    PENGARUH PELATIHAN KETERAMPILAN BELAJAR MANDIRI TERHADAP MOTIVASI BELAJAR MAHASISWA PADA PENDIDIKAN JARAK JAUH

    This study aims to determine the effect of the Independent Learning Skills Training on student motivation in distance learning systems at UPBJJ-UT Ternate. The research sample was new Bidikmisi scholarship students in UPBJJ-UT 2019.2 registration period, namely 20 students. The results of the regression analysis produce the equation Y = a + bX = 5.274 + 1.337X. This means that each increase in the quality of Independent Skills Training by 1 unit will increase Student Learning Motivation by 1,337. The coefficient of determination (R Square) of 0.712 explains that the contribution of the influence of the PKBM variable (X) to the Learning Motivation variable (Y) is 71.20%. While the remaining 28.80% is influenced by other variables not examined. Based on these results, the researcher proposes that UT should continue to be able to improve PKBM standards to be better so that it helps new UT students in their learning process. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, maka peneliti mengusulkan agar UT harus terus dapat meningkatkan standar PKBM sehingga semakin baik dan dapat membantu mahasiswa baru UT dalam menjalani proses belajarnya

    Relefansi Sharing Economy dalam Pengembangan UMKM Pasca Covid-19

    The purpose of this study was to determine the relevance of the sharing economy in the development of SMEs after COVID-19. This research method is library research. This research is studied using the concept of switching behavior approach by Boyle. The results show that, from the push aspect, the increasingly modern development of IT and the ability to reach market share are the reasons for sharing economy companies to survive and grow. From the pull aspect, the high level of profit and the lack of regulations governing the sharing economy have made many large companies invest in companies based on the sharing economy. Lastly, from the mooring aspect, the number of internet users and the instant behavior of millennials, make the sharing economy a business sector that still exists because it already has a mooring in the form of a large market share and the number is very large.     Keunggulan Bersaing UMKM Berbasis Sumber Daya di Tengah Pandemi Covid-19

    This study aims to describe the strategic steps that can be applied by MSMEs, in order to be able to utilize their resources to achieve competitive advantage, especially in conditions of uncertainty, such as the current covid-19 pandemic. The method used in this research is library research. The steps for collecting information and data are carried out in stages, starting from: (i) Design, (ii) Implementation, (iii) Analysis, and (iv) Compiling and writing a review. The results show that in achieving competitive advantage there are many resource variables that influence it. The results showed that the variables of innovation ability and creativity are resources that have a dominant influence on competitive advantage. In addition, another dominant variable that also affects competitive advantage is HR, because HR holds an important key in running the MSE business, including in creating various innovations and creativity. For this reason, the strategic steps that must be taken by MSMEs are to increase innovation and creativity, if they want to survive and be able to compete in any conditions, especially in conditions of uncertainty. Like Darwin's theory of evolution: The Survival of the Fittest, SMEs must be prepared to adapt to changes in the environment that affect business.     ANALISIS PELUANG DAN TANTANGAN PERGURUAN TINGGGI BERDASARKAN BAURAN PEMASARAN (STUDI KASUS UPBJJ-UT TERNATE)

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur peluang dan tantangan UPBJJ-UT Ternate melalui bauran pemasaran jasa perguruan tinggi yang meliputi produk, harga, tempat, promosi, sumber daya manusia, aktivitas operasional dan sarana dan prasarana. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber informasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XII di Maluku Utara dengan total sampel sebanyak 802 Siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan model dari Milles dan Michael Huberman dengan tahapan pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) Pada aspek produk, siswa lebih mempertimbangkan perguruan tinggi yang memiliki program studi/jurusan yang diminati oleh siswa; 2). Pada aspek harga, siswa lebih mempertimbangkan perguruan tinggi yang menawarkan biaya SPP yang terjangkau; 3). Pada aspek tempat, siswa lebih mengharapkan perguruan tinggi yang dekat dengan pusat kota; 4). Pada aspek promosi, siswa lebih memilih perguruan tinggi yang melakukan promosi melalui tatap muka langsung di sekolah mereka; 5). Pada aspek sumber daya manusia, siswa lebih mengharapkan perguruan tinggi yang memiliki dosen/tutor dengan kualifikasi pendidikan yang kapabel; 6). Pada aspek aktivitas operasional, siswa lebih mengharapkan perguruan tinggi yang memiliki program pendaftaran mahasiswa baru yang mudah; dan 7). Pada aspek sarana dan prasarana, siswa lebih mengharapkan perguruan tinggi dengan ruang belajar yang nyaman

