Uncommon external abdominal oblique muscle strain in a professional soccer player: a case report

BACKGROUND: This is the first report of external abdominal oblique muscle injury occurring in a professional soccer player. CASE PRESENTATION: A 28-year-old Caucasian professional soccer player presented after experiencing a popping sensation associated with strong parietal pain localized between the left 11th and 12th ribs. Ultrasound examination revealed a collection of fluid under the 11th rib, suggesting injury of the left external oblique muscle. Platelet-rich plasma treatment was administered and the soccer player returned to competition on the 21st day after treatment. CONCLUSION: This rare injury results from a sudden intrinsic eccentric contraction of the internal oblique muscle while in a stretched position. Ultrasound can help to confirm the diagnosis and to monitor clinical follow-up. Platelet-rich plasma treatment could aid recovery in high-level athletes

PENGARUH INTENSITAS KETERLIBATAN SISWA DALAM GERAKAN LITERASI SEKOLAH TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN MEMBACA PEMAHAMAN SISWA SMP

Penelitian ini berjudul Pengaruh Intensitas Keterlibatan Siswa dalam Gerakan Literasi Sekolah Terhadap Kemampuan Membaca Pemahaman, memiliki tujuan untuk mencari ada atau tidaknya pengaruh keaktifan ataupun korelasi antara Intensitas siswa dalam kegiatan GLS terhadap kemampuan membaca pemahaman setiap siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis korelasi spearman dalam pengolahan datanya. Tes membaca dipusatkan dalam mencari pemahaman isi bacaan dan soal (PI) dengan menitikberatkan kognitif siswa (Teori Kognisi Bloom) Subjek sebanyak 141 orang siswa kelas 8 SMP di Bandung. Penelitan ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif. Dari sebanyak 141 siswa yang mengikuti tes dan mengisi angket, dapat dikemukakan bahwasannya kemampuan membaca siswa cenderung cukup baik, serta intensitas siswa masih bisa dikatakan cukup baik secara garis besar. Terdapat korelasi yang lemah antara Intensitas keterlibatan GLS terhadap kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa. Kata kunci: Gerakan Literasi Sekolah, Kemampuan Membaca Pemahaman, Membaca. The theme of this thesis is The Impact of Student’s Involvement Intensity in School Literacy Programme towards Comprehensive Reading Skill in Junior High School Students, purpose of this study or research is looking for any possibilities if there’s any effect from the Student involvement in School Literacy Program towards the every student’s comprehensive reading skill. This research also used spearman’s correlational analysis for the processing the data. The reading test used in this research based on text interference scoring towards the Bloom Cognitive Theory. 141 subjects come from 8th grade student of 40th Junior High School Bandung. This research categorized as quantitative research. It could be concluded that reading skills is quite good, yet the student could be said quiet active when involved in student literacy program on their school, based on what had been found from 141 student that involved on this research as participant. There’s a low correlation between the Involvement intensities of student in school literacy program towards the comprehensive reading skills. THE EFFECT OF CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT ADOPTION TOWARD ORGANIZATIONAL PERFORMANCE OF BUSINESS-TO-BUSINESS MARKET (THE STUDY OF BPJS EMPLOYMENT PADANG BRANCH)

The research has the purpose to find the effect of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) adoption toward both of customer satisfaction and organizational performance the study of BPJS Employment Padang Branch. The data obtained through questionnaire, and sample were drawn from 209 PIC (Person in Charge) from each companies that listed in BPJS Employment Padang Branch. The data analyzed by using SPSS 21.0 and SmartPLS 3.0. In this research there are three variables, those are CRM Adoption (have 3 dimensions of customer-centric management, CRM organization, and Operational CRM), Customer Satisfaction and Organizational Performance. The finding indicated that CRM Adoption significantly effect organizational performance, CRM adoption significantly effect customer satisfaction, and customer satisfaction significantly effect organizational performance. Abreviasi pada berita daring bertopik covid-19 dalam negeri: sebuah analisis morfologi

This research is designed to be qualitative research with morphological approach, relying on the abbreviation theory as one of word formation process. Abbreviation is a shortening of the language term that occurs with the shortening of the lexeme. Any form of the abbreviation could be found in everyday life, especially in every daily national online news. Nevertheless, rests of the people only know the lexical meaning or contexts of every abbreviation that occur, without understanding how the abbreviations were arranged in linguistic point of view. The aim of this research is to describe the process of establishing abbreviation in every national online news with topics related to Covid-19. Abreviations related to covid-19 were the crucial object for this research. The method used is a method of listening and recording for data retrieval from national online news, and relying on Kridalaksana (2010)’s abbreviation theory and the General Guidelines for Spelling Bahasa Indonesia for the research analysis approach. The results suggest a form of abreviation in the form of abbreviations and contractions related to the Covid-19 pandemic. Shorthand abbreviation form found in this research were PPKM (Pemberlakuan Pembatasan Kegiatan Masyarakat), PSBB (Pembatasan Sosial Berskala Besar), OTG (Orang Tanpa Gejala), AKB (Adaptasi Kebiasaan Baru), and PJJ (Pembelajaran Jarak Jauh). Development of plasmid and oligonucleotide nanometric particles

Nucleic acids delivery vectors have shown promising therapeutic potential in model systems. However, comparable clinical success is delayed essentially because of their poor biodistribution and of their ineffective intracellular trafficking. The size of condensed DNA particles is a key determinant for in vivo diffusion, as well as for gene delivery to the cell nucleus. Towards this goal, we have developed cationic thiol-detergents that individually compact plasmid DNA molecules into anionic particles. These particles are then ‘stabilized’ by air-induced dimerization of the detergent into a disulfide lipid on the template DNA. The particles all measure approximately 30 nm, which corresponds to the volume of a single molecule of plasmid DNA. The gel electrophoretic mobility of the anionic particles was found to be higher than that of the plasmid DNA itself. Similarly, particles formed with a 31-mer oligonucleotide measured 19 nm. Improved in vivo diffusion, as well as improved intracellular trafficking may be inferred from the faster migration of the complexes. Moreover, the size of the particles remains compatible with nuclear pore crossing. Finally, in an attempt to improve the biodistribution of these particles, we have coated the monomolecular particles with a poly(ethylene glycol) corona
