Une longue citation attribuée à Hérodote est intégrée par Craig dans son manifeste « L’acteur et la Surmarionnette ». Après avoir examiné les raisons qui conduisent à penser qu’il s’agit d’un faux, non seulement parce que l’original ne peut en être retrouvé mais aussi parce que la description qu’elle fait de la danse d’un semi-automate ne correspond à aucune donnée historique ou archéologique, cet article examine quelles étaient les informations dont disposait Craig concernant les spectacles de l’Ancienne Égypte. La description faite en 1904 par un archéologue d’un petit théâtre de marionnettes, retrouvé dans une tombe égyptienne d’époque romaine, est envisagée comme l’une des sources possibles du texte de Craig : en ce sens, le texte attribué à Hérodote pourrait être considéré comme la seule description qui nous reste du spectacle de la Surmarionnette rêvé par Craig, son renvoi dans un passé très ancien (800 avant J.-C., selon Craig) ayant pour fonction de montrer que le théâtre est né de la danse, et non des poètes tragiques grecs.In his manifesto "The Actor and the Übermarionette", Craig attributes a lengthy quotation to Heroditus. Phosphorus nutrition of mycorrhizal trees

Globally, phosphorus (P) limits productivity of trees in many forests and plantations especially in highly weathered, acidic or calcareous pro!les. Most trees form mycorrhizal associations which are prevalent in the organic and mineral soil horizons. This review critically examines mechanisms that enhance the acquisition of P by tree roots.Mycorrhizal roots have a greater capacity to take up phosphate (Pi) from the soil solution than non-mycorrhizal root tips. Factors that contribute to this include the extent of extraradical hyphal penetration of soil and the physiology and biochemistry of the fungal/soil and fungal/plant interfaces. Ectomycorrhizal (ECM) trees are likely to bene!t from association with basidiomycetes that possess several high-affinity Pi transporters that are expressed in extraradical hyphae and whose expression is enhanced by P de!ciency. To understand fully the role of these putative transporters in the symbiosis, data regarding their localization, Pi transport capacities and regulation are required. Some ECM fungi are able to effect release of Pi from insoluble mineral P through excretion of lowmolecular-weight organic anions such as oxalate, but the relative contribution of insoluble P dissolution in situ remains to be quanti!ed. How the production of oxalate is regulated by nitrogen remains a key question to be answered. Lastly, phosphatase release from mycorrhizas is likely to play a significant role in the acquisition of Pi from labile organic forms of P (Po). As labile forms of Po can constitute the major fraction of the total P in some tropical and temperate soils, a greater understanding of the forms of Po available to the phosphatases is warranted

Institutional translation has been extensively described (Koskinen 2008, 2009, 2011, 2014; Brownlie 2017; Svoboda 2017 to name but a few) and encompasses texts from supranational, multilingual or bilingual organisations and utilities. It is meant to meet quality criteria and therefore often entails a normative dimension. Quality relies indeed on meeting various norms whether linguistic, translational or textual norms but also depends on the development of the workflow, on the organisation of textual production and on keeping up to current standards. While every step of the institutional translation process is described in documents such as manuals and style guides, are translations up to readers’ expectations and what are the consequences on translators’ daily lives? In order to address the question, we shall first try to define institutional translation and quality and show in what respect these notions are closely related to norms before delving into normativity and its various forms in translation daily practice and its fallout on translators

Le concept d’historicisme pourrait être utilisé pour désigner la reconstitution sur la scène d’une époque ou de codes théâtraux du passé, comme on le fait dans la peinture ou l’architecture. Mais c’est dans le sens philosophique du mot, dérivé des études marxistes, que Bertolt Brecht l’a introduit à la fin des années 30. Ce concept a ensuite été repris dans les années 70, avec des significations très différentes : tandis que Brecht voulait montrer le caractère transformable de la société, certains spécialistes l’ont appliqué à toute mise en scène référant de façon précise à une époque, même celle d’aujourd'hui. Les mises en scène considérées comme exemplaires de ce traitement (Georges Dandin et Le Tartuffe par Roger Planchon, Dom Juan par Patrice Chéreau), très influencées par Brecht, ont cherché à représenter les transformations de la société du Grand Siècle. Liberté de choix des élèves et concurrence des établissements: un survey de l’analyse du pilotage des systèmes éducatifs par les quasi- marchés

Les systèmes éducatifs publics confrontés à des chocs internes et externes sont entrés dans l’ère turbulente des réformes. L’objet de l’article est de faire un « survey » sur les dispositifs constitués par les quasi-marchés dans le domaine de l’éducation. Le dispositif est présenté dans ses grands principes, ses diverses modalités en rappelant le contexte qui a présidé à son émergence puis son développement. Une évaluation est ensuite établie en prenant appui sur les argumentaires d’un débat nourri qui s’est décliné au plan théorique et au plan empirique. Les interrogations sur l’efficience via une concurrence stimulée, et la ségrégation via le « sorting » en constituent des temps forts, de même que celles sur le rôle du système éducatif privé et sur la mobilisation des ressources humaines. The objective of the article is to draw up a survey about the mechanisms set up by the quasi markets in the field of education. The structure is presented in its major principles, its diver modalities in recalling the context that preside its emergence then its development. An evaluation is then established by taking supports on the arguments of a rich debate which declined to the theoretical and to the empirical field. The questions on the efficiency through a stimulated competition, and the segregation via the « sorting » constitute the strong periods, as well as the questions on the role of the private educational system and on the mobilization of the human resource