    UNDERSTANDING STUDENT EXPECTATION AND SATISFACTION TOWARS ONLINE LEARNING IN THE OPEN UNIVERSITY: A STUDY IN ARCHIPELAGIC AREA IN INDONESIA

    The online tutorial is one of the learning methods used by students at the Open University (OP). One main obstacle in delivering online tutorial in OP is the accessibility of the internet, especially for the students living in archipelagic areas in Indonesia. This study aims to analyze the level of student satisfaction towards online tutorial activities at OP, especially for the Distance Learning Unit of OP Ternate that located in an archipelagic area with limited internet facilities. The population was the second-semester students come from various regions in Ternate. Research data were collected by distributing online questionnaires. The sample consisted of 24 respondents. Results showed that, in general, students were satisfied with online tutorial services. The level of student satisfaction towards internet access in the online tutorial was 96.04%, and for the aspect of presenting the learning materials, the satisfaction level was up to 100.77%. These findings indicated that student satisfaction exceeds their expectations. Furthermore, student satisfaction level towards the interaction aspect in the online tutorial was 89.92%.     PERANAN TUTOR TERHADAP PENINGKATAN MOTIVASI BELAJAR MAHASISWA PADA PENDIDIKAN JARAK JAUH

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Peranan Tutor terhadap motivasi belajar mahasiswa pada sistem belajar jarak jauh di UPBJJ-UT Ternate. Populasi penelitian adalah mahasiswa UPBJJ-UT Ternate yang menerima beasiswa Bidikmisi dan CSR sebanyak 44 mahasiswa. Dimana seluruh populasi dijadikan sebagai sampel penelitian. Dari hasil analisis regresi menghasilkan persamaan Y = a + bX = 94,020 + 0,364X. Artinya bahwa setiap peningkatan kualitas Peranan Tutor sebesar 1 satuan, maka akan meningkatkan Motivasi Belajar Mahasiswa sebesar 0,364 satuan. Hasil koefisien determinasi R2 (R Square) sebesar 0,716 menjelaskan bahwa presentase sumbangan pengaruh variabel Peranan Tutor (X) terhadap variabel Motivasi Belajar (Y) sebesar 71,60%. Sedangkan sisanya 28,40% dipengaruhi atau dijelaskan oleh variabel lain yang tidak dimasukkan dalam model penelitian ini. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, maka peneliti mengusulkan agar UT harus terus dapat meningkatkan standar kopetensi tutor agar pelaksanaan tutorial semakin baik.- Motivasi Belajar, Peranan Tutor, Pendidikan Jarak Jau

    PENGARUH SARANA BELAJAR DAN MOTIVASI BELAJAR TERHADAP KEMANDIRIAN BELAJAR MAHASISWA (Studi Empirical Pada Mahasiswa Beasiswa Bidikmisi UPBJJ-UT Ternate)

