Declarative Mechanism Design
Regulation of Multi-Agent Systems (MAS) and Declarative Electronic
Institutions (DEIs) was a multidisciplinary research topic of the past decade
involving (Physical and Software) Agents and Law since the beginning, but
recently evolved towards News-claimed Robot Lawyer since 2016. One of these
first proposals of restricting the behaviour of Software Agentswas Electronic
Institutions. However, with the recent reformulation of Artificial Neural
Networks (ANNs) as Deep Learning (DL), Security, Privacy,Ethical and Legal
issues regarding the use of DL has raised concerns in the Artificial
Intelligence (AI) Community. Now that the Regulation of MAS is almost correctly
addressed, we propose the Regulation of Artificial Neural Networks as
Agent-based Training of a special type of regulated Artificial Neural Network
that we call Institutional Neural Network (INN).The main purpose of this paper
is to bring attention to Artificial Teaching (AT) and to give a tentative
answer showing a proof-of-concept implementation of Regulated Deep Learning
(RDL). This paper introduces the former concept and provide sI, a language
previously used to model declaratively and extend Electronic Institutions, as a
means to regulate the execution of Artificial Neural Networks and their
interactions with Artificial Teachers (ATs
Social Choice Optimization
Social choice is the theory about collective decision towards social welfare
starting from individual opinions, preferences, interests or welfare. The field
of Computational Social Welfare is somewhat recent and it is gaining impact in
the Artificial Intelligence Community. Classical literature makes the
assumption of single-peaked preferences, i.e. there exist a order in the
preferences and there is a global maximum in this order. This year some
theoretical results were published about Two-stage Approval Voting Systems
(TAVs), Multi-winner Selection Rules (MWSR) and Incomplete (IPs) and Circular
Preferences (CPs). The purpose of this paper is three-fold: Firstly, I want to
introduced Social Choice Optimisation as a generalisation of TAVs where there
is a max stage and a min stage implementing thus a Minimax, well-known
Artificial Intelligence decision-making rule to minimize hindering towards a
(Social) Goal. Secondly, I want to introduce, following my Open Standardization
and Open Integration Theory (in refinement process) put in practice in my
dissertation, the Open Standardization of Social Inclusion, as a global social
goal of Social Choice Optimization

The perceived quality, value and satisfaction of a sports club. The prospect of parents and adult athletes
Due to the interest in knowing the perception of sports services, this study has the objective to assess the perceived quality, value and satisfaction of sports club basketball parents and adult athletes, and to examine the relationship between these variables. Sample was composed by 112 users (33 women and 79 men) of a basketball sport club, being realized first an analysis descriptive, second an exploratory factorial analysis, an analysis of variance and finally linear regressions. Results show a reliable and valid instrument composed by five dimensions (activity, facilities, material, staff and communication) where the activity and staff dimensions were the best rated. At last before linear regressions’ study, a significant relationship was found between perceived quality and perceived value, especially in activity and personal dimensions. Also a relationship between perceived value and satisfaction was established

Digital mutation. Keys to development of teaching of Corporate Communication in the liquid education
Professors and students are digital citizens immersed in an ever-changing liquid education. Both must
teach, leam and reflect on knowledge and professions which, in turn, are constantly changing, like
Corporate Communications. There is no other option than digital mutation for university to move in the
same direction and speed as the industry. However, we must not forget that digital mutation should not be
only focused on the use of tools, but on adopting a new way of thinking
Translation description for assessment and post-editing The case of personal pronouns in translated Spanish
p. 112-136This paper presents a corpus-based descriptive research procedure for the identification of significant divergences between original Spanish and Spanish translated from English. When considering the language pair English-Spanish, personal pronouns seem to be good markers of significant differences (anchor phenomena), since they must obligatorily occur in English, but not in Spanish. To test this hypothesis, empirical data have been extracted from a large reference corpus in Spanish (CREA) and from an English-Spanish parallel corpus (P-ACTRES), in both cases from the fiction subcorpora. Statistically significant differences have been found in some of the uses of personal pronouns, having textual and pragmatic implications in the target texts. The aim is to use the results obtained in the case of personal pronouns, together with results from other linguistic areas, to build a semi-automated tool for the post-editing of Spanish translations of texts written originally in English.S
