Models For Making Decisions On Purchase Volumes Depending On The Assessment Of Upcoming Retail Sales

    Get PDF
This article considers an economic system that consists of three types of business entities: a manufacturer, a distributor (wholesaler), and a retailer. Mathematical models that allow the distributor (wholesaler) to make informed decisions about the volume of goods purchased from the manufacturer are considered, using the assessment of upcoming retail sales, assuming that the manufacturer's selling price depends on the volume of purchases. Models are built from the standpoint of resolving conflicts between participants in the decision-making process: purchasing managers who strive to have enough inventory and financiers who want to reduce this volume, for example, to increase the liquidity of the organization's assets or reduce storage costs. The constructed models allow the distributor to solve the problem of determining the optimal volume of goods to purchase that will maximize additional profit

Models For Making Decisions On The Volume And Price Of Purchases In Wholesale Trade

The article proposes a mathematical model to support decision-making on the volume of purchases and the level of retail prices, which the wholesale company (dealer) sets depending on the manufacturer's selling prices and the demand of end buyers for various volumes of wholesale purchases. It is assumed that the manufacturer and the wholesaler influence price through pricing policy. As a result, the problem of determining the optimal volume of wholesale purchases and sales, depending on supply and demand, as well as changes in the level of purchase and selling prices, is posed and solved. Two options for setting the problem are considered here: when the end buyer is informed and not informed about the producer's prices

OUTLINING THE FACTORS DETERMINING THE ECONOMIC EFFECTIVENESS OF COLLABORATIVE INTERACTION IN BUSINESS

    Get PDF
The purpose of this article is to explain the popular principle of collaborative business interaction by using the optimal firm size model developed by Oliver Williamson. A company that uses collaborative interaction reduces its production costs by lowering the price of its core capital. The article is based on results from research conducted with budget funds under a government procurement awarded to the Financial University in 2014

BASED: Benchmarking, Analysis, and Structural Estimation of Deblurring

This paper discusses the challenges of evaluating deblurring-methods quality and proposes a reduced-reference metric based on machine learning. Traditional quality-assessment metrics such as PSNR and SSIM are common for this task, but not only do they correlate poorly with subjective assessments, they also require ground-truth (GT) frames, which can be difficult to obtain in the case of deblurring. To develop and evaluate our metric, we created a new motion-blur dataset using a beam splitter. The setup captured various motion types using a static camera, as most scenes in existing datasets include blur due to camera motion. We also conducted two large subjective comparisons to aid in metric development. Our resulting metric requires no GT frames, and it correlates well with subjective human perception of blur

Efficiency analysis provides an opportunity not only to justify management decisions, but also to evaluate the activity of the subjects of public administration. Taking into account the multidimensional nature of the category of «efficiency» and the presence of many subjects of public administration, the formation of the conceptual foundations of the theory of effectiveness is an urgent task for research and practice.

Isospin breaking of the narrow charmonium state of Belle at 3872 MeV as a deuson

The narrow charmonium state near 3872 MeV reported by the Belle collaboration and confirmedby CDF lies almost exactly at the neutral D anti-D* threshold. As was predicted many years ago it can be a deuteronlike meson-meson state called a deuson. If so, it should be an axial, or possibily a pseudoscalar state with C=0, and isospin predominantly 0. Large isospin breaking is expected because of the isospin mass splitting between the neutral and charged D (D*) mesons. Because of this large isospin breaking the decay X(3872) to J/psi rho would be allowed, while J/psi sigma would be forbidden by C-parity, as indicated by the present data.Comment: 7 latex pages 5 figures.
