    A performance appraisal is important for every employee and it is also useful for companies to assign the next policy action. In RS Roemani, the performance appraisal process is used for the promotion, the performance evaluation, the hajj subsidy, the outstanding employee and the adjustment of a diploma. While, the criteria used as much as 4 criteria and 13 sub-criteria and their implementation is still done by hand. The method used in this study is the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP), because it can make a complex problem be easily simplified, thereby accelerating the decision making process by arranging the hierarchy and providing comparative value of each criteria to determine the appropriate criteria. The criteria used are: (1) the commitment that consists of the honesty, the loyalty, the responsibility and the discipline; (2)The management that consists the leadership, the planning, the organizing and the directing; (3) The co-operation that consists of the communications, the ability for adaptation and the information sharing; (4) The performance both the quality and quantity. The Decision support system of performance appraisal using AHP method can be used for all of the assessment processes while the decision of the criteria and sub criteria can be changed in accordance to the management agreement.     Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk : 1) Menentukan formula dan teknik pengolahan yang tepat pada produk pie dengan substitusi pati garut. 2) Mengembangkan produk pie yang disubstitusi pati garut dengan isian brownies, buah-buahan dengan saus vla dan ragout sayur. 3) Mengetahui tingkat penerimaan masyarakat terhadap produk pie yang disubstitusi pati garut dengan variasi isian. Metode yang digunakan dalam pembuatan produk ini adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE melalui beberapa tahap yaitu 1) Analisis Resep dari beberapa referensi, 2) Perancangan produk (Design) merancang formula dan resep pengembangan menggunakan bahan potensi lokal yang dipilih yaitu pati garut, 3)Pembuatan dan pengujian produk (Develop) melakukan eksperimen atau percobaan untuk membuat produk yang telah dirancang, 4) Pengujian produk validasi I dan II, hasil eksperimen produk baru diujicobakan kepada orang yang lebih ahli (tim dosen pembimbing) untuk mendapatkan umpan balik. 5) Uji penerimaan produk dilakukan dari evaluasi produk dan perbaikan produk kemudian dilakukan uji panelis. Berdasarkan hasil dan pembahasan dapat disimpulkan sebagai berikut: 1) Formula yang tepat untuk membuat kulit pie dengan bahan subsitusi pati garut menggunakan perbandingan formula 40% pati garut dan 60% tepung terigu dengan komposisi bahan sebagai berikut: 60% tepung terigu, 40% pati garut, 50% margarin, 15% kuning telur, 0,8% garam, 10% air es. Proses pembuatan kulit pie dengan menggunakan teknik mealy pie dough, pencampuran adonan dengan menggunakan tangan hingga adonan berbentuk seperti pasir. 2) Pengembangan produk pie dengan subsitusi pati garut berupa variasi isian brownies dengan rasa manis, isian buah dengan potongan buah kiwi, jeruk, strawberry dengan vla dan isian ragout sayur dengan rasa asin. 3) Hasil uji penerimaan oleh 30 orang panelis terlatih terhadap produk pie yang disubsitusi pati garut dengan variasi isian dapat diterima dengan tingkat prosentase masing-masing produk untuk pie isi buah 93%, pie brownies 87%, dan isian ragout sayur 80%

    Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui penggunaan media, peningkatan prestasi setelah menggunakan media, dan mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan media pembelajaran berbasis Web Page Maker sebagai pendukung pembelajaran kelistrikan kendaraan ringan pada kompetensi perbaikan sistem starter di SMK Muhammadiyah Gamping. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimental dengan menggunakan desain penelitian nonequivalent control group desain. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua siswa kelas XII Teknik Kendaraan Ringan di SMK Muhammadiyah Gamping yang berjumlah 55 siswa. Populasi tersebut dibagi menjadi dua kelompok yaitu kelas XII A untuk kelompok eksperimen berjumlah 30 siswa yaitu kelas yang diberi pembelajaran menggunakan media berbasis Web Page Maker dan kelas XII B untuk kelompok kontrol yang berjumlah 25 siswa diberi pembelajaran secara konvensional. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan angket dengan menggunakan empat skala Likert untuk mengetahui penggunaan media sedangkan untuk mengetahui peningkatan penggunaan media dan efektivitas penggunaan media menggunakan tes berupa pretest dan posttest. Uji validitas instrumen menggunakan expert judgement dan product moment. Reliabilitas instrumen dihitung menggunakan Alpha Cronbach. Analisis data yang digunakan untuk menganalisis data hasil penelitian adalah statistik deskriptif dan uji t (t test). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media pembelajaran ini sangat baik dan sangat layak digunakan di SMK Muhammadiyah Gamping. Ini ditunjukkan dari penilaian dari guru pengampu yang menilai penggunaan media berdasarkan 4 aspek penilaian yaitu aspek isi materi, kemanfaatan media, desain layar, dan pengoprasian program menunjukkan nilai rata-rata 3,42 jika di konversikan dengan skala Likert menunjukkan bahwa kategori penggunaan media sangat baik. Hasil penelitian menggunakan tes menunjukkan prestasi belajar siswa pada kelas eksperimen memperoleh rata-rata 61,6 (pretest) dan 75,1 (posttest) terdapat peningkatan persentase 9,86%. Sedangkan dari uji-t menunjukkan thitung 5,075 lebih besar dari ttabel 1,69 ini dapat disimpulkan terdapat peningkatan yang signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar pada kelas eksperimen. Sedangkan efektivitas penggunaan media dengan mengkorelasikan prestasi belajar kelompok eksperimen dengan kelompok kontrol menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan yaitu dari uji-t memperoleh thitung 1,74 lebih besar dari ttabel 1,67

