara tersebut. Penuntut umum perikanan di rektrut dari penuntut umumyang telah berpengalaman dua tahun mengikuti pendidikan di bidang perikanan. Dan ditingkat pemeriksaan sidang pengadilan yang dilakukan oleh hakim karier dan Hakim ad hoc. 2. Perkara perikanan diadili oleh pengadilan khusus yaitu pengadilan perikanan yang keberadaannya berada di pengadilan negeri. Sementara ini baru ada tujuh pengadilan perikanan pada Pengadilan Negeri Medan, Pengadilan Negeri Jakarta Utara, Pengadilan Negeri Pontianak, Pengadilan Negeri Bitung, Pengadilan Negeri Tual, Pengadilan Negeri Tanjung Pinang dan Pengadilan Negeri Ranai. Meskipun telah dibentuk pengadilan negeri perikanan, namun pengadilan negeri yang belum ada pengadilan perikanannya masih berwenang mengadili perkara perikanan

Factors Associated with Age of Menarche in Class VIII Students of MTsN Bukittinggi

Puberty in our lives usually begins at the age of 8 to 10 years and ending approximately at the age of 15 to 16 years, the onset of puberty in women is characterized by rapid physical growth, menarche, psychological changes and the emergence of secondary sex characteristics. Many factors internal and external factors related to the occurrence of menarche. Internal factors such as the status of maternal menarche (genetic), and external factors such as social, economic, nutrition, exposure to mass media and lifestyle. Thus the purpose of this study was to determine the factors associated with age at menarche VIII grade student MTsN type 1 Bukitinggi 2016. This study used descriptive qualitative approach is too in-depth interviews with 5 participants (students of class VIII). This research was conducted on 2 September 2016. The results of interviews conducted in participants gained five themes in this study are 1) Knowledge of menarche symptoms, 2) Genetic Influence, 3) Nutritional Status, 4) Habits Everyday, 5). Watching Tv activity. Suggestions For the results of this study can be used as reference materials and reference for other researchers associated with the research and increase knowledge and information to the participants about menarche
