    We present a scheme for the improved description of the long-range interatomic force constants in a more accurate way than the procedure which is commonly used within plane-wave based density-functional perturbation-theory calculations. Our scheme is based on the inclusion of a q point grid which is denser in a restricted area around the center of the Brillouin Zone than in the remaining parts, even though the method is not limited to an area around Gamma.     A contour integration method is presented to determine the eigenmodes in a layered structure closed with PML layers at the boundaries of the computational window. Improvements are provided to ensure the accuracy of contour integration and to assure that all the encircled eigenvalues are determined. Numerical examples are presented to test the accuracy of the method

    Absztrakt Az internet kikerülhetetlen tényezővé vált az egészségügyben és az orvos–beteg kapcsolatban. Hatását két elméleti keretben érdemes vizsgálni: az orvosi hivatásra gyakorolt hatás mellett a döntéshozatali mechanizmusokkal való kölcsönhatás elemzése segít értelmezni a jelenséget, hogy a páciensek az interneten informálódnak betegségükről, a lehetséges gyógymódról vagy az orvosról. Az orvosok többsége idegenkedik attól, hogy a páciensek az internetet is felhasználják gyógyulásuk érdekében, és aggályaikban nem csupán a betegek, hanem saját státuszuk, idejük féltése is megjelenik. Ez a félelem azonban nem indokolt, még akkor sem, ha a napi rutinba nehezen illeszthető be az „internetbeteg”. Az internet nemcsak szükséges rosszként értelmezhető, hanem hatékony kommunikációs technikákkal az orvos a maga előnyére fordíthatja a betegek internetezési szokásait. Orv.     Electrical conductivity of multi-walled carbon nanotubes-SU8 epoxy composites

    We have characterized the electrical conductivity of the composite which consists of multi-walled carbon nanotubes dispersed in SU8 epoxy resin. Depending on the processing conditions of the epoxy (ranging from non-polymerized to cross-linked) we obtained tunneling and percolating-like regimes of the electrical conductivity of the composites. We interpret the observed qualitative change of the conductivity behavior in terms of reduced separation between the nanotubes induced by polymerization of the epoxy matrix.Comment: 4 pages, 3 figure