    The objective of the design optimization of solar cells using 2N3055 transistors former ATmega 16 microcontroller based solar cells is as a substitute for the source of electrical energy using electronic waste using directional solar cells. Making this tool to find out the performance of the components that are used as the main constituent of this tool. The design optimization of solar cells using the former 2N3055 transistor based microcontroller ATmega 16 using a light sensor (LDR) as a detector of the sun, and servo motors to drive the transistor in order to receive maximum sunlight. This tool works when the light sensor (LDR) detects the presence of light and then it will run the servo motors are used to drive the transistor in order to produce a voltage. The method used in solar cell design optimization using ATmega microcontroller based electronic waste 16 is an experimental method, the method is obtained design technique that consists of several stages: (1) identification of requirements, (2) Needs Analysis, (3) design tools hardware and software, (4) Preparation of equipment, (5) Testing and Tools (6) Operational Equipment. The hardware consists of (1) The minimum ATmega16 as the main controller, (2) LDR as light sensor is used to find the maximum light, (3) servo motor is used as a driver transistor (4) LCD as the viewer direction and angle of the motor goal servo. Based on the results of testing that has been done, it can be concluded that the tool design optimization of solar cells using the former 2N3055 transistor based microcontroller ATmega 16 can work in accordance with the working principles designed. It is shown that the transistor can produce a voltage of 5.6 Vdc, and a current of 0.00028 A was more than expected is 5.0 Vdc voltage and current 0.00025.     Money-Income Relationships between Three ERM Countries

    This paper investigates the monetary interdependence and the money-income relationship between countries under a pegged and a floating exchange rate system during the same time period (1979-1997). The relationship is tested between three ERM countries, France, Germany and Holland, and also between these countries and the United States. The ERM countries have a pegged exchange rate between themselves, and the rate between these countries and the United States is freely floating. The empirical tests are conducted by means of the Johansen multivariate cointegration method and the error correction model. Among the ERM countries, international transmission of monetary policy is found in almost all directions. This may provide evidence against the theory of German domination of the EMU.     Forecasting the time-varying beta of UK firms: GARCH models vs Kalman filter method

    This paper forecast the weekly time-varying beta of 20 UK firms by means of four different GARCH models and the Kalman filter method. The four GARCH models applied are the bivariate GARCH, BEKK GARCH, GARCH-GJR and the GARCH-X model. The paper also compares the forecasting ability of the GARCH models and the Kalman method. Forecast errors based on return forecasts are employed to evaluate out-of-sample forecasting ability of both GARCH models and Kalman method. Measures of forecast errors overwhelmingly support the Kalman filter approach. Among the GARCH models both GJR and GARCH-X models appear to provide a bit more accurate forecasts than the bivariate GARCH model

    Integration of Islamic Education with Science and Technology in Islamic Junior High School

    The integration of Islamic education with learning of science and technology is expected to be meaningful and easily understandable so that the goal of Islamic education in leading the students to recognize, understand, contemplate, believe, be piety, and have noble character in implementing the teachings of Islam from the primary source i.e. the holy book of Al-Quran and Al-Hadith through the teaching guidance, practicing, and the use of experience can be accomplished. The key of the integration in controlling and restoring science and technology to its original position, namely: amar ma'ruf, nahi munkar, and having faith in God. This study aims to determine the integration of Islamic education with science and technology in SMP Islam Al-Azhar 21 Solo Baru. By using qualitative descriptive method and also through triangulation technique to test the validity of data, the study is also aimed to search and arrange systematically the data obtained. The data is taken from interviews, field, and documentation by organizing data into categories, describing them into units, synthesizing, preparing into the pattern, classifying the important things that will be learned, and then making a conclusion. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that the observation result of creativity of the students showed that the smooth aspect of the students who have excellent category is 41.28% and the results of the flexibility aspect of the students who have excellent category is 36.69%. The observation results indicate that the detail aspect of the students who have excellent category is 33.98%

    Violence against women and children is any act that results in physical and psychological suffering for women and children. Violence against women and children is a crime that can be subject to criminal sanctions. The government tries its best to eradicate and eliminate acts of violence against women and children, by enacting Law Number 23 of 2002 as amended by Law Number: 35 of 2014 concerning the first amendment to Law Number 23 of 2002 concerning child protection , which was amended again by Perpu Number: 1 of 2016 concerning the third amendment of Law Number: 23 of 2002 concerning child protection, and Law Number: 23 of 2004 concerning the Elimination of domestic violence. The provisions of the laws and regulations as mentioned above, although they contain heavy legal sanctions, in reality there are still many cases of violence against women and children. This study uses a normative juridical approach or library research. The conclusion from the research results is that heavy legal sanctions, without ethical awareness of law enforcement officials to commit to enforcing them, will not deter the perpetrators and others from committing acts of violence against women and children. Eradicating or eliminating violence against women and children requires comprehensive efforts from all components of the nation, starting with taking formal and non-formal preventive actions.Keywords:Legal; Sanctions; Violenc
