Integration of model-based systems engineering and virtual engineering tools for detailed design

Design and development of a system can be viewed as a process of transferring and transforming data using a set of tools that form the system\u27s development environment. Conversion of the systems engineering data into useful information is one of the prime objectives of the tools used in the process. With complex systems, the objective is further augmented with a need to represent the information in an accessible and comprehensible manner. The importance of representation is easily understood in light of the fact that the stakeholder\u27s ability to make prompt and appropriate decisions is directly related to his understanding of the available information. Systems Modeling Language (SysML), a graphical modeling language developed by Object Management Group is one such tool used to capture and convey information about a system under development. This work proposes a methodology for integrating the models developed using SysML with virtual engineering software to create an executable, interactive, and user-centered platform for engineering systems. The framework provides an opportunity to combine the benefits offered by both model-based systems engineering and virtual engineering for detail design. This research demonstrates how this framework can be implemented using a biotech fermentor to illustrate the coupling of information between SysML and virtual engineering --Abstract, page iii

Membedah Kekuatan Dan Kelemahan Ktsp (Antara Globalisasi Lokal Dan Ancaman Disintegrasi Bangsa)

As the ordinary of curriculum, KTSP has strength and weakness. This articles strives to further investigate from three mainstreams, i.e. local globalization, educational national standards, and national interest. Hopefully by this explanation, it will create a wider perspective in reviewing KTSP which has been implemented. The strength of KTSP was as medium to develop school's creativity and medium to develop local superiority which could force the process of “local globalization” in Indonesia. Meanwhile the weakness of KTSP was to remain the big crack in the effort of graduates' standard achievement and graduation standard, in addition KTSP also keep the destructive potential which could bring impact to the national disintegration. The weakness of KTSP could only overwhelmed consistently by enforcing Articles of PP 19/2005, and implementation multicultural education

Comment Les Chaines De Valeurs Ont-Elles Contribuées A Rédefinir Le Commerce Dans Le Monde

Analysis of Software Binaries for Reengineering-Driven Product Line Architecture\^aAn Industrial Case Study

This paper describes a method for the recovering of software architectures from a set of similar (but unrelated) software products in binary form. One intention is to drive refactoring into software product lines and combine architecture recovery with run time binary analysis and existing clustering methods. Using our runtime binary analysis, we create graphs that capture the dependencies between different software parts. These are clustered into smaller component graphs, that group software parts with high interactions into larger entities. The component graphs serve as a basis for further software product line work. In this paper, we concentrate on the analysis part of the method and the graph clustering. We apply the graph clustering method to a real application in the context of automation / robot configuration software tools.Comment: In Proceedings FMSPLE 2015, arXiv:1504.0301

Super Imposed Method for Text Extraction in a Sports Video

Video is one of the sources for presenting the valuable information. It contains sequence of video images, audio and text information. Text data present in video contain useful information for automatic annotation, structuring, mining, indexing and retrieval of video. Nowadays mechanically added (superimposed) text in video sequences provides useful information about their contents. It provides supplemental but important information for video indexing and retrieval. A large number of techniques have been proposed to address this problem. This paper provides a novel method of detecting video text regions containing player information and score in sports videos. It also proposes an improved algorithm for the automatic extraction of super imposed text in sports video. First, we identified key frames from video using the Color Histogram technique to minimize the number of video frames. Then, the key images were converted into gray images for the efficient text detection. Generally, the super imposed text displayed in bottom part of the image in the sports video. So, we cropped the text image regions in the gray image which contains the text information. Then we applied the canny edge detection algorithms for text edge detection. The ESPN cricket video data was taken for our experiment and extracted the super imposed text region in the sports video. Using the OCR tool, the text region image was converted as ASCII text and the result was verified
