Local Invariants and Pairwise Entanglement in Symmetric Multi-qubit System

Pairwise entanglement properties of a symmetric multi-qubit system are analyzed through a complete set of two-qubit local invariants. Collective features of entanglement, such as spin squeezing, are expressed in terms of invariants and a classifcation scheme for pairwise entanglement is proposed. The invariant criteria given here are shown to be related to the recently proposed (Phys. Rev. Lett. 95, 120502 (2005)) generalized spin squeezing inequalities for pairwise entanglement in symmetric multi-qubit states.Comment: 9 pages, 2 figures, REVTEX, Replaced with a published versio

Robust Bain distortion in the premartensite phase of platinum substituted Ni2MnGa magnetic shape memory alloy

The premartensite phase of shape memory and magnetic shape memory alloys (MSMAs) is believed to be a precursor state of the martensite phase with preserved austenite phase symmetry. The thermodynamic stability of the premartensite phase and its relation to the martensitic phase is still an unresolved issue, even though it is critical to the understanding of the functional properties of MSMAs. We present here unambiguous evidence for macroscopic symmetry breaking leading to robust Bain distortion in the premartensite phase of 10% Pt substituted Ni2MnGa. We show that the robust Bain distorted premartensite (T2) phase results from another premartensite (T1) phase with preserved cubic-like symmetry through an isostructural phase transition. The T2 phase finally transforms to the martensite phase with additional Bain distortion on further cooling. Our results demonstrate that the premartensite phase should not be considered as a precursor state with the preserved symmetry of the cubic austenite phase

Analysis of the age structure of Dahurian larch (Larix gmelinii Rupr.) forests in the western part of the Putorana Plateau (Sukhie Gory Range) and comparison of diachronous topographic maps and satellite images have revealed changes in the altitudinal position of the upper boundary of tree vegetation. the most significant changes occurred on south- and southwest-facing slopes. Correlations of trunk diameters with the phytomass of trees and its fractions have been found. the course of changes in the structure and phytomass of tree stands in the upper timberline over the past centuries has been reconstructed. Forest expansion has been facilitated by the general change in climate conditions (warming) in the study area. This study was supported by the Russian Science Foundation, project no. 17-14-01112

    Macrorealism from entropic Leggett-Garg inequalities

We formulate entropic Leggett-Garg inequalities, which place constraints on the statistical outcomes of temporal correlations of observables. The information theoretic inequalities are satisfied if macrorealism holds. We show that the quantum statistics underlying correlations between time-separated spin component of a quantum rotor mimics that of spin correlations in two spatially separated spin-ss particles sharing a state of zero total spin. This brings forth the violation of the entropic Leggett-Garg inequality by a rotating quantum spin-ss system in similar manner as does the entropic Bell inequality (Phys. Rev. Lett. 61, 662 (1988)) by a pair of spin-ss particles forming a composite spin singlet state.Comment: 5 pages, RevTeX, 2 eps figures, Accepted for publication in Phys. Rev.

Fruit development studies were taken up in white and pink types of wax apple trees aging twelve years old at Goa, India. The study was initiated with the onset of flowering in November during the year 2018. After tagging the flowers on anthesis, samples were drawn periodically to record parameters like fruit weight, fruit volume, fruit length and diameter (upper, middle and lower), quality or biochemical parameters like total acids and sugars. Relative growth rate (RGR) was calculated for all parameters and graphs were generated. In both the types, fruit weight, fruit volume, fruit length and diameter increased in a sigmoidal pattern. The quality characters like TSS, total acids and total sugars also showed a sigmoidal pattern of increase whereas the increase in reducing sugars exhibited a double sigmoidal pattern of increase. It was evident from the curves that there was pronounced peak in growth rate between 21 and 28 days after anthesis for fruit weight, fruit volume, fruit length and diameter, in both pink and white types of wax apple

    Non-local properties of a symmetric two-qubit system

Non-local properties of symmetric two-qubit states are quantified in terms of a complete set of entanglement invariants. We prove that negative values of some of the invariants are signatures of quantum entanglement. This leads us to identify sufficient conditions for non-separability in terms of entanglement invariants. Non-local properties of two-qubit states extracted from (i) Dicke state (ii) state generated by one-axis twisting Hamiltonian, and (iii) one-dimensional Ising chain with nearest neighbour interaction are analyzed in terms of the invariants characterizing them.Comment: 5 pages, no figure

E_Commerce becomes far much popular in recent years. E Commerce nowadays is almost everywhere. People go through online ; meanwhile, they are more and more accustomed to buy goods via E_Commerce channel. - The E-Commerce web sites are facing lots of problems today. Customers prefer traditional way to purchase the products and not from E-Commerce web sites. If we see the history of E-Commerce, then we get that E-Commerce is the purpose of Internet and the web to conduct business Even in recession, it is thriving and has become one of the most important consumption modes. This study uses cluster analysis to identify the profiles of E_Commerce consumers. The rules between E_Commerce spokespersons and commodities from consumers are recognized by using association analysis. Depicting the marketing knowledge map of spokespersons, the best endorsement portfolio is found out to make recommendations. By the analysis of spokespersons, period, customer profiles and products, four business modes of E_Commerce are proposed for consumers: new product, knowledge, low price and luxury product; the related recommendations are also provided for the industry reference

Service computing is one of Internet-based computing, whereas the shared configurable resources (e.g., infrastructure, platform, and software) are provided to computers and other devices are as services. Strongly promoted by the leading industrial companies like, Amazon, Google, Microsoft, IBM, etc, In recent years, service computing are quickly becoming popular. Applications are deployed in real time environment are typically large scale and complex. The rising popularity of service computing, it is how to build high-quality service applications it becomes an urgently required research problem. In Similar, the traditional component-based systems, cloud applications are typically involves multiple cloud components communicating with each other over application programming interfaces, through web services. On-functional performance of cloud services are usually described by the quality-of-service (QoS). QoS is an important research topic in cloud computing. When the creation optimal cloud service selection from a set of functionally corresponding services, QoS values are of cloud services provided the valuable information to assist decision making. The component-based systems, software components are invoked locally in tradition, while in cloud applications, the cloud services are invoked remotely by Internet connections. To evade the slow and expensive real-world service invocation QoS ranking prediction framework is used. This framework requires no extra invocations of cloud services when making QoS ranking prediction can implement novel collaborative filtering approach to recommend the web services with improved performance.
