Pengaruh Penggunaan Power Point Berbasis Animasi terhadap Hasil Belajar Siswa pada Materi Dimensi Tiga

Get PDF
This article discusses the use of PowerPoint animation in learning with the aim of knowing the differences in learning outcomes of students whose learning uses power points and without using power points in three-dimensional topics. The method used is an experimental design with a True Experimental Design, namely Posttest-Only Design. The sampling technique used cluster random sampling. Student learning outcomes data were obtained through the learning outcome test instrument in the form of essays. Data analysis using descriptive analysis techniques and inferential data analysis. Hypothesis testing using a parametric analysis t-test. The results of the analysis show that the average learning outcomes of students who are taught using power points are higher than those of students taught conventionally. One of the factors that support the improvement of student learning outcomes is a learning approach to geometric shapes that involves interesting visualization. Interesting visualization makes students not just imagine something abstract but can directly observe the object being studied

In this study 22 samples of urine sediments were obtained from patients with Urinary Bladder Carcinoma, DNA base technique and LOH detection was investigated in three genes P53, Rb1 and H-ras. The result are shown that LOH was present in most cases and for all genes where LOH in P53 represents (31.8%) and for Rb1 (45.4%) and for H-ras gene (27.2%).In some cases, more than one gene locus mutations were found

The blood, serum & urine samples are collected from (22) patients with urinary bladder cancer were admitted to Al-Hilla general teaching hospital after diagnosis by helping urology physician. The result appeared that E.coli with high percentage (22.7% ,27.2%)in nixed &single infection respectively followed by Ps.aeuroginosa (22.7% , 13.6%) and S.aureus (18.8% , 9.09%). Interleukin 2 &Interleukin 8 concentration level was detected in serum by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA) and data were compared with control to compare the performance of each cytokins & results show no elevated , no significant decrease in level in two cytokins, this leads to an independent factors for the detection of urinary bladder cancer

Oil palm trunk polymer composite: Morphology, water absorption, and thickness swelling behaviours.

Get PDF
In this research, impregnated oil palm trunks (OPT) and polymer composites were prepared from a combination of dried oil palm trunks with phenol formaldehyde (PF) and urea formaldehyde (UF) resin in different resin percentages using an impregnation method. Time of impregnation was a parameter used to control the percentage of resin content in the oil palm trunks. These studies investigated the effect of resin content and types of resin on the physical properties of impregnated OPT. Water absorption tests revealed that OPT polymer composite with 75% PF resin loading had increases of 21% and 26% for OPT polymer composites with 75% UF resin loading. The thickness swelling of OPT polymer composites with 75% PF resin loading exhibited the lowest value of 3.30% as compared with OPT polymer composite with 75% UF resin loading, which exhibited a value of 4.30%. The dimensional stability of the OPT polymer composites with the highest resin loading was slightly lower when compared to rubberwood. Scanning electron micrographs show that PF resin placement in OPT polymer composites was better, and resin penetration retained the original dried OPT structure

Characterization of the South Atlantic Anomaly

Get PDF
This research intends to characterize the South Atlantic Anomaly (SAA) by applying the power spectrum analysis approach. The motivation to study the SAA region is due to its nature. A comparison was made between the stations in the SAA region and outside the SAA region during the geomagnetic storm occurrence (active period) and the normal period where no geomagnetic storm occurred. The horizontal component of the data of the Earth's magnetic field for the occurrence of the active period was taken on 11 March 2011 while for the normal period it was taken on 3 February 2011. The data sample rate used is 1 min. The outcome of the research revealed that the SAA region had a tendency to be persistent during both periods. It can be said that the region experiences these characteristics because of the Earth's magnetic field strength. Through the research, it is found that as the Earth's magnetic field increases, it is likely to show an antipersistent value. This is found in the high-latitude region. The lower the Earth's magnetic field, the more it shows the persistent value as in the middle latitude region. In the region where the Earth's magnetic field is very low like the SAA region it shows a tendency to be persistent.</p

Impact of Crack Length into Pipe Conveying Fluid Utilizing Fast Fourier transform Computer Algorithm

Get PDF
One of the most prominent problems experienced by the oil facilities is leakage of oil from the pipes. This problem caused 55% of oil refineries to be shut off. Oil leakage is a common problem that often results in oil waste, damage, and hazard to public health. Therefore, it is necessary to use Modern technologies to reduce this phenomenon and avoid them in advance. Pipes that convey fluids have many uses in various industries and living facilities. Risk increases when the fluid inside the pipe is flammable. In this work, main case that cause damage to the pipe, longitudinal crack is investigate. This work presents a new experimental model based on computer applications with a Fast Fourier transform (FFT) algorithm for testing the effect of longitudinal crack length by frequency and ultrasonic measurements to measure fluid velocity. The method is used for plastic pipe with 2 cm internal diameter, 3 cm external diameter, and 1 m length. The modulus of elasticity of the material is 800 N/mm2 according to the ISO 178 test method. The pipe conveys oil with simply supported ends. The results show that FFT model shows better features compared with other ways that depends on visual inspection or localized measurements which gave an external perception of pipeline damage. FFT model offers a reliable and cheap style for ensuring pipeline integrity and warning the risks before its occurrence. From the observations made the fundamental natural frequency (FNF) decreases by increasing of crack length in the pipe that conveys flui

Allocation of investment lands for BOT projects under Iraqi law: problem and solution

Get PDF
Iraq is a developing country. It is lacking of the vital infrastructure such as water supply, power plant, railways, bridges, sewage and oil and gas transportation networks etc.The governments are unable to start such mega-projects to develop their infrastructure, due to lack of financial resources. To counter the paucity of funds in public sector, many governments have engaged the private sector to meet the increasing demands upon the public services. These public private partnerships have different forms of contracts, the most famous and important is Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) contract. In developing countries like Iraq these types of contracts can play important role in infrastructure development. But, unfortunately this concept is not very popular in Iraq. For that purpose, this paper is geared toward understanding the legal challenges that impede application of the BOT contracts into Iraq. This paper reviews the most important legal challenge which is the problem of allocation of lands for BOT projects. This study utilized qualitative and descriptive research methods, to describe the problem of allocation of the investment land which impede or obstruct the performance of the BOT contract in Iraq. “Descriptive research is suitable with this study for it describes the state of affairs as it exists at present.Qualitative method is also suitable when there is a need for exploring and understanding the interpretations of individuals or certain groups given to a particular phenomenon or problem”.[1] This study has attempted to interview participants to get their perception on problem of allocation of land as a negative factor prevents the application of BOT contracts in the country

Laser ablation of metal plate in water was performed in order to obtain gold and silver nanoparticles. Transmittance electron microscopy TEM and uv-vis spectrophotometer were conducted in order to determine the size and optical properties of the nanoparticles, respectively. The nanoparticles concentrations were also characterized by atomic absorption spectroscopy AAS measurement. The absorbance spectra show a sharp and peaks around 400 or 525 nm, indicating the production of silver and gold nanoparticles with average size of 25 nm, have been confirmed by TEM. Both Gold and silver nanoparticles show inhibition on the gama glutamate transferase (γ-GT) activity. The inhibition effect increase as a function of nanoparticles concentrations. Kinetic properties of (γ-GT) activity revealed (by nanoparticles) mixed type of inhibition
