RECURSOS, CONTROLE E AUTONOMIA NA GESTÃO INTERNACIONAL DE SERVIÇOS DE UMA EMPRESA DE TI E SUBSIDIÁRIAS
This study analyzes the characteristics of the Globally Integrated Management Services (GIMS) of a multinational Information Technology and subsidiaries. The study also explores: 1) how the matrix manages resources and deals with the paradox of control and autonomy of the subsidiaries and 2) some differences of the Globally Integrated Management Services (GIMS) the other models of international management: export of services, multinational and transnational. To conduct this research was accompanied GIMS in the deployment of a parent and subsidiary company. The research methodology is qualitative, descriptive and exploratory study, conducted through a case study in parent and subsidiary. Data collection was conducted through interviews with 25 executives of American parent and subsidiary in Brazil. The results show that the adoption of GIMS model generates a relatively utilization of the resources, competencies stimulating local and combines power and control mechanisms of action given matrix with autonomy and independence of the subsidiaries

This paper analyzes the Global Integrate Service Management (GISM) under the optic of GarethMorgan’s metaphors. The GISM comprehends a international service management model,composed by specific characteristics that make it different from the classic multinational companyor the Transnationals. The international managementmodels and its evolution were analyzed andcompared to the administration theories in a deep literature revision. The GISM is a high profitablemanagement model, once that it’s take advantage ofbest available resources from the subsidiariesin each country, supported by market openings and operations flexibility, generating best resourceusage, control and actions autonomy for headquarters and subsidiary independency in aorchestrated way. Análise da Gestão de Serviços Globalmente Integrada sob a Ótica das Metáforas

apresentadas por Gareth Morgan. A GSGI compreende um modelo de gestão de serviços
internacional, composto por características específicas que o diferencial da multinacional clássica e
as transnacionais. Foi analisada a evolução dos modelos de administração internacional de serviços
e explorada a sua correlação com os diversos contextos das escolas de administração em profunda
análise bibliográfica. Sendo a GSGI um modelo de gestão altamente rentável, uma vez que extrai
os melhores recursos disponíveis das subsidiárias em cada país, apoiada pela abertura de mercado
e flexibilidade de operações, gerando um alto aproveitamento dos recursos, controle e poder de ação da matriz e independência das subsidiárias de forma conjugada, o seu estudo é de grande
importância para a comunidade acadêmica e administradores, no sentido de consolidar
conhecimentos em uma área relativamente pouco explorada, relacionada a gestão internacional de
serviços, operada através das redes globais de subsidiárias