    This study aims to determine the influence of learning facilities and student learning motivation towards the independence of student learning. The result of the research shows that there is positive and significant influence of learning tool (X1) on learning independence (Y). It is obtained by tvalue (2,159) with p = 0,034 <0,05 and ttable at 5% significant level with df = 78 equal to 1,991. There is a positive and significant influence of learning motivation (X2) on learning independence (Y). It is obtained tvalue (7,858) with p = 0,000 <0,05 and ttable at 5% significant level with df = 78 equal to 1,991. There is a positive and significant influence of learning facilities (X1) and learning motivation (X2) simultaneously to the independence of learning (Y). This shows the coefficient of double correlation RY (1,2) = 0,746 and R² = 0,557 and price Fvalue equal to 48,980 with p = 0,000 <0,05 and Ftable = 3,11 at 5% significant level. Coefficient value X1 = 0,186 and X2 = 0,647, constant number equal to 8,650 so that can be made regression equation Y = 8,650 + 0,186X1 + 0,647X2. The higher the learning means (X1) and the learning motivation (X2), the higher the learning independence (Y). Coefficient of Determination is R² of 0,557. Means 55,7% learning independence is explained by learning tools and learning motivation. Meanwhile, 44,3% is explained by other factors not discussed in this study. The study concludes that partially, learning facilities and student learning motivation has a positive and significant effect on student independence (self-sufficiency) in learning.  In addition, both learning facility and motivation have a positive and significant effect on student learning independence or sense of self-sufficiency.   Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh fasilitas belajar dan motivasi belajar siswa terhadap kemandirian belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan sanara belajar (X1) terhadap kemandirian belajar (Y). Hal ini diperoleh dengan nilai thitung (2,159) dengan p = 0,034 <0,05 dan ttabel pada 5% tingkat signifikan dengan df = 78 sama dengan 1,991. Ada pengaruh positif dan signifikan motivasi belajar (X2) pada kemandirian belajar (Y). Diperoleh nilai thitung (7,858) dengan p = 0,000 <0,05 dan ttabel pada taraf signifikan 5% dengan df = 78 sebesar 1,991. Ada pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan dari fasilitas belajar (X1) dan motivasi belajar (X2) secara bersamaan terhadap kemandirian belajar (Y). Hal ini menunjukkan koefisien korelasi ganda RY (1,2) = 0,746 dan R² = 0,557 dan harga Fhitung sebesar 48,980 dengan p = 0,000 <0,05 dan Ftabel = 3,11 pada taraf signifikan 5%. Nilai koefisien X1 = 0,186 dan X2 = 0,647, bilangan konstan sebesar 8,650 sehingga dapat dibuat persamaan regresi Y = 8,650 + 0,186X1 + 0,647X2. Semakin tinggi nilai sarana belajar (X1) dan motivasi belajar (X2), semakin tinggi kemandirian belajar (Y). Koefisien Determinasi adalah R² 0,557. Berarti 55,7% kemandirian belajar dijelaskan oleh alat belajar dan motivasi belajar. Sementara itu, 44,3% dijelaskan oleh faktor-faktor lain yang tidak dibahas dalam penelitian ini. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa secara parsial, baik ketersediaan sarana prasaran belajar dan motivasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan pada kemandirian mahasiswa, dari dari kedua variable tersebut motivasi mempunyai pengaruh lebih besar. Secara simultan ketersediaan sarana prasarana dalam belajar dan pembelajaran, serta motivasi berpengaruh positif terhadap kemandirian belajar

    Tax Avoidance di Indonesia dan Faktor-Faktor yang Mempengaruhinya

    This study aims to prove the effect of Institutional Ownership, Proportion of Independent Commissioners, Audit Committee, Sales Growth, Leverage, Capital Intensity and Inventory Intensity on Tax Avoidance. The sample of this research is 188 manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2015-2019. The sample selection method used was purposive sampling and obtained a sample of 30 companies. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression. The results of this study indicate that. Institutional ownership has no effect on Tax Avoidance, the proportion of Independent Commissioners has no effect on Tax Avoidance, the Audit Committee has no effect on Tax Avoidance, Sales Growth has no effect on Tax Avoidance, Leverage has no effect on Tax Avoidance, Capital Intensity has no effect on Tax Avoidance, and Inventory Intensity has no effect on Tax Avoidance. In conclusion, the effect on Tax Avoidance is the proportion of independent commissioners and sales growth.     Challenges of E-Government Implementation in The Region Archipelago Characteristics

    Local governments implement e-government programs as a form of bureaucratic reform to achieve good governance. However, the implementation of E-government in South Halmahera Regency, geographically an archipelagic area, has its challenges, which the authors make as problems in this study. To assist research analysis using e-government theory. This research is qualitative research with a descriptive approach to analyzing the N-VIVO 12 Plus software. Based on the findings, the South Halmahera district has implemented e-government to a low degree with various challenges, including the distribution of telecommunications technology network infrastructure is not evenly distributed, limited budget support, lack of telecommunications infrastructure, lack of skilled resources, limited supply of electricity networks, lack of training and knowledge transformation of the apparatus, limited public knowledge, low socialization of e-government programs, not maximal collaboration and synergy between stakeholders.
