14 páginas.Trabajo Fin de Máster Universitario en Flebología y Linfología (2015/16). Tutor: Dr. Jorge Alberto Segura. Sonographic needle visualization is important for precise pricks. The aim of this study was to compare the time for effective puncture and the realization of effective primary intention puncture under ultrasound guidance assistance using a guidance device versus free hand for incompetent perforating treatment with endovascular laser and sclerotherapy. Materials and Methods: We developed and a guiding device coupled to an ultrasound transducer L38 / 10-5mhz for flat perforator punctures. time for effective puncture and the percentage of effective puncture first intention incompetent perforating veins in 60 randomly which were treated with endovascular laser (n = 30) and sclerotherapy (n = 30) were analyzed. In turn, each treatment was evaluated in puncture type: freehand (FH) or guide device (GD). Results: Time for effective puncture perforating veins under ultrasound was dependent on two factors evaluated, type of treatment used (endovascular laser or sclerotherapy) and type of puncture (free or guide device hand) (ANOVA two classification criteria, p <0.05). The guide device significantly reduced the time to effectively puncture both endovascular laser treatment and sclerotherapy. Furthermore, the guide device showed better percentage of effective primary intention puncture both endovascular laser as sclerotherapy. Conclusions: The use of the guide device offers advantages in obtaining accurately and quickly access ecoasistidos incompetent perforating veins both endovascular laser therapy and sclerotherapy. The device allows formalize the method, watch the needle at all times and increase the chances of success of the puncture in the first instance
