Jsou vytvořeny procesní mapy, program a plán auditu, vydán příkaz k provedení a zpracovány otázky k auditu nejen dle ČSN EN ISO 9001:2009. The first part of the thesis maps the current state of the discussed theme and introduces the analyzed company, its system of documentation of work assignments, its customers as well as the organizational chart and structure of its employees. The second part of the thesis provides the subjective summary and assessment of the present condition of corporate activities. The third part is conceived as an implementation guideline and methodology for internal audit. It contains an elaborated description of the required activities and lists respective authorizations of the responsible persons. All procedural matters related to the internal audit are presented graphically. In addition, this part offers a detailed description of the documentation of preparation, execution, evaluation and completion of the audit and presentscorresponding forms associated with these activities. Also featured are the professional and personal demands on the auditor himself. The fourth part documents the specific procedure of the methodology application. It presents the process maps, program and plan of the audit as well as the order for execution and prepared questions forthe audit – notonly in compliance with ČSN EN ISO 9001:2009. After the audit itself, responses and discrepancies in the audit report are assessed. The fifth part of the thesis assesses the overall development of cooperation with the company, the procedure of elaboration and subsequent application of the methodology and system of internal audits.345 - Katedra mechanické technologievýborn

Factorization of Discriminatively Trained i-vector Extractor for Speaker Recognition

In this work, we continue in our research on i-vector extractor for speaker verification (SV) and we optimize its architecture for fast and effective discriminative training. We were motivated by computational and memory requirements caused by the large number of parameters of the original generative i-vector model. Our aim is to preserve the power of the original generative model, and at the same time focus the model towards extraction of speaker-related information. We show that it is possible to represent a standard generative i-vector extractor by a model with significantly less parameters and obtain similar performance on SV tasks. We can further refine this compact model by discriminative training and obtain i-vectors that lead to better performance on various SV benchmarks representing different acoustic domains.Comment: Submitted to Interspeech 2019, Graz, Austria. arXiv admin note: substantial text overlap with arXiv:1810.1318

A signalization in an Internet protocol environment is commonly used for monitoring quality of service and other parameters of a network. This thesis is involved in transmission of signalization through internet protocol networks and proposes scalable solution for small and even for large-scale internet television broadcasting. The main contribution of this thesis lies in design and validation of optimal hierarchical tree on the basis of resources assigned. This is done in respect to geographical distance, network distance of each particular member of the hierarchical structure. For the design of algorithms simulations and global experimental network were used.

Elevating Equity: Strategies from State-Level Clean Energy Standards in the United States

I compare strategies for equity in state-level clean energy standards across the United States. I avoid adopting an explicit definition of equity because I do not attempt to evaluate the impacts of these policies. Rather, I analyze how different states are forging their own definitions of equity within their clean energy policy. Specifically, I present case studies of four early adopters that have championed equity in their clean energy transition. First, New Mexico offers a unique strategy for protecting displaced fossil fuel workers through power plant securitization. Next, California’s robust policy context demonstrates how to minimize the financial impact of clean energy to ratepayers. Finally, New York and Washington each use dramatically different mechanisms to integrate reparational equity into the core of their clean energy policy. While it is still too early to quantitatively analyze the distributional impact of these policies, this case study approach provides useful insights into which constituencies states are prioritizing in the transition to clean energy and what strategies states are using to achieve equitable outcomes. Furthermore, these case studies reveal notable differences in states’ interpretations of equity in the context clean energy. I find that these differences reflect states’ needs to balance their cultural and political values with economic realities
