A Case Study on Effective Use of Active Learning Strategies to Increase Learner Engagement in Digital Marketing Course
The usage of active learning approaches for the delivery of courses can enhance the learning ability of students. This case study establishes the effectiveness of active learning strategies and benefits in grasping the curriculum which is a central concept of student-centered learning, derived from the productive approach. This study focuses on the Course in Digital Marketing where there is a scope to enhance and encourage active participation of students to explore and configure recent tools such as Blogger, Google Ads, Facebook Ads manager, small SEO tools to name a few. The students can analyze and review the performance of advertising campaigns with the Analytics tool and suggest improvement plans based on performance metrics. The active learning approach enhances their interpersonal, and communication skills and a chance for employability in the field of marketing or have their own business ventures
Critical study of Mamsadhara Kala
Every concept of Ayurveda has its own importance. There are many concepts mentioned in the classics are scientific and worth understanding in modern words. Among these concepts Acharya Sushruta mentioned Sapta Kalas in the body. While considering upon the Ashaya they had also thought of the linings making internal walls of the Ashaya, designating them as Kala. They presented it in a very silent way. Among the Sapta Kala, Mamsadhara Kala is one described by Sushruta and other Acharyas. There are 3 layers of connective tissue which extended from the deep fascia and protects and give strength to the skeletal muscle. They are epimysium, perimysium and endomysium, they may extend beyond the muscle fiber to form tendons. So by this we can understand the Mamsadhara Kala in gross anatomy, i.e. fascia or deep fascia and in the histological level it can be taken as Endomysium. So the collection and comprehensive review of information regarding Mamsadhara Kala becomes significant. Review on Shukradhara Kalaa and its applied aspect
According to Sushruta the Kalaa has been defined as interior receptacles for Dhatus and act as a separator for Dhatus from their Ashaya. They are inner most lining limit between Dhatu and Ashaya which are seven in number. In the series of Sapta Kalaa, Shukradhara Kalaa is seventh in number. Before we go for the applied anatomy of the Shukradhara Kalaa it becomes important to know where the Kalaa is situated or spreaded and so that we can understand the clinical importance of Kalaa. In classics it is been said that Shukradhara Kalaa is spreaded in entire body of the living being. For the applied aspect point of view for the understanding of Shukradhara Kalaa we should have knowledge of Shukravaha Srotas. So here we have to understand what are the structures involved in the formation of Shukravahava Srotas and its Moolasthana and Shukradhara Kalaa and their Anatomy, Pathophysiological changes in their respective structures and its management. Assessment of the Relationship Between Matrix Metalloproteinase-9 Promoter Gene Polymorphism and Chronic Periodontitis
Objective: To evaluate the association of MMP-9 promoter gene polymorphism in generalized chronic periodontitis patients of an Indian population. Material and Methods: Eighty patients were selected and divided into case and control groups (n=40). Patients included were aged 15-60 years of both genders and diagnosed with chronic periodontitis. Peripheral venous blood samples were obtained, and genomic DNA was isolated by a 'salting out' method. Three possible genotypes were distinguished by three distinct banding patterns, depending on the presence or absence of the Sph I restriction site: CC as allele 1, TT as allele 2, and CT, respectively. Statistical analysis was carried out by applying the Chi-squared test and One-way ANOVA. Results: There was a significant difference in MMP-9 genotypes between Chronic periodontitis patients and healthy controls. Odds ratios for CT genotype and combination of CT and TT genotypes were 3.125 (95% confidence interval, p=0.028) and 3.667 (95% confidence interval, p=0.006) relative to subjects with CC genotype, respectively. Conclusion: The present study revealed an association of MMP-9 (-1562 C/T) gene polymorphism with generalised chronic periodontitis

Point of care real-time polymerase chain reaction-based diagnostic for Kyasanur forest disease
Objectives: Due to the remote forest area locations of sporadic cases and outbreaks of Kyasanur forest disease (KFD), rapid diagnosis poses a significant challenge. This study aimed to evaluate the diagnostic performance of Truenat KFD, a simple, rapid and user-friendly point-of-care test for detection of KFD and compare diagnostic accuracy with conventional real-time reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) testing. Truenat KFD can be deployed in a field laboratory setting. Methods: The study involved 145 clinical specimens, including human serum, monkey necropsy tissues and tick pool, to validate Truenat KFD (Molbio Diagnostics Pvt.Ltd.) for KFD diagnosis. Results: We have optimized and validated the microchip-based Truenat KFD (Molbio Diagnostics Pvt.Ltd.) for KFD diagnosis. Point-of-care testing was highly sensitive and specific, with a detection limit of up to 10 copies of KFD viral RNA. Results were comparable with the gold-standard TaqMan and commercially available Altona RealStar AHFV / KFDV real-time RT-PCR assays. Screening results for human, monkey and tick specimens were 100% concordant across the assays. Conclusion: Truenat KFD(Molbio Diagnostics Pvt.Ltd.) was found to be highly sensitive and specific with a significant limit of detection. This point-of-care test would be useful in rapid diagnosis of KFD in remote and/or field settings, quick patient management and control of virus spread
