    The Xeroxed Book

1 volume, 185 pages. The Xeroxed Book is based on Carl Andre, Robert Barry, Douglas Huebler, Joseph Kosuth, Sol LeWitt, Robert Morris, Lawrence Weiner - an artists book published by Seth Siegelaub and John Wendler in 1969 that is more commonly known as The Xerox Book. The Xerox Book was conceived as an exhibition in book form: Siegelaub invited the seven titular artists to submit 25-page projects designed to be reproduced by the then-new technology of the photocopy. However, photocopying proved too expensive at the time, and the book was printed on a traditional offset press. The Xeroxed Book is a photocopied edition of the Xerox Book. Being photocopied, The Xeroxed Book is perhaps closer to Siegelaub\u27s intent than the original book. However, as a second-generation copy, The Xeroxed Book displays the limitations of photocopying as a reproductive technology. Dust, page edges, distortions, and other familiar Xerox artifacts appear on every page, becoming as much a part of the reading experience as the original artists\u27 projects.https://digitalcommons.risd.edu/specialcollections_artistsbooks/1213/thumbnail.jp

The definitive version was published in Ecological Economics 68 (2009): 2354-2362, doi:10.1016/j.ecolecon.2009.03.016.A major challenge in gauging long-term and cumulative impacts of fisheries management on coastal fishing communities is the lack of understanding of the interactions between changes in fish stocks and waterfront land uses. This study examines these interactions in the New Bedford/Fairhaven area using parcel level data and geographic information system (GIS) tools. Logistic regression models were used to assess the impact of changes in marine resource abundance on waterfront land uses. Although land-use decisions are influenced by many complex market and regulatory factors, our study detected a significant relationship between fish stock conditions and coastal land uses. This research was supported by the National Atmospheric and Oceanic Administration (NOAA) through the WHOI/NOAA Cooperative Institute on Climate and Ocean Research (CICOR) under award number NA17RJ1223 and by the Marine Policy Center of the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution

In recent years, the field of workforce development has emerged as a distinct area of policy and practice. While planning scholars have begun to engage with the workforce development field, its relevance and points of connection to planning scholarship remain underexplored. This article attempts to define the workforce development field by articulating its core concerns as well as its domains of practice and scholarship outside the planning field. The article locates workforce development within three stands of planning scholarship, concluding that workforce development represents an important bridge for planners between “place” and “people” prosperity within communities
