Ways of resolving systemic crisis in economic theory

    Get PDF
Objective modern economic science has been in a state of systemic crisis for many years. The reason is its empiricism which limits the possibilities of economic science to a superficial description of the economic process. Numerous attempts of the economic science to exit from stagnation by means of this discipline per se did not lead to positive result. Our goal is to overcome the situation of ldquodiscontinuityrdquo in the development of economic knowledge which had formed by the end of the 20th century. Methods abstractlogical historical methods of analysis and synthesis. Results the paper proposes a way out of this situation by means of scientific methodology which provides the opportunity to improve the specific discipline by using the power of the entire continuum of knowledge and methods developed by science during the whole period of its existence. The authors substantiate the necessity admissibility and legitimacy of transiting to a scientific paradigm based on classification by certain types of relations and using the energydynamic theory for representing the transfer and transformation of any forms of energy regardless of their belonging to a particular field of knowledge. In fact we are talking about transition from empirical science to the one based on the study of links between processes and phenomena as mathematics is not sufficient to describe their system features. It is indicated that the qualitative development of economic science can be provided only by studying objects as a set of elements with certain functions which corresponds to the concept of ldquosystems sciencerdquo. Scientific novelty the necessity is proved to transit to the science based on new ontology with the possibility to reach a higher level of abstraction. The ways of forming a new trajectory of economic theory development are designated the theoretical methodology tools are presented providing formation of such theory. The proposed systemic dimension of science allows fullfledged elaboration of elements of any origin regardless of the limitations within a scientific discipline. Practical significance the paper shows that modern science has everything necessary for the withdrawal of economic science from the state of stagnation which can be used by experts in the field of economics and related disciplines

The objective of this study was the investigation of the influence of ureaplasmal infection on the development of urethral meatus polyps in women. The article presents the results of the examination of women with chronic cystitis and urethritis over a 0.5- to 5-year duration, complicated by the presence of urethral meatus polyps and associated with concomitant Ureaplasma urealyticum and other sexually transmitted infections (STI). This was based on the culture analysis of the cervical and urethral content, and PCR-diagnostics of STI, as well as a complex pathomorphologic study of the resected polyps, including electron microscopy. In this study, 98 women between 45 and 60 years (52.5±4.9 years) were examined, who had undergone radiowave resection of the polyps: 52 women were infected by STI, including Ureaplasma urealyticum, Mycoplasma genitalium, Mycoplasma hominis, Chlamydia trachomatis and Trichomonas vaginalis, while the remaining 46 women had been diagnosed as not having STI. According to the culture results in the women with STI, U. urealyticum was identified as a monoinfection in 69% of cases, while in the remaining 31% of cases it was evident in the form of mixed infections, mainly in association with Mycoplasma hominis (17.5%) and Trichomonas vaginalis (13.5%). Pathomorphological examination of the urethral meatus polyps of the women with U. urealyticum and other STI demonstrated the proliferative character of the remodeling of the surface epithelium with hyperplasia, acanthosis, and keratinization of the stratified squamous epithelium and synchronous changes in the underlying connective tissue - impaired microcirculation and the diffuse inflammatory cell infiltrates with transepithelial leukopedesis. Using electron microscopy in the fibroblasts and plasma cells of the resected polyps the markers of U. urealyticum were detected in patients with negative results of the bacteriological diagnostic methods

An observation of Lagenorhynchus albirostris (Delphinidae, Odontoceti) in Kola Peninsula, Barents Sea in 2011

Lagenorhynchus albirostris is one of the most common Cetacean species in the Barents Sea. However, there is not a mention of its appearance in the Kola Bay. The present report confirms the appearance of a group of Lagenorhynchus albirostris in the Kola Bay near the aquacomplex of the Murmansk Marine Biological Institute of the Kola Research Centre of RAS, Polyarny town, in autumn 2011

Annama H chondrite-Mineralogy, physical properties, cosmic ray exposure, and parent body history

The fall of the Annama meteorite occurred early morning (local time) on April 19, 2014 on the Kola Peninsula (Russia). Based on mineralogy and physical properties, Annama is a typical H chondrite. It has a high Ar-Ar age of 4.4 Ga. Its cosmic ray exposure history is atypical as it is not part of the large group of H chondrites with a prominent 7-8 Ma peak in the exposure age histograms. Instead, its exposure age is within uncertainty of a smaller peak at 30 +/- 4 Ma. The results from short-lived radionuclides are compatible with an atmospheric pre-entry radius of 30-40 cm. However, based on noble gas and cosmogenic radionuclide data, Annama must have been part of a larger body (radius >65 cm) for a large part of its cosmic ray exposure history. The Be-10 concentration indicates a recent (3-5 Ma) breakup which may be responsible for the Annama parent body size reduction to 30-35 cm pre-entry radius.Peer reviewe
