Preliminary Design of an Automated White Board Cleaner

The work presented in this paper is on the preliminary design and fabrication of an automated whiteboard cleaner. The objective here in is to reduce the man-power involved in cleaning white boards after use. Though the use of smart boards is increasing, many institutions in the developed and developing world still make use of white boards. The Autodesk software was used for the CAD drawing and thereafter the design analyses and fabrication were done. The auto-board was designed to be powered by a single phase 0.6 HP electric motor. The chain drive parameters were determined based on estimations of the centre distance between the sprockets, the required cleaning time, number of sweeps, total number of chain links and the expected performance. The cleaning efficiency of the auto-white board cleaner is estimated to be better than the manual operation when the equipment is fully completed.Key words: Automated-white board-cleaner, Design-analyses, Preliminary-fabricatio

RADIATION MEASUREMENT OF RADIOISOTOPE IN MINERAL DEPOSIT AT SUBDISTRICT OF MIDDLE KUPANG WEST TIMOR ISLAND INDONESIA

The general objective of this work was investigation of radioisotope distribution and accumulation center in mineral deposit at sub-district of Middle Kupang West Timor Island Indonesia. The purposes of research were: to map of radioisotope distribution in the mineral deposit, to estimate area of radioisotope accumulation center in the mineral deposit, to establish range of nuclear radiation counts in the center region of radioisotope content in mineral deposit. The general methods used in this research were observation, survey, mapping, analysis, and interpretation. Procedures detail of research consists of: observe and identify the potential region and plot gridding, calibrate equipment necessary, measure background count in around of survey location and nuclear radiation in the survey location, plot of three dimensions curve and contour after corrected by background count. Based on geology information or geology data (drilling data) three depth levels determined (about 20 m, 40 m and 60 m), Radiation powers were calculated for estimation of accumulation center of radioisotope in deposit mineral, and contour and three dimensions curves of radiation power of radioisotope in deposit mineral were plotted. Results: Based on three dimensional curves and contour map (radiation counts and radiation powers on three levels) of radioisotope in mineral deposit respectively was distributed on area 3.00 x 106 m2, and 1.56 x 104 m2. JONAH (1-3) IN DIALOGUE WITH JUDAIC NATIONALISTIC VIEW OF YAHWEH: THE UNIVERSAL ISSUE

The objective of Jonah’s dialogue with Judaic nationalistic view of Yahweh is to widen the spiritual horizon of his co-religionists. Jonah questions their religious and racist prejudices and finally makes them aware that God cannot be the monopoly or the property of any single religion or race. Jonah makes these important prophetic points about the nature of God without ever losing his sense of humor while creating his outrageous and outlandish story with its many separate plots. One outcome of the dialogue shows that no one has the capability at any point in time to run away from or stay outside God’s presence. To be outside God’s cultic presence means to be trapped more within his structural presence. The universality of God’s presence is an incontestable certainty. Another result of the dialogue reveals that God’s powerful deeds, salvation included, cannot be limited by what is customary in human behavior and tradition. Deliverance belongs to God. Deliverance was offered to Jonah, a self-conceited unrepentant Jew, irrespective of his vain proud attitude and why would it be denied self-reflective Assyrians, non-Jews, who actually are penitently self-flagellating. The study further discovers that obedience to God is the highest currency in prophetic service. Jonah’s experience in the belly of the fish did great magic in accentuating his lesson on obedience and understanding of the universality of God to all people. ANALISIS PASCA PANEN DAN KELAYAKAN USAHATANI CABAI RAWIT PADA KELOMPOKTANI DAN NON KELOMPOK DI KELURAHAN TARUS KECAMATAN KUPANG TENGAH KABUPATEN KUPANG

This research was conducted in Tarus village, sub-District of Kupang Tengah, Kupang District. Aims of the research is investigated the amount of income and the feasibility of cayenne paper farming the research was held in July to August 2019. Respondents were determined using the census method in which 50 farmers were sampled using cayenne pepper. The results of research showed that the average income of cayenne pepper farmers for one planting season who joined at the farmer groups was Rp. 11.770.022.and the other hand the farmers who did not join the farmers group only Rp.10.762.320. the average R/C ratioof the farmer group chili farming is 8,32, while non-groups amounted to 4.85. Thus the income of cayenne farmers who join the group is higher compared to cayenne farmers who did not join the group because farners who joined the group spent less because they received subsidies from the government

Tingkat Pengetahuan Masyarakat Terhadap Penyakit Malaria Di Desa Praihambuli Kecamatan Nggoa Kabupaten Sumba Timur Tahun 2018

Malaria adalah penyakit infeksi dengan demam berkala yang disebabkan oleh parasit plasmodium dan ditularkan oleh nyamuk anopheles. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengukur tingkat pengetahuan masyarakat Desa Praihambuli Kecamatan Nggoa Kabupaten Sumba Timur terhadap gejala malaria, pencegahan, dan pengobatan malaria.Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif. Hasil penelitian tentang tingkat pengetahuan terhadap penyakit malaria di Desa Praihambuli Kecamatan Nggoa kabupaten Sumba Timur menunjukan bahwa:Tingkat pengetahuan masyarakat yang termasuk kategori cukup terhadap penyakit malaria berdasarkan kelompok umur yang terdiri dari kelompok umur 15-25 tahun sebesar 63%, 26-35 tahun 63%, 36-45 tahun 39%, dan umur 46-55 tahun 33%, Tingkat pengetahuan masyarakat berdasarkan tingkat pendidikan, yang termasuk kategori cukup terdiri dari PT 53%, SLTA 50%, SLTP 80%, dan SD 22% dan Tingkat pengetahuan masyarakat terhadap penyakit malaria di Desa Praihambuli secara umum adalah berpengetahuan cukup (65,54). Masyarakat di Desa Praihambuli Kecamatan Nggoa Kabupaten Sumba Timur memiliki tingkat pengetahuan cukup. Dengan demikian masyarakat dengan tingkat pengetahuan rata-rata cukup diharapkan lebih meningkatkan pengetahuannya terhadap gejala, pengobatan, pencegahan penyakit malari
